Because the very reason to have a contract is so the law can enforce it ..
If i force you to sign a contract and put it on the blockchain     if no law what happens ?..

I seriously don't think most people who were forced to hold for an entire year to be happy with 3x gains.

Ok so it is quite safe to expect a good number of people to take profit when it launches in that price range.

If it launched at $5 at today's btc price those selling tezos would gain about 3x in bitcoin value.

Any data as to what the average price for investors was? Haven't been following this a lot but it seems that there would be massive instant profit if it lists at $5?

Tezos is an impressive project, waiting for a big pump at the end of this year. I bought some on HitBTC exchange, hope this will bring a big profit by holding 

 the technology of TEZOS is very good. Marketing is not doing very well at the moment. I believe the project team will strengthen this effort later.

That's one of those things that we need to securely kept even it seems that a project had a very long way of providing the technology that they are working. I don't think how tezos will take action on that first its a human and own mistakes of not keeping it. Thus, it very hard to access and cannot be reset if you cant open it.

It should be round the corner that official announcement for beta launch now. We are already in June and most probably during work days we will have that most awaited news whenever will be. Many people didn't keep their passphrases safe and are facing troubles now. One of my friends also can't find his password anymore. This is going to be seen widely in coming days.
