28 years old Italian Jasmine Paolini having amazing time in 2024 as she is now having second final of the Grand Slam event after losing final of French Open against Polish star Iga Świątek few minutes back she beats Croatian star Donna Vekić in semifinal of the Wimbledon Open with the score of 6–2 4–6 and 6–7.

As She lost first set I was having feeling she is going to lose in this match, but we have strong comeback from her with impressive performance, and now she is already having spot into final with second semifinal is already in progress between Rybakina vs Krejcikova match is in early stages, but we have good start from the Rybakina which have early service break and now trying to keep things for going into final where she could be favourite, but It's going to be one of the exciting games with 4th and 7th seeded players will be fight hard for the title.

I dont know it im surprised by that result of Medvedev beating Sinner, I thought
Sinner would win but Medvedev is capable of an upset, but Im confused about
it happening on grass....

The Italian flag is still flying with Jasmine Paolini though, she is into the semi final
after beating Emma Navarro in 2 sets 6-2, 6-1, I really thought that was going to
be a 3 setter. Paolini is definitely on course to win this I think.

I was also surprised about Sinner but from what I saw in the match he also had some fatigue problems, I had bet on him for the final victory, being Italian I am a big fan of Sinner and I hope he can continue to win for very very long time, even if in my opinion we will go towards a dualism with alcaraz, we'll see while we enjoy our champion

For me its looking very much like an Alcaraz v Djokovic final but wouldnt it be great if it was a
Medvedev  v Musetti alternative?

Taylor Fritz had a duel against Lorenzo Musetti who is currently 25th in the world rankings, while Taylor Fritz is No. 13, to be honest I hoped that Taylor Fritz would be able to come out of this game with a victory, so So I bet on him, I watched the game even though I don't really like watching tennis, but as I was bored and wanted to watch something, so I watched the game and during the game I thought about betting on Taylor Fritz who is a tennis player that I have I saw him in tournaments and in the news and I've bet on him in the past and because I saw some chance of him winning, but after I bet on him it seemed to me that Lorenzo Musetti started to get a lot better and all I could think of was: "I messed up "

and I stopped watching the game because for me it was already clear who the winner would be, I no longer had any expectation of winning a bet, luckily I always follow the rule of betting with lower values than my normal when I bet on games that are not football. With this victory, Lorenzo Musetti reaches the semi-finals of a Grand Slam for the first time

Is anyone giving Musetti a chance against Djokovic? can he at least take a set from the #2?
I think realistically an under bet is on here

Victory of Musetti was kind of unexpected even by me (I have seen this player sometimes also in live matches).
Fritz has a performance not linear, I means it's not the first time he had a bad loss.
At this point, lets see what the Italian player can do against Djokovic... Fortunately I have no placed many bets during this Wimbledon, but I have made many bad predictions Sad

Nope, Musetti wasnt on my radar either - still flying the Italian flag for the men! and on the womens
side Jasmine is still flying the flag beating Vekic in 3 sets with a difficult 3rd set tie break. She will
face either Krejcikova or Rybakina in the final.

Sinner has always a big dispute against Medvedev. Probably this antagonism come from a previous match where the Russian player "yawn" after the first set... For a long series Sinner has been able to win (around 5 consecutive matches)... today it was not the perfect day for him but this is part of tennis.
Meanwhile Alcaraz has been able to win against Paul despite a first set loss and many break point conceded.
I am not surprise at all... Wimbledon is something different, all players are trying to compete at their best condition.
I felt that Medvedev was nailing his serves way better than Sinner which helped him win crucial points. All 5 sets were quite entertaining to watch and I was actually rooting for both of them till the end. World No 1 is out.

Also, Alcaraz absolutely demolished Tommy even after losing the first set. Excited for Alcaraz vs Medvedev soon.

The Sinner had made light work of Ben Shelton and his big serve and now faces a much higher profile opponent. Daniil Medvedev had a moment of luck when Grigor Dimitrov suffered an injury in the last 16, and he stepped into his second consecutive Wimbledon quarterfinal. Medmedev, who won the first six matches against Sinner and lost the last five, is not the favorite in the current conditions, but a set seems possible.

Alcaraz vs Paul
Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz struggled in the last two rounds but somehow managed to win the matches. Alcaraz had some ups and downs on his serve against Ugo Humbert, but he came out of it with a one set win. Tommy Paul continued his post Queens form at Wimbledon, playing comfortable tennis in all but one match. Having split their previous two matches 2-2, this will be their first grass date. I think Alcaraz will have a tough time, but I think he will win.
We are currently having third set of this quarterfinal between Sinner vs Medvedev with after having win in first set Sinner is having some troubling time and lost second set and having service break in third set as well but as I am writing this we have another service break with this now he is back into match and set as well for having exciting end of this match.

In the second quarterfinal where we have exciting match between Alcaraz vs Paul we have quick service break for the Spaniard but Paul fights back and bring himself back into match against defending champions and in first set of the match things are looking interesting hopefully we will have good match till end between these all top players which are fighting hard for the title.

That was a bit of a surprising result by Fritz against Zverev actually, you did do well bitbollo
to bet as you did on 1st and 2nd set winners! nice one.

Quarter finals day today for both mens and womens sides:

Sinner v Medvedev
Alcaraz v Paul

There is a lot of talk of a Sinner v Alcaraz rematch from their semi final at RG this year, its
looking so but whether the outcome will be different remains to be seen. From what I have
seen from highlights I can get to watch any live matches Alcaraz is playing
fantastic as is Sinner which is a bit of a revelation for both players on grass.

Sun v Vekic - Sun beat Raducanu and is a qualifier ranked 123
Paolini v Navarro - Really hoping Paolini can win this. I would say this is headed for a 3 setter
so I'll bet over I think.

beautiful victory for Fritz.
I had the chance to bet on winning the first and second sets over Zverev Roll Eyes . Luckily I stopped there...
Djokovic is playing now against Rune. Actually he is winning "easy" (2-0 and 2 points break in 3rd set) .
Unexpected at least by my side, since Rune is not an easy player for him. Even in this case no bets.
Wimbledon competition seems like "another sport" Grin

Rune v Djokovic is definitely going to be a tough match but Rune hasnt been playing
to his usual standard, its a very interesting match up for sure, we could argue this
will be Djokovic's toughest match in the tournament so far.

Jasmine Paolini is going very well, Keys had to retire yesterday but I believe
Jasmine was going to win that.

Among other news, Rybakina needed very little effort to dispatch Wozniacki in straight sets 6:0, 6:1.

I think she is favourite for the tournament....

Alcaraz against Humbert has some "small" trouble but in the end he confirmed his place on next turn. Togheter with Sinner.
Shelton (opponent of Sinner) despite the high rank in ATP, he is not performing well this year and has won all matches at 5th set during Wimbledon...
Now it's the turn of Rune against Djokovic. This is not the easiest match... lets see how they will perfom...

The silence is deafening around here right in the middle of Wimbledon?

That's shocking, I only left you for a moment guys and you stopped posting here.  Grin Grin Grin

What's even more shocking is Iga Swiatek losing to Julia Putintseva of Kazakhstan 3:6, 6:1, 6:2. Putintseva is going to meet Jelena Ostapenko in the next round.

Among other news, Rybakina needed very little effort to dispatch Wozniacki in straight sets 6:0, 6:1.

Thats good news for Jasmine that Swiatek is out, at least if she gets to the final
it wont be a replay of the French open!

She plays Madison Keys today which is going to be tough for sure but she hasnt
dropped a set yet.

Others to watch out for is Navarro v Gauff - this is definitely going to 3 sets,
Navarro is going very well and Gauff is second seed. Over 20.5 @ 1.83.

We are heading into rounds of 16, Sinner, Alcaraz, Paul and Dimitrov have already
booked their slots.

Djokovic, Zverev, de Minaur, Fritz and Rune play today to progress. Shelton, Medvedev
and Humbert still in the mix.

Interesting match between Fritz and Tabilo coming up, good chance for an over bet,
I think Tabilo can take a set from Fritz at least.

The story of the tournament and one gaining momentum is Emma Raducanu
and her progress into the round of 16.

Also keeping an eye on Paolini.

Kopriva vs Djokovic
Vit Kopriva, who had a very good qualifying campaign and finally eliminated Richard Gasquet, has now qualified for the biggest matchup in tennis. However, Novak Djokovic, who will play his first official match since the knee injury and surgery that forced him to withdraw from the French Open, is in a precarious situation. I feel that the effects of the injury have largely subsided, but the lack of matches could be a challenge for him. Kopriva has the potential to surprise.

It would have been possible for Kopriva to do something bigger in the match but
Djokovic wouldnt play if he wasnt close to top form. Done and Dusted in 3 sets,
Kopriva got 5 games, thats it. Djokovic plays Fearnley next! lets face it he isnt going
to get caught early in the tournament.

Tomorrow Sinner will face another Italian M. Berrettini.
This guy has been unlucky with a lot of attention towards him, moreover he has some injuries and just nowadays he is trying to get again his place in the ATP Rank.
Of course... odds are totally in favor of Sinner, but Berrettini was the finalist here in Wimbledon and I think at this point of the tournament he can be a "decent" opponent Roll Eyes

Yes we would expect a Sinner win here but it could be a tough match all the same
if Mateo can put in a performance it will be a tough match, as said he can play
good Tennis on grass.
