I like the idea:

Staking Wallet Programmers Help discussion group

If you write up any guilds and post them, maybe on golos or steem, so you get some bonus tips Wink

myself
I need to learn more RC commands.

Back to TALK (this forum) I'd like to have a type of 24/7 Help discussion group for coins in the club TALK.

Which means identifying knowledge-able and regular forum users.

At the time this would be pure voluntary, both providing help, and tipping helpers.

But in the long run, actual paid staff for Classic crypto help/support seems to be needed on this forum.

With discord, I suggest finding the most active discord channel for any of the POS chains and set up a base camp.

Joining some POS chains discord channel would be nice indeed. Gonna do some research sometime soon.

We need a discord channel.  That would be awesome.

That's fine, but I don't discord.

But it wouldn't hurt to have.

In principle TALK is about bitcointalk.org, and nothing more.

Which makes sense that we should talk more here.  I hope to have a Staking Wallet Programmers Help discussion group, but I hope you guys would attend it.  Nothing worse than starting something good and needed but not have people show up.

YOBIT open again! "Wallet status: Online (1859884blocks)"
NOPE -bit on STILL their own fork = yes still 10k blocks off

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/talk/  = block 1869037

Filed support ticket 2019-02-28
STILL unanswered.

I'm afraid we should give up on Yobit.
Same thing was happening with PKB coin, their wallet got on a fork. People messaged Yobit dozens of times - No response or action.

How do you transfer coin from the balance to the stake in your wallet?  It's showing only a very small amount in Staking.

just run + unlock if encrypted, the amt 'staking' is just the amount currently locked (can't be spent) for (some) blocks (after it has staked)     Wink

if we had coin control, you could use it to consolidate the many small inputs into one for better staking, currently looking out for a dev to update some things ...   Undecided

from paramind

'Low entry relatively stable staking coins are Truckcoin, RAIN, VersionCoin, Healthyworm, Bitradio, Bottlecaps, Chess, Compound, InflationCoin, TALK, BUZZ, and StackBit.'

i like this sector 'Low entry relatively stable staking coins'

There are 2 areas normie/newbie people can mine coins:

1.  low dif POW, that you can actually mine with a single GPU on a under $3000 machine.
[maybe BAT coin, this list is very short, for non-asic hardware mining]

2. the above mentioned POS
[the top tier POS chains are near impossible to stake unless you hav $$$$$$$_invested @ stake]

CompoundCoin, Stackbit, and Stronghands are all doing well with active devs.  Stronghands will be doing a swap soon to build value.   I've got it to stake, and the first two stake pretty easily.  InflationCoin is also strong.  Truck and VersionCoin also have an active dev but need more team support and buyers.  Bottlecaps needs some help unless the dev is just behind the scenes and not showing up.

Nodes do not create blocks.
Miners create blocks.
Period.
All proof of stake cryptocurrency nodes which are actively staking are unambiguous "mining nodes."

Is there any coin control in this wallet?  Where is it?

TALK was released before coin-control feature.  So no.
If we up date coin-control and the sprouts %tomint would be nice add-ons.

It's big and it stakes (sometimes but not right now).

Yes.  I realized what happened is that 100 was my Yobit withdrawal that finally got there when they went online.
