Development is still moving forward with good speed it looking this project will deliver very soon. Let's see what future will bring although this is still risky investment with some unresolved issues but I would like to keep trust into this project.

the T2 foundation mentioned on twitter they are working to integrate Ledger for storage and baking of Tezos. Hopefully this comes up with the release!

I understand people's frustrations completely regarding Tezos. So I can see why the community have attempted to take matters into their own hands. 

I do think they have miss-managed the project I just think they underestimated the popularity of the project due to the big names giving it too much hype.
(I  believe they opened the ICO too earlier to the project's execution. Look at Ethereum, initial project plans were releassed with 8 months notice before ICO started then 12 months before the blockchain was released.)

What a time to enter the market eh? Not sure if waiting would be okay, now that coin is so low in value Tezos will more easily stand out and will grow with the rest of the market to new heights. This may be the time to get more name recognition.

Tezos community has forked

with all the donations held hostage by tezos foundation, tezos community has organized a new entity to create a t2 foundation, which will launch the network. the board includes people that actually care about tezos' future such as olaf carlson-wee from polychain. there will not be another ico, all contributions will be honored, including sub-threshold ones. tezos foundation will not receive their 10% of tokens, those will be held in reserve.

Well finally it is February. Will the team have MainNet ready this month? Even though I truly hope that they will soon have a release, the current bear market might not be the the best "momentum" for this long awaited release.

If it were up to me, they should wait for the next bullmarket.

The dollar ratio would be low if released now that´s true. But I don´t think btc wise would be harmed too much

I am invested in tezos, and i eagerly await it to come live. however, I do not reckon the team rushes it, especially now that the market is all down.

My god people,  just chill and wait.    You wouldn't want Tezos to release in a down market,  this would be the absolute worst time to release unless you did not actually invest.   So 2 camps.  Invested and non invested.    Anyone who actually has a good chunk of money in this is willing to wait it out and when the project is ready,  it will be released.     The non invested, want it released now in a down market to get cheap coins.   

I'll wait as long as it takes to ensure my investment is in the black.

This discussion is so unbelievable sad. One of the biggest ICOs, a really good idea, and now every investor is waiting for anything, something. If this project is not about to get realized, it would be a big disaster.

Don´t get me wrong, i´m full of hope that they catch Gevers, and starting what they, and we were expecting. But over that it is just very sad. So much money...

I'm really hoping tezos tanks during the release because of the major sell off. Great time to buy and innovation seems to shine during blood baths.

Do you mean you need 10k to bake yourself? I think you can have a delegator bake any amount but not sure, can someone explain?

definetly. and not only their main github. there is lot going on. I read "baking" needs 10k Tezos is this right? thought it was 5k
