I think after reaching to 350, they should have to declare their innings or if they will open with good strength tomorrow then they could also look for 400 as well but it depends on the situation. The team played around Kamindu Mendis who made 114 runs. However, we cannot deny the half century from Kusal Mendis and other players like Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews contributed too.

So far, Sri Lanka have scored well and if tomorrow they will declare their innings then no problem, because already they scored very well and it is a lot. I think the Sri Lanka team players done very good training for this test matches or the second reason behind this improvement, I think they have been played many test matches recently against England and some other teams that is why it may help them to improve their test cricket as today they are trying to do their best, not losing wickets quickly as they were doing in their last test series against England.
Kamindu Mendis batted very well and completed his century by playing confidently which helps a lot to their team in this game.

The sample size is small but Kamindu Mendis looks like a real deal. In his 6-7 match test career he already got some big numbers under his belt.

-1 daddy hundred + one 100 + 91 in England (6 innings)
-1 50 in Australia (only 1 inning)
-2 100s + one 90s in Bangladesh (4 innings)

He scored all these runs in an away series and Virtually no one hyping and talking about him much. In comparison to PIG-3 players, the likes of Marnus, Brook and Jaiswal got a shitload amount of hype when they scored runs.

PS: To be fair to Jaiswal, it was balanced and more like a "hope" because in India you are considered good if you perform in SENA.
