Yes. That's right, Twitter is one of the social media that is generally used by many people and can be used as a campaign activity whatever the name is.

In my opinion, this can be minimized only by experienced managers by asking participants to follow several applicable terms and conditions even though the payment varies using either BTC or other Tokens

Actually, some devs believe we can't rely on their coins or they don't want to lose the value of their coins. I can't find the difference between BTC payment or coins payment campaign. BTC payment or Ethereum payment project also can scam hunters by changing rules several times. To change the rules every time hunters will gradually decrease.

i insist that the scam bounties will never go away. Rather, hunters should try as much as possible to do away with suspicious projects. easy ways to figure out scam bounties are projects with unknown developers, Newly created accounts. ,medium, twitter, facebook and linkedin. most new campaigns here are fresh projects with little or No background on crypto.

I also want it to happen but one thing is for sure bounty scam wouldn't really go away as long as there are hunters and investor who would fall on it then they would continue to do it and create more projects.
The only thing that we could do is to educate ourselves so we wouldn't fall or participate on those project.
Sad to say but we are the ones who are to blame for it because we continue to invest and cooperate with them because we are lazy to do a proper checking on projects that we would join or invest.

There are many ways to cheater a bounty even though the requirements are strict only bounty manager can erase all of it If the manager checks all the participants carefully, the impostor will be caught and an effective solution to avoid cheater on the spreen sheet is POA from there it can distinguish the real account or not

Actually we lost so many campaigns that distributed BTC payment. Even the same for signature campaign. If you follow some campaigns from now to two years, then you will find that most of them are dead. Although the same projects amount is always high, I'm seeing that continuously coinmarketcap listed coins are increasing 2k, 3k 4k. Some legit projects still survive.

This is all because most of these companies were created only to quickly make money on the hype. Most developers did not set any goals other than to simulate the creation of the project and earn money. The only difference is that someone gave money to investors, and someone cheated everyone and stole other people's money.

The bounty scam will be difficult to lose if there are still bounty hunter participants who participate in it, but as time goes by, bounty hunters are now very clever in choosing bounties that will be successful, I hope there will be a special team to select the bounties that will promote this diforum.

I participated in bounty campaigns in 2017 and started participating now. Then it was possible to get several thousand dollars from each campaign, but now it is very difficult to do this, primarily because of scammers.
Theres no permanent in this world, i agree that aidrops and bounties before are really worth it to join in unlike now that most bounties will only waste your time.

This was new at the time, and perhaps this is why the bounty campaign rewards were so great. Now everything has become much cheaper. Yes, and it would be cheaper. There are so many scammers around that the share of honest projects among them is no more than 10%.

Completely tired of project and bounty managers who don't value bounty hunters, doing work every day for several months and they ignore it without paying what they say. I hope there is protection or a good system for bounty hunters so that we can work safely without worrying that they will pay or not.

Everyone wants that to happened, there are threads that being discussed about having secure escrows and yet
unable to execute, there are still many bounty offered that being supported by hunters even they are keep experiencing same scams.

It's the hunters that should protect themselves, by doing good and more advanced research
regarding to the project before participating will provide much better chances to be well compensated.

In this case, of course, the prize manager is not 100% related to the occurrence of fraudulent campaigns, because  I think the manager never wants to handle a fraudulent project, and this will certainly tarnish the manager's name in the forum and this will certainly give negative confidence in the manager. ,
Most managers only handle a project until the project is completed and usually the problem of payment will be handled by the project team if the project is indeed cheating on bounty hunters, of course the manager will also not get paid at all, so, we completely can't blame the manager when he doesn't get paid of a bounty project.

twitter campaigns that pays in btc are already been there ever since before and not just by this month or this year but bounty scam are also been there , twitter or some sort of social media campaigns did not totally solve them . social media campaigns that pays in btc are short duration only so if those were gone people will go back applying on bounties again .

twitter campaign on service board have taken a long rest before but they only bring it back maybe because they want to clear the reputation of twitter in regards to the hacking and scamming that happen on the said platform
If bounty hunters as a group demanded to be paid in coins that already hold value then this could solve the issue of scam bounty campaigns as now the scammers will think about it twice before trying a scam as it will cost them money in order to try to pull something, but this is never going to happen, for every bounty hunter not willing to accept useless coins there are probably ten that are happy to accept those coins with the vain hope that at some point in the future those coins will be worth a fortune.

Don't really understand what the problem is about social media campaigns like twitter eliminating the bounty scam, can that really be proven?

Prior to this time, there have been many social campaigns in the past and that does not remove bounties or scam projects. If the campaign is run using Bitcoin then obviously I think it will guarantee a legit project, but if the payment will still involve their own token even though the campaign is done using Twitter, I personally would still doubt it.
Well sometimes it still depends on the manager that handles the campaign.
There has been many incidents of fake campaigns in the past, that's why escrow is pretty much recommended when a manager is simply new to handling these unless he/she wants to be questioned which is just a natural thing to happen anyway.

Now social media bounty which pays with Bitcoin are posted in the service section and only tokens payment bounties have been posting in the bounties section. Bounty hunters will do bounty as it is their income source but recently we have observed that many projects even successful projects cheated with bounty hunters. If such cheating will continue, it is time to unite the bounty managers to bring bounties with escrew where tokens will remain reserve and hunters will be paid after campaign ended from escrew otherwise bounty should be stopped.

Scammers can scam you regardless of payment options. It is yet to be understood that without hunters there is no community, without community there is no successful project.

Nice post.this is the Chain of crypto marketing in which Hunters, owners and community needed each other to become successful .

Hunters are always been blamed but the truth they are the true victim here regardless of those cheaters that using multiple accounts because they are doing the Job required by owners.

and project are successful most of the time, but the winner is the developer and the hunter is either being scammed or paid like a slave.

Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.
There are some lets say SOPs if applied we can get scam free bounties.
1) The bounty manager should be responsible about the authenticity of the project he is about to promote. He should do all the research and due diligence.
2) The reward tokens should be escrowed or sent to bounty manager in advance before campaign ends.
3) Bounty hunters should be more responsible and study each project and claim and immediately report if they find any red flags.
4) Paying in stablecoins or top coins is the ideal thing but most projects will not follow this so all we should look to do is that we make sure that the reward tokens are distributed to everyone.
5) If the team or bounty manager seems lagging or careless during the campaign hunters should stop participating in such a campaign further.

By following these points we can make sure that we are promoting the right project and fake projects will be discouraged.

It is highly unlikely for scams like these will go away. Especially now that there are more hunters out there that are willing to take up job because of the pandemic. Overall i just feel bad for hunters that spent their time on these scams.
Many hunters that will not do research if they are working on scammers and many developers who can create a project that looks like a good project, they have no problem with promoters since they already have a lot fo bounty hunters who will work for them in exchange for free pennies or none at all, in fact, these scammers are scamming bounty hunters and investors.
I think it is difficult to determine whether a project is a scam or not because so far sometimes the project will have many ways to keep their true goals hidden, it's better to be careful when participating in a bounty campaign or participating in a coin offer, you better can collect all the projects that have occurred scams and record all the teams that have been scams so you can have important records and can find out whether the project team is indicated as a scam or not, so maybe that method can help you to find out whether the project is good or not.

It's really frustrating that after many months of supporting the project it ended up with nothing. Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks before joining in the campaign to make sure that the project are legitimate. We just need to accept the fact that in crypto world we need to be wise and analyze it properly. There's a lot ot scammers and we must do our job to make research about the project. Its good to know that the action like this take place to help eliminate the bounty scam.

Gladly it's now starting to be swept away mate, and if scammers tried to have an attempt they'll easily be determined through validations, and feedbacks from social media. That's the very powerful tool for us to unmask those criminals here in anonymous world of crypto. We must have an effort to support our fellow members here, and don't let scammers destroy our built foundation in just one glance.
It's too late, I think, because the main trust of large banks and investors has already been undermined by the abundance of scams that fell on the ICO in 2017-2018. Now this is the only way, few have remained in the subject, and even then they all want to deceive each other. At this level, it is very difficult for a cryptocurrency to develop and be introduced into our daily life.
