Bangladesh cricket team took a bitter taste after losing another test match against Sri Lanka. Throughout this series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, we have seen the batting and bowling performance of the Bangladesh team drop.As Shakib Al Hasan was not involved with Bangladesh in the first Test match, many thought that his absence might have weakened the Bangladesh team.However, even though Shakib Al Hasan joined the second Test match, he could not return the right position to the Bangladesh team with his batting and bowling performance.

Bangladesh's batting improved temporarily in the second Test match where Mehdi Hasan Miraj tried to fight alone.Mehdi Hasan Miraj remained unbeaten with 81 runs and two more batsmen like him should have played well then Bangladesh team could have fought evenly with Sri Lanka.

As expected, Bangladesh lost the 2nd test match by 192 runs. Bangladesh did show some resistance and scored more than I expected thanks to Mehidy Hasan Miraz's unbeaten 81 runs. BAN middle order got some start but could not convert it into a big score.  Lahiru Kumara was the pick of the bowler, he picked up 4 wickets while Kamindu Mendis also bowled well for his 3 wickets. Kamindu Mendis was declared player of the match because of his all-round performance. Sri Lanka won the series by 2-0.

Sri lanka easily won this second test match by 92 runs and won the series by 2-0. Bangladesh all out in 318 runs in 2nd innings only Bangladesh batter Mehidy Hasan Miraz well played scored 81 runs unbeaten from just 110 balls, just missed his well-deserved century by a few runs short but failed to chase down this huge target. The Player of the Match is Kamindu Mendis from Sri Lanka for his outstanding all-round batting and bowling performance in this test match. In the first inning they scored only 9 runs and also picked 3 wickets by giving 32 runs and in the second innings they scored 92 runs and remained unbeaten.

Bangladesh team managed to reduce their margin of defeat. The Bangladesh team was defeated by a margin of 192 runs. It is said for sure that Bangladesh will be defeated. Because in the first innings the Sri Lankan team collected a lot, but the batsmen of Bangladesh batted very badly in the first innings. While Sri Lanka scored 531 runs, Bangladesh scored only 178 runs.

Bangladesh is lagging behind in the Test format only because of the poor batting of their batsmen. The performance of every batsman in the squad is erratic. I do not see any improvement in Bangladesh's performance in the Test format unless the batting order improves.

The second test match of Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka team ended today, and Bangladesh team lost to Sri Lanka by 192 runs. We have seen that the Sri Lankan team was scoring a lot of runs on the first day due to which the Bangladesh team could bat more and reach that number later on. However, the batsmen of Bangladesh team tried to play well but could not survive today and did not succeed in meeting their target. Both the bowling and batting performances of the Sri Lankan team were excellent, due to which they easily put Bangladesh under pressure and beat them. In the first and second test match, Sri Lanka team won by a huge margin against Bangladesh, but Bangladesh team did not play well in any of the two test matches, but played badly and lost the team. If the Bangladesh team could have played from the first day like the runs they collected in today's match, then maybe there would have been some chance of winning against Sri Lanka. But the Sri Lanka team performed so well that they played the best on the first day and scored a huge score due to which the Bangladesh team did not succeed in advancing. After the game the result out of two test matches Sri Lankan team won two matches and Bangladesh team won no match they lost badly definitely for the next match Bangladesh should prepare better and improve the game.

Mehdi Hasan Miraj is suitable as the only patient batsman of Bangladesh team. He scored 81 runs off 110 balls and if his partnership with Khaled Ahmed can support him then there is a chance to build a longer partnership. But if the wicket is not protected there is a possibility of getting all out in a very short time as it is the last wicket. Still needing 193 runs for Bangladesh team to win, batting in the main stage is most responsible for losing this match.  If the batting king of the main phase could have performed better than Patience Sarkar then surely the chances of winning this match would have been much higher.

Bangladesh was not likely to win or draw this match, it was predicted after seeing Sri Lanka's first innings performance. The Bangladeshi bowlers bowled very badly in their first innings. Sri Lanka had a massive collection of 531. And the Bangladeshi batsmen's performance has been poor as usual in the Test format. And like the first test match, the Bangladeshi batsmen batted badly in the second match as well.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz and Hasan Mahmud are batting responsibly now. Miraz remains unbeaten with 73 runs. And Bangladesh collected 308 runs by losing 8 wickets. Sri Lanka will win this match. I don't see any possibility of the match being a draw. While Miraz is an experienced batsman, Hasan is not experienced enough.

Unfortunately, nowadays teams hardly opt for follow-on and it has become a norm. In recent times I also don't remember any follow on scenario. 4th inning pitch is never easy on spin track so can't blame the Lankans as well.

Oh well, at least Pathirana didn't celebrate that catch. It was a stunning catch tho, maybe a brain fade moment from the young speedster. 

SriLanka just need 3 more wickets with the whole day ahead of them, to win the series. While Bangladesh, with 3 wickets in hand, need to score 243 more runs to win. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is key for Bangladesh's survival as he's the set batsman closing in on another half century. Is it a foregone conclusion with very few wickets remaining?

I don't see any possibility of Bangladesh winning. Bangladesh still need 243 runs to win, Bangladesh have only 3 wickets which is impossible. If we want to draw the match, we have to survive the whole day today but it is impossible for Bangladesh to survive the whole day. Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz are unbeaten and if their pair breaks, Bangladesh will be all out quickly. It is certain that Sri Lanka will win this test as well. Bangladesh are going to lose the Test series 2-0 at home.

Bangladesh team did not perform well in the beginning of this test match, but they performed well in the end. Although victory is not possible according to this performance, 268 runs for 7 wickets have been collected so far. As Saathi's wickets have fallen now the attacking batting is no longer the only reliance on Mehdi Meraj, if Mehdi Meraj gets out then the Bangladesh team will have a high chance of going all out. Because the Bangladesh team still need to score 243 runs to win but it would be foolish to expect the Bangladesh player to win this match at this last time.

It is sad to see Bangladesh struggling in this match but all in vane. Their batters are having hard time and losing important wickets has made things tough for them. It does not look like remaining batters can score enough runs to be competitive. Bowlers did better in second inning of game but it was too late to make big difference. If they had bowled better in first inning match might have gone differently. Even though they got some wickets later on not having enough wickets might make it hard for them to win. Bangladesh fans must be feeling frustrated and we'll have to wait and see how they deal with challenges ahead.

Bangladesh were now looking in quite trouble and I think may be they will lose this second match too because currently they lose much more important wickets which put them under a huge pressure and to be honest may be rest of thier lineup will scored 100 or 150 max till his last wickets which isn't enough but I really appreciate thier bowlers comback in especially sirilankan second innings which is now quite late because such kind of bowling performance were required in sirilankan first innings in order to restrict them as much as possible below target because it's not only reduced pressure from Bangladesh but will be allow them long to be in the game but unfortunately they make a late comback and now they have decent chance but due to lack of wickets they will not filled the required target. Anyway let see how they manage things

This is only wished of Australian Cricket Board with nothing positive going to happen about this because in current circumstances India will be never play against Pakistan in bilateral series or match at any place this is policy of the Narendra Modi government specially while they are going for the elections in near future things like these never been going to happen.
Their all campaign is going to against Pakistan agenda then how can you expect anything related to this for me most chances India will be never visit to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 with ICC will be also not do anything just jump into issue for the favor of India and try to handle this all for having this Champions Trophy into the UAE instead of Pakistan.

Yes, Bangladesh cricket team is batting with a good fighting spirit in the second innings of their second Test match against Sri Lanka so far. If they had this attitude beforehand, maybe Bangladesh would have been able to draw at least in this test match. Bangladesh still trail the Sri Lankan cricket team by 243 runs but they have three wickets in hand which gives them another chance. Although Sri Lanka's victory in the two Test matches against Bangladesh is assured, it is not certain whether they will qualify for the ICC Test Championship, but they will be much ahead of Bangladesh in the ICC Test rankings. Bangladesh's Mehdi Hasan Miraj is still unbeaten on 44 off 49 balls and has a chance to complete another half-century in his Test career.

It is Sri Lanka who took the match to the 5th day actually. They would have won the match already if they used the follow-on rules. Bangladesh would have been all out within day 4 in their second innings. Maybe they thought to do a little batting practice and decided to bat for the second innings instead of applying the follow-on rules.

Looks like Pathirana used all his energy to take the catch and to tie the friendly bond with Bangladesh again .

Bangladesh is still 243 runs behind Sri Lanka. Perhaps Bangladesh will be quickly all out early on the fifth day and Sri Lanka will secure a big win in the second Test match against Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh competed well in T20 and ODI series, Bangladesh performed very poorly in Test cricket and could not put up any resistance against Sri Lanka. In the second test match, Shakib Al Hasan joined the Bangladesh team, the expectations were high, but even after Shakib Al Hasan joined the team, the team could not go to a respectable position. Since Bangladesh has lost 7 wickets, the Sri Lankan bowlers may lose the remaining three wickets at the beginning of the fifth day. As Bangladesh is a professional team in Test cricket, their performance must be improved.

It was a good idea for Sri Lanka to declare in a lower 2nd inning total. They were not making runs at a quicker pace and 500+ is already an impossible target for Bangladesh batsmen. Bangladesh's 2nd batting went as expected. Even though they were able to score more than their 1st inning but they also have lost 7 of their wickets. Sri Lanka now has some 90 overs to take those 3 wickets while Bangladesh can neither save their wicket so long or pull in 243 runs before losing those 3 wickets. Sri Lanka is the clear winner here.

I am not sure yet but according to Cricbuzz, we will see the Pakistan vs India test match in this year after such a long time, which will be hosted by Australia, and it will happen before the Champions Trophy 2025.

It happened after 2006 and in 2006, this series happened at Karachi Stadium Pakistan and that was won by Pakistan with a very good run rate. Let’s see what will happen this time in this test match but also it might be not possible because to see the Pakistan vs India match is not less than any miracle especially when it comes to test cricket.

Bangladesh team is in the need of 243 runs to win the test match against Sri Lanka and just three wickets are left but now they also have many overs so they have to make a partnership and depend on singles or doubles because they cannot take the risk at this time due to the pressure and the fear of Sri Lanka bowlers that they had been made in the some last matches.

I am making these statements on behalf of the Bangladesh supporters as to how they would hope to see the last day of the test. I hope that this match if they will put pressure to the Sri Lankan bowlers and if from this situation, the Bangladesh team wins then the team of Bangladesh team will rise once again. Hope for Miracle, will it happen tomorrow
