Marto, what's the debugging protocol for a HEX8A1 which won't mine. Mines actually been idle for a few weeks it seems. Powered, power LED is on, fans are on and its detected by the WRT. I've tried every form of restart there is.

Will there be or is there already a windows install guide for the coming minion chip boards, one that is understandable for people that only made batch files for bfgminer before, with directions for driver install, cgminer set up, etc?

Do the HEX4M come with USB cables? Just need to know if I should order some.

Any chance of dimensions of the board please trying to get a enclosure for it.
250x300x20 mm is with bottom heatsink mounted
in the height 20 you add 25 mm for the bottom fan , then some gap , then the height of your cooler
the Arctic freezer 7 pro we use is 127 mm high

Sorry for the short answers
In our patch for cgminer you can change both frequency and the core voltage free.
So you can make infinite combinations of Mgs/mVolts in order to find your own sweet spot.
These of you that used our product in the past should know that.

Yes to which question? Please be more specific in your answerer. I think these are important. Are you guarantying 400ghs from every board? Can the chip core voltage be lowered? Unless you can do this with under clocking you don't increase your ghs/watt.

Asked him via pm a few days ago and he confirmed that it is possible to underclock and undervolt.

he quoted the under clock question so he's saying yes to under clocking.

Can you also over clock it :p

Can you under clock and lower core voltage the Black Arrow chips on your board using your modified cgminer? I'm looking at extending the profitability (ghs/watt) of the miner as difficulty increases. Have the Black Arrow chips been graded? So far it looks like some will run at 800mhz max.

OK, thanks guys, I'm impressed with your board design skills Marto Cool

I have ordered 2 * Technobit TPLinks to run 12 * HEX4M boards.

I will be tying all of my 12 boards ground planes to a common short lead earthing system (I will be scoping the boards out first to make sure they have a 0V groundplane, I'm pretty sure they do).

The 1:6 USB buses, is it necessary (recommended) to have them powered by one of the ATX PSUs that is powering a board, to prevent ground loop issues? edit: It's probably a good idea, I will be doing this.

The CAN chaining still stays in our plans , but is not released yet. Sad
There was never time for that
I'll correct the product page.
The connector is mini USB B

About HEX4M, from TECHNOBIT website:

Quote
Several boards can be chained to run off one USB host.

Does this mean that [2 * cgminer TPLINKs] will be able to run  [12 * HEX4M boards] without needing any USB hubs?

If it's possible then what is the cable type needed for the 10 * inter-board connections.

Looking at the board photographs I'm guessing it's all USB-MINI-B

I believe marto forget to delete that line.
As far as i know, the board can not be chained. You will need usb hub to connect several board to host.
