yes.I think slowly the trend will change and campaigns will have to pay real money to hunters for the work done. be it using btc or any other stable coin then it will be worth the bounty hunters' efforts to promote their project.

You're title is kinda misleading TBH.

You are saying that the bounty campaign scam as a whole will gradually go away but in your post you are just saying social media platforms that are being used in the campaign.
Now regarding to what you are saying. Bounty scams will always be there. The only reason that I see that will cause these scams to get removed is to remove the bounty campaign as a whole.

project fraud will never go away in this industry as long as there are bounty hunters in it. they use this forum as a free advertising service for their project. and bounty hunters one of the middlemen to promote their project. So, I don't think that project fraud will disappear completely.

yeah at least that's not bad, rather than promoting some of the twitter campaigns out there and not necessarily even paying you. i saw there are many bounty hunters taking part in twitter campaigns in the service section and it is good because the payment is using BTC.
On the other hand, I think the Scam project will not disappear, which is for sure the scamers will always be around us, because Scammers already know that the crypto industry is a place where they can make money easily but in the wrong way.

Bounty scams will gradually go away but it will take time. The bounty managers should make proper investigation about a project before promoting it and on the other hand bounty hunters should also make their own research before joining any campaign to avoid promoting scams.

A thorough due diligence from bounty managers is definitely a big step in the right direction, but this wont completely eliminate fraudulent bounty campaigns. There will always be bounty managers that will ignore certain red flags just to earn some additional income, there is no way around it, it is on campaign participants to weed out those bad apples.

I agree with you that the bounty scam will be reduced gradually. Some of our forum members are fighting against scammers constantly. But we must be alert all time. Because scammers will not sit still. They are always trying to find new ways to scam people. At present their preferred way is DeFi projects or ICO. So we have to be careful about this.
Bounties will still be there, all the Scammers are trying out these Bounties as a means of getting free advertising as once they will be finished with the project then these Scammers will not be paying the participants any money because the same has actually happened here in the past as well. So the same can happen in the future as well don't you think?? I just hope that these scams going on in the name of DeFi will be reduced in the future.
Expect the unexpected yet this would surely happen in the DeFi market where scams would become common just like on what happened into ICO.Scammers will be scammers and once they do able to spot out
on making money by scamming then they will surely jump into the trend.

Its hard to believe that scams will gradually go away yet as long this market involves money then do expect for these criminal minds to exist no matter what. This is why we should really be careful not only
to those investors but also even on to those who do bounties.

Its hard to spot out a legit project yet majority of them are on the same scheme, they look legit but they are totally garbage in the end.

I don't see how bounty scam will gradually go away because not all project team are sincere or have reputations to protect, this have make bounty hunters to have less respect in crypto space, new projects seek for bounty hunters to create awareness for their new projects but when it comes to paying they show their real colors.

The only solution to bounty scam is escrowed and this is only what good bounty platforms or bounty managers should introduce to atleast limit disappointments of not getting paid
Escrowing the funds could be the best solution but if the owners of the bounty campaign are holding the escrowed funds then we are facing the same problem, so we need a third party to escrow the funds but as long as bounty hunters keep accepting terrible work conditions for themselves this is never going to happen, I really think people need to stand up and defend themselves and if a bounty campaign does not offer some minimum conditions then people should not join it.

It seems that this issue has been discussed several times, but until now there has not been a good system to get rid of fraudulent projects, even until now I still find fraudulent projects in the gift thread, there are even projects that have no capital. and dare to run it, far compared to the previous year ..

I hope this is not nonsense and is really done to eradicate fraud smelling projects ..

And there will never be, this is just the reality, remember people want decentralization where there is no regulation or control, so just take it as the price you pay for a decentralize space, projects are free to enter and exit the market at their very own convenient, if you want a good system to be introduce to get rid of all the fake and scam project then it means you will accept regulation and control, because any project is not accountable for their actions is the reason why you see this many scam, project scam investors and hunters alike, this is like a battle field, survival for the fittest. Cool

If the system can be changed I am sure that it will return to the way it used to be, if all there is a will and even now it will be fine, indeed the fraudulent project has been around for a long time but do you think, if the current project is prioritizing for its own pocket compared to raise the bounty hunter / investor community, even if there is testing in advance or using Escrow, for a bounty project that wants to promote in the bounty thread, must have sufficient capital or have a trustworthy team.

If you see the reward thread as a battle arena, then your thinking is not very broad, at least there is prevention even though it is very difficult, but it's better to give action even if not at all ..

project scams will always be around, let alone the crypto industry is full of money. Yes, I do agree that Twitter bounty payments in BTC are popping up and I believe one of the main reasons it works even now is because some trusted managers here are handling it. like Hhampuz & Yahooo62278

bounty scams will always be on this forum and scamerrs are always around us. so stay alert. as bounty hunters we can still avoid it by not promoting suspicious projects. use your time well and get out if you think the project you are promoting is suspicious.
Not only scammers around us, legit projects also but not in legit ways. The Legit project also doesn't want to distribute their coins. Still, I don't have any clue why and how these projects change their rules after the complete funds rise. Like PayAccept didn't pay the bounty manager but still this forum supports it.

Unfortunately, it is the fact. We cannot deny their existence. They will be always there and wait for the right time to scam people. Bounty isn't a job that protected by the government, so there should be many chances for scammers there.

as bounty hunters we can still avoid it by not promoting suspicious projects.
Indeed. You also must avoid promoting a project that has a problem in this forum. If we have a good intention to fight with scammers, just avoid anything that supports them.

So you can see because of their these scams now their projects are failing one by one, if they will be sincere with their promoters and will pay what they promise, then in the future people will trust projects and all of the projects will get success.

The only solution to bounty scam is escrowed and this is only what good bounty platforms or bounty managers should introduce to atleast limit disappointments of not getting paid
Yes they have to escrow but to make sure that they escrow in BTC or any other coin which is actively traded on good exchanges as many times they pay in their coins but they do not list their coins and the bounty hunters do not get for what they work hard. So they have to escrow as a security which will be returned after paying to bounty hunters successfully in their tokens and the tokens are listed.

Scam bounties will always be amongst us in crypto space, DeFi projects are reigning now and just take a look at bounties section of this forum, you will see many DeFi projects that come out of nowhere, 99% of them are rubbish, I was able to spot DIA DeFi, oikos DeFi, Ferrum and Lattice Exchange because they are just different from the rest, make sure you are picky

bounty project scams will never go away in this industry, every day new projects appear and also every day there are always fraudulent projects being exposed. As a bounty hunter you should always be alert before joining a bounty project and if you are a project investor, invest your money properly. and not by investing in bad projects.

You're make it complicated, it's still social media campaign as we see in bounty program... It just different on the payment.

Yes, I personally think it is no different from other bonus programs, simply that they promise to pay in btc or eth instead of the project's coins.
However if it's a scam, I'm sure no one can get any money from them.
