As expected we have the worst start of test for Pakistan no batsman able to stay on crease right now we have 9 wickets gone just 189 runs on board debutant Corbin Bosch took 4 wickets while Dane Paterson having career best figures 5 for 52 from here 200 is also looking not possible Mohammad Abbas after three years back into test squad Khurram Shahzad giving him company as both are on crease for having some fun on Boxing Day test match.
Dene Pietersen and Corbin Bosch have both been enough to upset the Pakistan squad and both have picked up nine wickets. Rabada and Marco Johnsen are wicketless so far which means Pakistan are almost all out while both these famous bowlers failed to pick up any wickets. But we did not expect Pakistan to suffer such a batting disaster. It looks like Pakistan will be beaten by South Africa in this Test and they have gone into the break on 209 runs so far. Pakistan's all-out is now only a matter of time.

Finally Marco Jansen gets wickets. Pakistan all out with 211 runs. Can Pakistan all out south Africa before 200?

We have maiden Boxing Day test for Afghanistan and first after 1996 for Zimbabwe at home which is good for them with we have 6 players are playing their first test match of career 3 each from both sides after winning toss we have Zimbabwe batting first which is having decent start of their inning at the end of 47 overs we have 190 for 3 Ben Curran victim of debutant Ghazanfar after 68 then we have another good inning from Takudzwanashe Kaitano 46 now we have Sean Williams 49 and Dion Myers 9 on crease.

Here I want to add ICC take this decision in hurry for giving Afghanistan test status as their no big player interesting to play this we have no big name all youngsters are having spots which are not ideal for the test format and Afghanistan mostly love to play white-ball formats with having good money option for them.

That the reason I put Pakistan ahead from south African before start of the series despite having a very bad history of Pakistan in test format before English series and the only reason behind is thier previous performances and player confidence and moral.
For me it will not be surprising if Pakistan beat thier opponent with a lead of 2-1 or something around it while on the other hand no doubt Afghanistan will have upper hand on Zimbabwe because of thier player potential and experience while in Aussies series things are very unpredictable but looking to recent performance I think Australian will have dominance over thier opponent.
Pakistani team had terrible start of first test, four wickets have gone done in first 19 overs. With this start it will be difficult for Pakistan to make a comeback and save this match. No batsmen so far is able to make it to twenties. SA made a good decision of batting first after winning the toss. I haven't  see the match so can't say much about the pitch but all four wickets were picked by pacers so far. Pakistan need some batsmen to stay on the pitch and score some runs else if wickets keep falling like that then Pakistan first innings total may be restricted to 150.
In last few years, we have Pakistani selectors doing terrible job mostly they are bringing players from ODI and T20I for test matches as well which is bringing down their quality and performance today in first two sessions we have South Africa in complete control of the game currently we have 147 for 6 all top order batsmen gone cheaply we have some resistance from Kamran Ghulam now Salman Agha and Jamal Ashraf on crease.

South African bowlers doing good bowling specially we have debutant Corbin Bosch he is having good start of his career took Shan Masood then inform Saud Shakeel most chances we will be having 225 to 250 runs from Pakistani side which are not enough for them in first inning of their first test match at Centurion.

In White ball cricket too, he played the 2019 ODI World Cup and he was around 37-38 so i would say he played more than enough because you can't expect 40-41 year old to play in the next ODI WC so the transition was natural. Similarly. All transitions are necessary, sometimes players get a kick from the team and the one with the wisdom takes a voluntary respectful retirement.

Yeah, but we were talking about red-ball cricket and the performance of Rohit Sharma in cricket. Some people expect him to retire from test cricket while I believe he could easily serve his team for two more years. Ashwin could do as well, but he decided to retire while he was on the pick. People actually remember the players who retire on their Pick time.

I don't want to Judge Rohit based on just one series performance. He is known as Hitman for his aggressive batting. I know he is 37 already, but he is not too old to play for another two years. If he cannot continue, BCCI will replace him regardless he retires or not.

The match between Pakistan and South Africa is more important for India than both of the teams because if Pakistan lose the game then South Africa will rise in the table of test World Test Championship and at the same time if Pakistan wins it, then India will get good advantage and they will rise in the table while the match also in progress between India and Australia.

Today there are three test games Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan, Pakistan vs South Africa and the last match between Australia and India it is very important game for India and same as Australia. Australia are looking good in that match.

For the first time ever in this series, an Australian batsmen treated Jasprit Bumrah like he is some club bowler. Sam Konstas was exceptional in his debut and he dominated the first session. The Australian selectors did the right thing by dropping non-performing Nathan McSweeney, and then replaced him with Konstas. It worked out very well for them. On the other hand, India is still persisting with non-performers such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. They were even thinking about dropping Nitish Kumar Reddy.
What's really going on with Indian team is it really a joke like seriously a debut player is smashing a legendary bowlers bumrah like pro, despite after several attempt to district them through sledging but still he was focused and some how showed his potential by properly utilized first ever opportunity. Anyway top order really done phenomenal and give a really decent start to his team, no doubt the main consistent head ache T.head luckily got departure by golden duck otherwise things will be much more worse than current for India, but still they already done thier damage and I am pretty sure thier rest of wickets will Atleast get them 400+ digit for his team as a target.

After performing well in the ODI series, Pakistan team faced South Africa in the first Test match today. Pakistan team played very well in the ODI series. They won each match by a big margin. We saw the dominance of Pakistani players in each of the 3 match series.

But the performance of Pakistani players in the first Test match was not as good as expected. I expected a better performance from Pakistani players. Pakistan team lost 3 wickets to collect only 41 runs. Saim Ayub, Babar Azam and Shan Masood none of them could bat well. If Pakistani players cannot bat well in the first innings, then we are probably going to see South Africa's dominance in this match.

Australia is collapsing at the moment and I am expecting the Indians to pack them up within 350-400 once they remove Smith. Bumrah is the star again while Siraj is the bust yet again. Shocker!

Anyway, India will need to bat really well in the first innings if they wish to win/draw this match since the Aussies have the upper hand at the moment. Exciting match.
Steve Smith was unbeaten on 68 and Pat Cummins was unbeaten on 8, meaning Australia were 311 at the end of the first day's play where they lost six wickets. Bumrah is the only bowler to take maximum three wickets and all other bowlers have bowled fairly well except Mohammad Siraj. But if Australia can bat a session on the second day then the runs will reach 400 where it will be difficult for India to draw the match. However, since there has been no interruption of the game due to rain, the result of this match will be win or lose.

On the first day, we did not see any other bowler from the Indian squad bowling well except Bumrah. Bumrah bowled quite well and took three important wickets. Bumrah took the wickets of Usman Khawaja, Travis Head and Marsh. However, the Australian batsmen played very well on the first day. If India cannot start the second day well, then India will be under a lot of pressure in this match. Collecting 400+ in the first innings on this ground in Melbourne is a big collection. The average first innings run on this pitch is 307 runs. So I would say that if Australia collects more than 400, India will not be able to take the lead in the first innings.

Sam Konstas  and Usman Khawaja gave an opening partnership of 89 runs when Sam Konstas was out making 60 runs. He was the main scorer in that partnership but after he left Usman Khawaja also make 57 runs. Marnus Labuschagne made a 72 runs followed by Steven Smith who is still batting on 68. Australia can easily reach 350 and if they stretch a bit, 400+ is on the cards too.
Australia's cricket was two up to 236 but Australia's next four wickets fell to muster 63 runs. However, with only 5 overs left in this session, if no wickets fall after five overs, they will be allowed to bat on the second day even though Australia have already scored over 300 runs. Steve Smith is unbeaten so far and if Smith gets a chance to bat on the second day and can bat a session then the runs will be 400 plus which will be a tough target for India. However, since the pitch condition looks like a batting friendly pitch, India will be able to bat comfortably for the time being.

The Australian team has been able to play very well at the end of the first day. The Australian team has scored 311 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. I cannot call this a bad performance. Australia lost their third wicket for 237 runs and Australia lost their fifth wicket for 246 runs. Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh could not bat well. If these two batsmen had played well, Australia could have scored 450+ in their first innings. Even then, since there are still two experienced batsmen like Steven Smith and Cummins at the crease, I do not think it will be difficult for Australia to score 400+.

So at stumps Australia are 311 for 6 wickets down. I understand that after Marnus Labuschagne lost this wicket when the Australia were 237-3, they started to lose some few quick wickets. We saw Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh gone quickly and all of sudden Australian scored card looked 246-5. Steven Smith steady the innings after that and he is still playing.

However I still stand on my opinion that Australia will cross 350 - 400 runs if Steven Smith do not get out early morning, Australia just have to play the first session, and they will be in a strong position in this test match.

When Labuschagne got out, it reminded me of IPL where set batters get out soon after the strategic timeout.

I am glad Head threw away his wicket, real bad judgement on his part, and the cheers in the stadium when he got out, he has really etched himself in Indian fans hearts   Grin

Siraj's spot could be given to someone else imo, he's not that good and looks like waste of spot at times.

I was surprised they benched Gill, he might not have made any milestone in previous matches but he looked in touch.

Australia is batting well against India today, especially their opening batting was excellent. Every batsman played well and scored well, if Australia sets a target of 450+ runs in their first innings, it will be a big target for India. Australia has lost only two wickets at the moment, although India is trying to improve its bowling performance at the moment, but the Australian batsmen are batting with great patience. Australia has scored 226 runs at the moment, the two who are in the partnership are batting very well and playing hard.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat. But every batsman in the top order batted very well. However, the two important batsmen in the middle order, Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head, were not able to bat well. Even then, Australia managed to collect 300+ for the loss of 6 wickets. Steven Smith is still unbeaten with 68 runs.

Indian bowlers are not able to do well as expected. All 4 batsmen in the top order of Australia have collected 50+ each. Sam Konstas was able to collect 60 runs, Usman Khawaja was able to collect 57 runs and Marnus Labuschagne was able to collect 72 runs. Jasprit Bumrah was able to take 3 wickets among the Indian bowlers. Apart from that, no other bowler was able to bowl well.

India vs. Australia 4th test match has begun. The Australia team has won the toss and decided to bat. They have started strong as Khwaja and Konstas have planned to stand wicket. In 9 overs, the Australian team has scored 37 runs without losing wickets. Bumrah and Siraj have opened the spell for India. This looks like a match in complete control with the Australia team. In a test match, anything could happen, and I believe the Australian team is going to win the match. Let's see what's happening as the match has just started and a drinks break has been taken.

Australia choose to bat first and how well they played this game. Scoring from the top is always good and the Australian batting just did that. The top four batsmen made 50+ each and that set the tone for this innings.

In the 4th Test match between Australia vs India, Australia team has come out to bat for the 1st Innings. They have scored 140 runs in 38.4 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Now let's see how many runs the Australian team batsmen can score in the 1st Innings. Sam Konstas was dismissed for 60 runs off 65 balls. India team's bowler Ravindra Jadeja took 1 wicket for 20 runs in 4.1 overs.
Australia is now in the third session which means if Australia continues to bat like this today then it will easily reach 350 plus runs. Although the first wicket fell at 89 runs and the second wicket at 158 runs from then on Smith and Labuschagne were trying to get the team to a big score. This Test is a little different from the previous three Test matches especially the batting disaster has not been noticed so far i.e. if Australia can score big then India will try to score big in reply.
