I'm not really trading much as probably others do but if I can suggest you something: don't panic-sell and don't invest in those "shitcoins"
To find which is the shit coin to do trade is a strategy. To find this, we need experience and have knowledge on trading especially you must know how to check which is a good coin to invest and which is a shit coin not to invest. Your suggestion is good but to follow this suggestion we need experience.

My biggest problem in trading is that I was too brave to buy altcoin at a high price, and because of that I often lost my btc, even once I lost 50% of my btc when I bought altcoin at a price far above ICO.

So please give me feedback on this, what should I do?
Emotions or Patience is really a harmful thing if you don't really much control of it when it comes on investments or shall we say on the times we do buy coins. Don't ever try to do on buying on its peak or higher on the ICO price since possibility of price decrease or dumps do normally happen on trading world and once you funds are floating on negative then better not to cut loss but just still hang in there and wait for the right time to sell when the price rebounds back.

Choosing altcoin is not easy. A little direction from me, choose altcoin which is obviously its credibility. Look at the community where they discuss the coins you will buy, because there will usually be updates when the coin will dump and will pump.

See if it is in coinmarketcap. Then look at its supply, find a suitable price for your buy order.
Sincere piece of advice though. I will give the same advice for trading with altcoins. It’s wise to study any coin you want to buy. Check in detail its current status in the crypto market, the expected pump or dump in its values. Considering risks of trading with that particular coin can save you from huge loss. I will personally suggest you trading in bitcoins than in altcoins.

You should really pay attention to how the altcoin works. You can see who the team is working and also see the white paper that altcoin has. so you can know what the vision and mission of the altcoin project. Do not easily believe in dev that many promise, look realistically that the thing he promised is reasonable.

Sorry to hear that you already lost 50% of your btc.
1.Make your own research to buy altcoins.
2.Don't jump in shit coin.Don't be greedy.
3.sell if you are in 10% to 20% profit.
4.If you are in lose don't sell it,Hold tight
That’s the only way to trade with bitcoins. You have precisely explained the whole game, mate. Trading definitely involves risks and usually when the prices are continuously dumping, you feel like you are at complete loss and you are money is at stake. But that’s just an illusion. Just a little patience helps a lot in dealing with such negative thoughts. When the prices are again high, sell your bitcoins to enjoy the profit. That‘s all what trading is about.

It seems to me you don't have good knowledge of trading currency or crypto currency. For you to succeed in trading crypto currency there is need for you to have a good knowledge of what trading is all about particularly crypto currency. And if you want to get an expert advise you then have to pay some Satoshi for that there is no free lunch any where even in free town. My humble advise is that , there are other ways to invest your money in crypto currency which will earn reasonable profit on your investment.
Many people trade in the market without understanding the worth of market and the goods in which they are going to trade. I think a man must have to be acknowledged of the market as well as goods in the market.

If you go for trade in the market, you have to select the goods of low price, it is right that the earning of these type of products are very least but it will be confirmed that there will be no loss in the business in case of selling the goods. In trading; selection of goods regarding their worth in the market and best time for sailing out the product in the market are most important. I think bitcoin is good product for trading now a days.
Thats a good opinion that before they go for the trading they must have some knowledge regarding for that. Agree for that bitcoin will be the best for now.

Research, that is the key to do we anything in the trading markets. If you're not doing your own research if you're not doing any research at all or if you're not doing any kind of research with through another company such as a third-party investment firm then the you are not trading. Your simply gambling.

Here I would like to suggest you to do some better in this field , I don't mean to try again and again .
I means to say that every loss in the trading teach us that how to deal with your coin , if at once you will lose your all the money then you will never face such types of the loss in the future because you already have the history that gave a lesson to your mind .
Now this is the truth that everyone want make money and no one don't want loss money , so more better is to remain in the community in the trading field and without much wait make discussion about that particular coin which is going to high  or you are thinking that will grow or you are thinking that there is any reason to grow . So make such type of analysis why and when will be the big changes in the price of the  coin in which you have invested or you want invest .

I can recommend you my strategy, because that is the best and easye ststrategy for crypto currency trading, you can see my strategy in my youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1gmlbm9L3I

Your video suggest trading not, but I didn't the price and you have only 50 views until now.
Its hard to make money on trading, I learned that for every trade you need to know the moment when you get in and the moment when you are getting out. I can help you with a trading but you need to share more info, how much money you have for trading and what are your goals. Are you satisfied with 10% profit or your aim is 100% or more?
If you aim high then you need to have patience and to buy when price is down and you know that something will happen in the future ( like now with bitcoins ), always look for coins with active community. If its hard for you to understand trading then just buy and hold alts until they rich higher price in couple years.

Too brave or too greedy?, that will crush all trader on real market. Just let it go, be patience and start new trade with a good strategy and money management. For you I only suggest keep hold what coins you buy and don't sell it until August. Maybe you say " no " but August btc/altcoin has big issue and perhaps the price will comes up again. This is your money and I only suggested. Good luck.

The best trading strategy is waiting .First thing that you should do is to buy a bitcoin when the value of the bitcoin becomes low,and then wait for the righg time thay the value of the bitcoin becomes higher and by that your investment can have a return on investment.

I have been trading for 2 months now. What I have experienced is that investing in top 10 coins can earn you profit if not double but yes 10-20% if you hold. Next 50 coins usually has less volume but still can be trusted and if chosen wisely can earn you a good profit sometimes double of you initial investment. Now the left coins are like betting in dark with less probability of winning. Even a established trader can't accurately predict their future. It is better to stay away from such coins. However, there might be the possibility of good coin but that is rare. So try to stay in top 50. Never ever try to participate in pump and dump groups because they will definitely gonna rob you of your money.

1)Never buy Impulsively just because you're tired of waiting; Be patient!

I can't emphasize this point enough. Being too impulsive when I started trading cost me dearly as I purchased in big volumes at too high a price, only to see the price decrease by 50% soon afterwards. I won't be doing that again Smiley
