For 1 Bitcoin to be worth $1,000,000, the total market cap of Bitcoin would have to be $21 trillion dollars. What are the odds of this happening?

For reference, the amount of physical $dollars and coins in circulation are around $1.2 trillion. The global M2 money supply of all currencies are around $45 trillion. The market cap of all mined gold is around $7 trillion.

Will 1 Bitcoin be worth a million dollars? Half a million? Thoughts?
It would be really something if the Bitcoin price was at $1,000,000 but we know that that is not going to happen because it just does not seem possible.
I am already fine with the price ending up somewhere in the thousands.

The million Dollar Bitcoin does not exist and I do not believe that it ever is going to be created because it just does not make sense.
If the price was a million Dolar then all the users would sell there coins I am sure of that.

The $1 Million Dollar Bitcoin will be seen in 20 to 50 year's time. It depends on the continuous development of bitcoin.
I think even in the future its very impossible to happen in the future the price of bitcoin is always depends in supply and demand..

So its impossible to happen.. but if we are lucky that it will happen i will start a new business online and buy some house and lots..

That price is so impossible because if that happens i think it will last for just seconds because many users will sell all their coins like crazy. But let be honest even hundred years or thousands it will be so impossible for bitcoin to reach that because after more or less hundred years bitcoin will abandoned because of the mining difficulty is extremely high.
It could happen I think but that time the value of $1 million dollars will not be the same value as today, the figures does not really count but the value is really important when it comes to valuation of money.

I wish to see that happen but it seems like it was just a fantasy, although that is good but too unrealistic for me. I would already be happy even if I will see only a price of $10,000.
I agree, but 10'000 seems a bit low for me. Something like 30'000$ would be more realistic if mass adoption occurs. But we are still way too pessimistic for some people  Grin

We really need a big amount of demand from users to reach that amount. And to achieve such demand we need a billion of bitcoin subscribers to circulate the coin.

Even if there are billions of users, Bitcoin would need to constitute 1/3 of total global money supply for that to happen.
That does sound like it is asking for too much.
Yeah your right i cant imagine that it will happen in the future.. and its over valued for bitcoin.. and bitcoin is just a digital currency not a gold or
A big business.
Exactly, but it would be good to imagine that unrealistic projection to happen, as a newbie we can use this to lure them to invest in bitcoin to get more adoption that would help the community increase its volume.

People are hoping for something like this to happen and I also would find it not bad if it happened but I like to stay realistic as well.
I do not think that the price is ever going to be in the millions.

It can go in future, totally depends on the market cap and adoption level, as anything is possible with bitcoin, but it will take long time to reach there for sure.

Nothing is impossible with bitcoin because it is a full of surprises, if that will happen then we the early adopters will dominate the world and we will replace Bill Gates on the list. I hope my dream will come true.

Bitcoin is not going to be that high value and that is because it will takes also long time until it will even reach the $600 so we must not be greedy and just have patience for it.
But it will be really hard indeed what will happen in the future and that is the risky thing.
