South Africa tour of Bangladesh

Another test series is going to start tomorrow. Already two test series are running between India and New Zealand and the second one is between Pakistan and England. But from tomorrow the series between Bangladesh and South Africa is going to start. Just some time before Bangladesh team whitewashed by the India team across all formats including test matches, one day matches and also in T20 matches. Now that is why I think once again they are going to lose this game but at the same time 13 to 14 days ago South Africa lost a one day match against Ireland so expect the unexpected too

Both teams having bad results in their last series, South Africa won against West Indies in August but lost two test matches against New Zealand.

Indian International test cricket team lose the match and they played very bad in first inning and that was the reason of their lose. If Indian cricket team could make 200 plus runs in first inning,they could win this match but I will give credit to New Zealand bowlers who took early wickets and applied pressure on Indian team. Indian team lose wickets back to back and New Zealand team played very well and made 402 runs in first inning and they became favorite for this match and after that 90 percent situation was in the favor of New Zealand and they won this match easily by 8 wickets rather Indian team played very well in second inning and they could give only 107 runs target for this match.

India may have lost all the wickets before they realized in the first innings that they had no chance. Their performance in the 2nd innings was so good that they scored much more than New Zealand. I won't blame their players for such situations because an accident can happen anytime. India managed to score 46 runs in the 1st innings while New Zealand scored 402 in the 1st innings. India could not secure the match win despite scoring 462 runs in the innings due to a big difference and the mistakes of the first innings, they had to forget the match itself. However, it is not possible to get such an opportunity in the 2nd and 3rd Test, In my prediction India can win the Test series by winning the next two matches.

I agree with you. The batting disaster of India's batsmen in the first innings was the main reason for the loss of this Test. Besides, Kohli, Sarfaraz Khan and Pant have batted well, among which Sarfaraz Khan's innings of 150 runs from 195 balls has given the Indian team a very good backup. I will specifically mention Kohli who scored very quickly in Tests and scored 70 off 102 balls which was a one-day style of batting for him. Pant on the other hand gave T20 style batting he was able to play a blistering innings of 99 runs off 105 balls but he should have been more patient and tended to score centuries. Overall, the Indian team batted well in the second innings but the New Zealand team was very confident of winning resulting in a huge 8 wicket win.

Moving forward, i think India would win the next test match and since India lost this test, we may get good odds for betting on India. This would not be the case if India had won this match, then bookies would have offered much lower odds for India. Its like grabbing the opportunity at the right time. Wink

It was the first test victory for the Kiwis in India after 36 years and they did it in style. Congrats to them, this outfit must be a happy bunch and maybe they can do the impossible in this series and create history.

One could argue that Rohit going with 2 seamers only on a spicy seam wicket is the main trigger point but you have to give credit to the Kiwis. The way they bowled in the first inning was some quality spell of seam bowling and in the second Indian inning, their seamer came back hard with a new ball and made a difference again.

But 1 major key difference for me in this match was Rachin Ravindra. His partnership with the Southee did more damage than 46 all out. This partnership was the reason India had a 350-run deficit instead of 200.

For now, the Kiwis need only 72 more runs and they have eight wickets in hand. The outfield was wet this morning as well, not sure if that is going to help the bowlers.
