I have to say the way Bangladesh played in the first innings was really unbelievable. I have never seen a more sorry-looking batting card and also a great performance from them at the same time. 2 of the Bangladeshi batsmen did almost all the scoring.

Yes, they have proved that without a very significant performance from Shakib Al Hasan they can hold their own. But I am expecting a good performance from Shakib Al Hasan in the bowling department otherwise I am quite shared that this match also is going to end up in a draw.

Musfiqur Rahim unbeaten 175 runs and Liton 141 assists Bangladesh 365 on the score board. Sri Lanka made a solid start and Bangladeshi bowlers only able to take two wickets in the evening session. SL will trail 222 more runs, and they have eight wickets in hands. Karunaratne complete the second day on 70 runs, and most certainly looking centuries in the third day.

I think, 2nd Test match will be also drawn. Srilanka batsman doing very well like 1st test match.They have good start batting also.But Bangladeshi bowlers didn’t take too wicket. If Bangladeshi bowlers can take wicket early in 3rd day then i Think this test match would result different. What do you think,This test match will be a draw or Which team will win?

Out of 11 batsmen, 6 batsmen of Bangladesh could not collect any run. The collections of Shanto, Mominul and Taizul are 8, 9 and 15 respectively. Bangladesh scored 365 runs based on the performance of Liton and Mushfiqur alone. While this is a good enough collection, but no other player has played well except Mushfiqur and Liton. It is both frustrating and embarrassing. I am waiting to see how the Bangladeshi bowlers perform.

Mirpur's pitch is not a batting-friendly pitch. This helps the spinners quite well. 365 runs was not a bad collection. We know this from the irregular performance of Bangladeshi batsmen in the Test format. However, it is a shame that 6 batsmen will return to the dressing room with zero runs. However, if the bowler is able to play well, Bangladesh has a chance to win this match.

Litton Das has been performing consistently for some time. How is the pitch behaving this time? I didn't watched on TV, and just followed the scores. But given the fact that pacers Kasun Rajitha and Asitha Fernando got most of the wickets, I am assuming that the track is slightly favoring pacers this time. I expect Bangladesh to reach a total of 350-400 by today EOD. They need to get Sri Lanka out for less than 250, else this match will also end up as another boring draw. Mushfiqur and Liton have consistently played well in the Test format. The performance and pairing of these two batsmen in the last few Test series has been excellent. Mominul is disappointing again and again. Besides, openers should start well to improve overall performance.

During the seventh over Bangladesh lost its 5th wicket scoring just 24 runs. From that such a big score and the partnership is well maintained. Mushfiqur Rahim and Litton Das managed the situation well and they have played real test cricket. When there is continued fall of wickets players try to score as much possible believing that the pitch is supportive to bowling. End of the day Bangladesh have dominated the match with the increase in the winning probability.

It is impossible to make predictions about the performance of Bangladesh team. Especially when they play at home ground or Mirpur. After losing 5 wickets for 24 runs, we all thought that Bangladesh team would be able to collect 120 runs. But at the end of the day we can see that Bangladesh has collected 277 runs, and they have not lost a single wicket. If the first session tomorrow is under the control of Bangladeshi batsmen, then Bangladesh will be able to make a big collection. However, without Mushfiqur and Liton at the crease, Bangladesh's innings will not be long lasting. There are no more experienced batsmen in the squad.

What a recovery, 5/24 and then 253 runs partnership that has placed Bangladesh in very good position in this test match. Srilanka started well but wasn't able to capitalise the initial advantage they got. Litton Das 88 runs in last match and century again, he is having a good series.
