Winning the toss and then getting out in just 246 is completely undesirable. Everyone lost their wicket because of their stupidity from the English side except Ben Stokes. He come late down the order but he kept his calmness and only targeted balls that were bad from the bowlers. Indian team looks tight and they would be tomorrow as I am expecting na century from Jaiswal and a half century from Gill.

I was expecting things like these from England because there were too much hype by their Bazball, and they were not trying to understand Indian conditions which are completely different from the Pakistan and their style of Bazball so this 246 is still good for me because I was expecting below 200 from them after winning toss and having batting first.

Stokes give them good relief which bring them to this score now Indian are enjoying good and most chances we will have 450+ which could be huge for them in second inning with wicket will be more turning and for Indian spinners and England batsmen will be not able to play which will bring them down badly so most chances we will have big won for the India in this first test with most chances we will have 4–0 or 5–0 for the India in this series.

Now all the batsmen in the current crease are not reliable players, maybe they can meet the maximum target of 300 runs by the second day. If the target of 300 runs can be given to the Australian team, then the players of the Australian team will not be under pressure.

West Indies team managed to collect 266 runs at the end of the first day. I thought West Indies would lose all wickets before 200. But Kavem Hodge and Joshua De Silva batted well. Indian spin bowlers especially Ravindra Jadeja, Ashwin, Axar bowled well and they took 8 wickets collectively, also Bumrah got 2 wickets. No batsman could collect much except Ben Stokes 77 runs for England. In India's first innings, Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 24 runs in the team's 80 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal can convert his unbeaten 70-ball 76 into a century tomorrow and Shubman Gill will probably try to collect big for the team with him.

I just want to say WTF... Roll Eyes

England team did decent job in their batting and their batting was complete disaster until 2022 in the test format, then only they took Bazball concept and doing extraordinary well in their home and away conditions as well.

Don't confuse ODI and test format and moreover current test squad only have Ben stokes and Mark Wood from WC 2023 and every other players are different.

Ohh no Alzarri Joseph caughtout bowled by Josh Hazelwood.
There were only two balls left but Alzarri Joseph couldn't keep himself safe. If he could defend these two balls today, he would get a chance to bat in the first session on the second day. He started well and was able to add 32 runs to the West Indies score but could not keep himself intact and was caught out by Smith while pushing Hazlewood's ball. Anyway, West Indies got off to a great start in today's second Test and ended the first day with 266 for the loss of 8 wickets.
