And India has been challenged to play in the overcast condition in the first session which is the reason why three early wickets and it was expected too but after that Jaiswal and Pant brought back the game but unfortunately Pant nicked going away delivery just after hitting a boundary for similar ball then this duo came and played their best games and also condition seems to assist them.

How poor performance by the team India in the start. They were looking to lose this test match in their home ground against Bangladesh. In Chennai Cricket Stadium, there is a lot of people to see their team but no performance by team India and losing their wickets. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and other players have not scored well and on 150 scores they were batting in the loss of 6 wicket that was so poor performance by them till that time. Ashwin and Jadeja rescued them but I am still not convinced by the top order performance. Let’s see what will they do in the next games, I was really surprised after seeing India team today's performance in the test match, especially against Bangladesh.

With the fall of 6 wickets for 144 runs, I thought that maybe India would end the first innings before 200 runs by being all out, but with the amazing batting skills of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, no wickets fell at 339 runs.
These two legendary batsmen managed to relieve India from such undesirable situations not only with Bangladesh but many times in the past.

These two (Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin) are like the most under-rated players in the Indian squad. They have rescued the Indians many times in all formats of the game, and yet a lot of times the selectors find one or other excuse to drop them from the team. One reason for this maybe that these two are regarded as close to Dhoni and therefore opposed to the Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma gang. India were struggling at 144/6. From that position, these two took India to 339/6 by the end of the day's play. And Bangladesh is doing what they are best at. Losing matches which they should have been winning.

It's wishful thinking atm as seamers are charged up but Ash is not a typical tailender and it's not like he doesn't know how to hold a bat, he got 5 tons after all. Don't want to jinx it but he's timing well so maybe, just maybe lol
