Which altcoins have the most nodes?

I saw this article which looks into concerns about the number of bitcoin nodes and got to wondering how many nodes the various altcoins have?
http://bitcoinist.net/btcc-deploys-full-bitcoin-nodes-to-keep-network-secure/

granite has 23 nodes currently on the latest compile of granite ( 1.0.2.0 ) - 16 of which are granite owned - operated - and maintained ... with another 9 on the previous versions ...

so far - the node list has grown quite rapidly these last few months and we hope will continue to do so - due to the major change we will be undertaking in 2016 and the granitenode system we will be implementing ...

once this system is in place - the nodes will carry a certain number of granite coins as a minimum to become a full granitenode ( a masternode with PoS earnings ) and continue to accrue coins via the node ... a simple system to incentivize granitenode adoption - but also a way to help make it easier to make the consensus rules for the network ...

ultimately its about stabilizing the network - but it is also about allowing the creation of an application layer for future apps to 'sit' and function on ...

a lot for the future of granite - but all will be revealed on both bct thread and the granite forum thread - alongside the projects that will be integrated into the granite ecosystem ...

bct thread - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-chainworks-industries-cwi-project-granite-simple-solid-stable-grn-718939 ...
granite thread - http://granitecoin.com/forum/index.php?topic=15962 ...
associated grn project - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/a-chainworks-industries-cwi-project-donate-by-mining-dbm-1089744 ...

we hope that the nodes will reach 700 and more by the end of 2016 ...

Why this coin only have one buy order in the exchange?, it is not a scam and inflation is relatively slow, really guys it is worth 1 satoshi per coin? sometimes  i dont understand altcoins  prices

looks like Santa dumped a load of TALK for the low bids ... dang no one sells below 25sats all year long then someone panic dumped on all BTC up for offer as far as I can read.

My 2 for 1 offer on bumba still stands ... so that gives TALK the value of around 60satos last I checked.

for future reference:
1.  there is a TALK/btc market but mostly for a reference point ... https://alcurex.org/index.php/crypto/index
2.  TALK/micro ... no fee "free" trading ... some better action there
3.  TALK / otc for other POS 'stakes' coins ... this is the main idea ... direct P2P trading of TALK
4.  tips if I have your address and I see you post in this thread I tip, also tip in other threads I read Wink

VNL is trying to solve the problems that Bitcoin is instead of coming out with marketable gimmicks.

-You can send unlimited coins over Zerotime, as opposed to Dash.

-VNL network can process 100 transactions/second on-chain (15x BTC) and 15,000 tx/sec off-chain (3x Visa's daily peak tx rate)

-Only coin other than Bitcoin that only requires 1 confirmation on Poloniex.  You can test this by going here: https://poloniex.com/public?command=returnCurrencies and searching for minconf":1,"

-Only coin that has staking mobile wallets that allow you to move your wallet.dat to your PC from your Android and iOS wallets

-Only coin with near-instant 0-confirmation transactions that doesn't use master nodes.  You can receive node incentives if you have 10,000 in collateral, but collateral is not necessary to be a super peer.  You just need an open VNL port, a certain amount of uptime, and possibly a certain amount of bandwidth.

-Only coin that has encrypted connections and gives you a random port if you have no config.dat.  All your ISP will see is normal SSL traffic while monitoring your ports, which is unlike what happens with all other coins.  If you're using Bitcoin and your ISP monitors your ports, it will know you're using port 8333, which means it knows you're using Bitcoin.

-Only coin that automatically burns all tx fees, and they're not sent to a burn address either

Also, you can get some for free until December 26 00:00:00 GMT if you'd like to try it.  See here for instructions:

(PoW/PoS) consensus system
Cold staking and decentralized stake pooling
Internal voting system
pow = BLAKE256 = merge mined
Hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallets - Wallets use a seed to deterministically generate addresses, so your wallet can be restored from a single BIP0032 seed.
Transaction expiration - Transactions have a new expiration field to prevent inclusion into the blockchain after a certain height.

@bumba
yeah windewrs ... [sad face]

i think i've sorted the issue myself will report more if or if i don't get it working ... but it still seems to be a bloated wallet.dat ... so still working on it, 99% sure it's not a bug/glitch just a frustration Wink

"what do you mean sluggish?"

Takes 10-15min to load and then will 'not respond' once loaded.
I created a fresh new wallet to see if that would help.  Not really.
Still derping around with it ... it doesn't seem to be a memory beast like others ... like i say i like it wouldn't minded leaving a client running most of the time but right now it is a bit frustrating given how i got things running.

ps ... https://cryptobetfair.com/ ... nice!

you on windows ?
i never use windows lol, and run mostly daemons anyway...
it's a generic x11 zero coin clone .. i will have to look at it again because i've never noticed such sluggishness..
on OSX it opens in 5 seconds :p

although with christmas i probably won't try it on windows for a few days at least Grin

@bumba
fun coin like it, but runs a little sluggish for my taste, small issue in the bigger picture

"also twice an hour, we've got a bot sending coins with a random tx fee of between 10-40 coins. So anyone staking has a chance to get that extra fee."

i might 'borrow' that idea  Grin

what do you mean sluggish? i'm curious..

hehe as long as you return it Cheesy it's quite a simple way to reward stakers, i quite like it as an idea.
