That day when bitcoin hits 50,000, and this topic wil be replied and honored by the new folks whom are new to Bitcoin by then, the day when multiple countries have the coin in use in shops and services, the day when you get paid 0.05 BTC a month for a fulltime job, what will you do with your precious coins? when this appears on your screen...

$50,023(+0.12%)
1 BTC

Will you hold them with the knowledge of becoming a millionaire, or a multi-multi millionaire? Or wil you find it enough and trade some or most of your precious, precious coins for money to buy something really big, or use it to start up your own big company?

For me, I will keep them. I might only sell a tiny bit if I would like to make a purchase of something, but for the rest I would keep all the coins knowing that 50,000.- is just the start of a new beginning (just like 2017's 2700 compared to 2014's 200.- already)

I am curious what you will do that day, when this post gets replied and all those people wish they started in the time that we did. The day when you, me and all other Bitcoin buyers basically have won the lottery, what will you do?

It is unbelievable if the day is real. Imagine if you owned 1 BTC, you could buy everything. But toio thinks this will not become a reality because when Bitcoin reaches a recent peak, they have been looking for ways to keep its value from rising again, if it continues to rise so the market will be unstable, coin Depreciation and bitcoin money will become scarce. So $ 50,000 for a Bitcoin is impossible without a monetary revolution.

If you already know that it will hit 50,000$ why would you even sell it now,
I think it would take to many years to see it hit that high .

Definitely possible considering how a distribution of wealth works and the limited supply of 21 million.

Maybe in the future when/if it does reach $50,000 per Bitcoin, will we even be measuring with dollars?  Grin

When this day comes, I will hold half of my funds and sell the rest to get the profit in fiat. This way I continue in the game, but I can enjoy the profit if something bad happens to the price of Bitcoin next.

It's very possible to happen, but it will take more than 10 years in my opinion...

I think that price is so high so maybe when bitcoin hit that price no one can say for that. As of now i will enjoy the bitcoin price and i will convert some of my bitcoin into cash but some i hold it for the next rocking of bitcoin.

That is always a good way of investment. We shouldn't hold any investment forever by thinking that prices may go even higher and higher. Because times due to some unknown reasons prices may fall down and we may need to wait for very long time to see higher prices. That's booking some of the profits now and then will be good and we may get a chance to buy again lower prices because bitcoin prices are more volatile.

It could happen. Bitcoin has an excellent price movement. We do not know what will happen in the future. Just look at the current price movement bitcoin can reach hundreds of percent in just a few months. So this is not a dream, everything can come true. We're just waiting for the right time for bitcoin.

Yes I considered that 2500 is a very big salary, but I also took in mind that Bitcoin would make the world a better place making the salarys way better (like decades ago). A lot of people will sell at prices like 5000 or even 10,000 but in the end the smiling third will be the folks who kept their bitcoins all along, since 0,10 USD, since 10 USD, since 100 USD, or even since 1000 USD or more, when the prices hits 50,000 because I am deeply convinced that it will happen sooner than one might would expect. The big qeustion then is: are you strong enough to keep them even then, because it wil still double, triple, quadrupple, zripple or anything higher.

OK, that was a good part about the full time job getting paid 0.05, it's like you don't know there are some people

Getting paid less right now for their full time job salary, when price hits $50,000 I doubt that if I'm alive, you are even

More passionate than Satoshi himself, the way you say precious coins. Smiley

For now I'm not doing anything no buy and no sell, bought when price was $2500 and going to hold another week if price

Is not up by then I will keep holding until price goes higher than my bought price.

The day when BTC hits $50 000, Satoshi himself will come down from mount Ararat and greet us - his faithful acolytes in this thread. He'll also be giving free BTC to all the true believers.

Do you think it's possible that BTC will one day be worth $1 000 000, without huge inflation of the dollar?

Yes, a couple more years sounds very realistic to me too. Especially when these countries are joining at the moment. Oh my bad changed the period. Time will only be shorten by these big steps in the future of Bitcoin, including the comming Segwit activation.

If the price of bitcoin really reaches those valuation one thing is sure,i wont be holding much coins because i will be selling off everything before that,we really have a scaling issue at hand and first we have to sort those things first to think about more investors coming in and thereby thinking about breaking new records, until then i would not dream about these valuations, because i really like to have some realistic values.

Ah yes, this scaling issue is another concern right now. But I think Segwit activation this coming July 1 is really something to watch. After the activation, we will know how the community reacts. it may shoot the bitcoin price to another all time high or slump.

On my screen, hopefully there will be a comma ($50,000) rather than a period.  That sooo makes it look like it's at $50.  But other than that, I'll be a walking hard-on just like usual when bitcoin is big bucks.  And I do believe we'll get there, though we still have that 25X hoop to jump through.  I predict it'll be a couple more years at least.  Gotta keep optimistic.

I noticed that too, but I think a comma is used in their country and its quite normal to them. But for us who are not used with it, its something like $50.00 Smiley

If it really $50,000 I will sell half of my holding and wait  until 2030's to which some investors predicts bitcoin to be $500,000n Grin who knows.

Damn. It's better to leave my mark in here.

HELLO GUYS FROM THE FUTURE!

Also, why would you sell your Bitcoins when they are worth $50k if you can use them anywhere? As you said, every shop accepts bitcoin as a method of payment. No more selling "digital currencies" for the "real money" called Dollar. Bitcoin IS the real money. LONG LIVE BITCOIN!

Btw, imagine if in the future each Bitcoin are actually worth $1m each. We will be laughing about such low value you are predicting...

Exactly, thats why I even keep them at 50.000.-, like i said, its even by then still just the start of a new beginning (just like 2017's 2700 compared to 2014's 200.- already will 50.000 be nothing compared to the 1m predicted by the guy above) Bitcoin is the only real money

That day when bitcoin hits 50.000, and this topic wil be replied and honored
I wouldn't jump to such conclusions Wink, Bitcoin will hit $100000 per 1 BTC, its only matter of time, nothing else. Its easy to make such predictions because you are always at least 50% right without specifying time frame.
Anyway, good topic to use your imagination.
