It just shows the lack of sting in England bowling attack. Their pacers have been defanged by the dead subcontinental pitches and then they don't have any quality spinners to trouble the Indian batsmen. Jack Leach and Rehan Ahmed would not even qualify to be included in the playing XIs of domestic teams, if they were born in India. All that said, I want Yashasvi Jaiswal to perform with such consistency when he is playing abroad under SENA conditions. We have a lot of players who behave like tigers at home, and then suddenly get transformed to Pomeranian puppies while playing abroad.
I feel for Indian players, their fans have no chills haha

They are only judged by SENA performance and virtually no rewards when they perform at home but that's not the case for others let's say England and Australia.

And god forbid if they fail lol. We know how fans throw big words like favoritism, nepotism, IPL quota etc etc   Roll Eyes

This kind of comparison exists all the time, recently in SA series the pitch is in favorable for the pace attack but the Indian team went with the right set of skilled players to counter-attack when they throw at but clearly other teams lacks that amount of quality players ion their team to have a good fight back when the tour India.

Jaiswal threw his away in the very first over of the day and KL seems to be playing with aggressive mode and don't let the momentum to go away.

Root bowls his first over and takes the crucial wicket of Jaiswal. I was expecting him to get his century but he lost his wickets because of a stupid shot. Gill is still trying to find his form, he is not looking as confident as he used to be earlier. KL Rahul is looking more confident than Gill, being a new batter on the pitch he is able to get singles more often than Gill.

Yes you are right West Indies are performing quite well in the second test compared to the first test.First innings West Indies batting lineup stumbled a lot early. After five wickets fell, I thought it wouldn't take long for Australia to all out the West Indies. But Kavem Hodge and Joshua Da Silva's 149-run sixth-wicket partnership helped the West Indies turn around. I don't think West Indies can cross 300 runs with late last batsman.
I was not hoping such kind of performance by West Indies they played quite well. Surprising thing is that West Indies lost their 5 wickets at 64 runs. But after that Joshua Da Silva and Kavem Hodge showed their power and they both pull the score above 200 and I was thinking how they were losing the wickets they hardly make 150 runs. But these two players hold the wicket tight and now West Indies has made 266 runs with the lost 8 wickets. And on the second means today they can go to 300. If they will go above 300 so there will be the chances of winning of West Indies.

Looking at the way Jaiswal is playing he would reach his century today. Gill has been slow but given time he can become a danger to the English side. India still trails by 127 runs and if these two stay on the wicket before the end of the first session then this trail would become a lead. Plenty of batting left, and a big score in the making on day 2. Yesterday they got a good start but by the end of day 1 they lost the captain because of a poor shot selection.

India's opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was very good with the bat, scoring 76 runs off 70 balls. In fact, he started batting thinking that it was an ODI match instead of a Test, comparatively England team started well but were under heavy wicket pressure later on. But the Indian team has been performing well throughout this season, only 127 runs are needed to meet the target in today's match, then whatever the Indian team collects from the next, the pressure will be on the England team. The batsmen of England team are not patient because they were all out in the first innings on the first day, they could not play patiently.

With England's first innings runs and India's brilliant start in contrast, it has been a tough challenge for England's bowlers to keep them within a few runs in the first innings. Since India have lost just one wicket so far and have set batsmen on the wicket, it is expected that India's first innings total will cross 350 plus. If India can score 350 plus runs in their first innings then India will be 100 runs ahead of England at the end of the first innings and in the next innings England will have to score twice as many runs as the first innings but in the first test match against India England will have to target 200 plus runs. The equation I talked about is a difficult one for England because they have to bowl well along with batting well. The plus point for India is if they can finish with a 100 run lead then the second innings and this match will be much easier for them.
India's batting is better than England in this test match. England scored only 246 runs in the first innings as India fell under the spin attack. On the other hand, when India came out to bat first, their captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for just 24 but from there Jaswal has been batting patiently till now he is unbeaten on 76 runs.At such a stage, India has collected a total of 119 runs, in return for one wicket, India still needs to collect 127 runs.

England toured India and were bowled out for just 246 runs in the first innings in the first Test match. Batting first innings, India are unbeaten on 119 runs at the end of the first day's play with the loss of just one wicket. England lost only 1 wicket to score 119 runs so it is certain that India will have a huge lead over England in the first innings. If India leads by more runs in the first innings, the second innings is definitely going to be difficult for England. The more runs India lead, the more runs England will have to score in the second innings and set a big target against India. The English did not perform well in the first innings, in that case, the bowlers must bowl well, only then something good can happen in this match, moreover, the result of this match is more likely to go in favor of India.

Between the England vs India Test match, India is in great position if we see. The spinners really did well, and it was noticed that the England batters were struggling. India also did an impressive batting, specifically Jaiswal. It seems like he is playing an ODI match instead of a test game. Let’s see if he can make his century or not. Moreover let’s see what today’s pitch analysis says about the pitch. I am guessing India will easily win this match.

In the second test match between West Indies vs Australia, the West Indies team turned around in the second test compared to the first test. The way the West Indies team is batting can give Australia a lead of 300 runs and if the West Indies team can bowl well, then maybe the second Test match will be full of competition between the two teams. If the West Indies team wants to win the second test match then they must do well in both bowling and batting otherwise West Indies can never win against Australia. Now the thing to be seen is how many runs the West Indies team gives Australia a lead

Here I have different opinion West Indian batting is still having loop which is giving them problems like as they were 65 for 5 there were expectations they were bowled out again on lower score, but their lower middle order give them some support which bring them to this score which is reasonable from 65 to 5 and at the end of the day 266 for 8 things are looking some better but still they need some good score from their top order which is badly failed to give their best in these three innings, and they lost first match badly but now if their bowlers able to bowl better than surely we can expect good cricket from these both teams.
Australia is currently having few one of the best batsmen and bowlers which are creating good difference of quality and now other teams need to improve their quality if they want to compete with top teams like Australia and India in coming matches.

The second Test match between West Indies and Australia is shaping up to be great. In the first test match West Indies team lost badly against Australia but in the second test match they might turn around and try to fight well in this test match. The West Indies cricket team has been batting well so far as they have scored 266 runs for eight wickets. Two of the West Indies batsmen were dismissed after coming close to a century. But Alzarri Joseph of the West Indies team batted today in T20 style, he scored 32 runs from only 22 balls today.
The West Indies team did not perform well in the first Test match losing wickets very quickly. In the second test match too, West Indies batsmen lost 5 wickets after 100 runs. Looking at the game at that time, it seemed that the West Indies team would be all out before they could even score 200 runs. With the amazing batting of these two, Kavem Hodge and Joshua, the West Indies team will be able to put up a fairly good score  Against Australia. Kavem Hodge scored 71 runs off 194 balls and Joshua scored 79 runs off 157 balls. If the West Indies team can give Australia a lead of around 300 runs, the game will be competitive.
In 2 nd test game of West Indies tour of Australia series, today Day 1 was already overed in between these teams. West Indies team won toss and they chose bat first in this game. West Indies team made 266 runs in 89.4 overs by losing 8 wickets and last 2 wickets left for play. In 1 day their effort in batting was going to be great and they already lost old test game very poorly. K.Hodge batsman scored 71 runs in 194 balls with eight 4s and one 6s but M.Starc took his wicket. J.Silva also scored well and made 79 runs in 159 balls with seven 4s and this batman also dismissed. Currently, K.Sinclair is batting in pitch and this batsman scored 16 runs in 37 balls with one 4s. M.Starc took down 4 wickets of West Indies teams in 20 overs with 63 runs.

Ohh no Alzarri Joseph caughtout bowled by Josh Hazelwood.
There were only two balls left but Alzarri Joseph couldn't keep himself safe. If he could defend these two balls today, he would get a chance to bat in the first session on the second day. He started well and was able to add 32 runs to the West Indies score but could not keep himself intact and was caught out by Smith while pushing Hazlewood's ball. Anyway, West Indies got off to a great start in today's second Test and ended the first day with 266 for the loss of 8 wickets.
Alzarri Joseph lost his wicket in last over of the day but still we have good performance from the West Indies because once while they were having 64 for 5 there were expectations they will bowl out before having 150 on score board, but we have good batting from Hodge and De Silva which put 160 runs and both were successful to score 70+ runs which is good development from them in these aggressive conditions while all four Australian bowlers doing good job for them and having wickets regularly which is also impressive from them.

Starc and Hazlewood both were at the top of the game so most chances now tomorrow they will add 10 to 15 more runs which could be good, and then we will have a good contest between West Indian bowlers and Australian batsmen which will decide who is going to stay at the top after end of first innings from both sides.

In Search of Incredible
I was expecting things like these from England because there were too much hype by their Bazball, and they were not trying to understand Indian conditions which are completely different from the Pakistan and their style of Bazball so this 246 is still good for me because I was expecting below 200 from them after winning toss and having batting first.
England didn't play in the aggressive mode from the start of the match today. Stokes has played in the Bazball mode after losing their 7th wickets. And he had helped a bit to boost the total runs with his performance. Now the match is completely in favour of India. Jaiswal is playing in the aggressive mode there. The pitch will be more helpful for the bowlers in the upcoming days. India will definitely win the match if they can take a good lead in the first innings. They are already in the front seat of the match.

I don't think like that because Australian International test cricket team is much much stronger than West Indian International Test cricket team. West Indian International test cricket team can't give that target which will be non chase able. West Indians are only hard hitters . They play with strength of their arms but test matches are totally different from T20 matches. West Indians are made for only T20 match. They have to grow their mind to keep patience and after they can win test matches .I like West Indian T20 team but I am very disappointed from current performance of West Indian Cricket team.
I think you understand cricket well so you should keep in mind that sometimes smaller teams play better against bigger teams and win. If we look at the batting performance of the West Indies team in the first Test match, we can see that they have improved tremendously from there. So far they are batting in their first innings and they have scored 266 runs for eight wickets, they will start their batting tomorrow too I think they can touch 300 runs.
As their batting performance has improved in the second test match I think their bowling performance will also improve compared to the first match.

ICC just announced some big stuff.

Pat freaking Cummins : Men's Cricketer of the year
Virat freaking Kohli: Men's ODI Cricketer of the year
Khawaja: Men's Test Cricketer of the year

I completely agree with their choices. Cummins helped his team retain the Ashes, win the 2nd WTC and win the 6th ODI World Cup. Khawaja was exceptional in the test format recently.

On the other hand, Kohli set insane records in the ODI format which probably might never be broken.

The experienced batsmen of England's top order did not bat well today. This is why the England team collected only 246 runs in the first innings. Also looking at the pitch condition I feel the pitch is completely spin friendly. This is why the Indian captain did not use their two experienced pace bowlers well. Experienced bowlers like Mohammad Siraj bowled only 4 overs in the first innings and Bumrah bowled 8.3 overs.

Although captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for just 24 runs, Jaiswal batted very responsibly. Jaiswal remains unbeaten with 76 runs off 70 balls. India collected 119 runs in 23 overs, losing only one wicket.
