From a lot of gambling stories I've heard, this is really common. There are some wives that still accepts their husbands even after what happened but most of them time they leave them. They deserve it, but I am really happy to see some of them to still accept their husbands even if they are addicted to gambling.

If we really love our family, it is time to focus more unto them and not only think of ourselves. We made a family because we love each other not because you can just use a woman and use her to multiply. They must be loved and must be taken care of especially when we already have some siblings to take care of.

Well, responsibility always make sense and in gambling there is nothing wrong if we engaged on it but granting that we should not compromise any of our usual responsibility towards our family and friends or any others that close to us, since its true that gambling has always have a consequence in a long run and the most outcome is addiction and once addicted then many negative things will follow if you can't manage gambling and other commitment towards others.

Right, fact remains that the consequences of gambling generally has brought much more worse days based on the decisions or the mindset of some than anything positive. Even those who ended up getting something pretty good from gambling still always end up using it all to gamble all over again until they end up losing it.

Yeah, we can say the mentality of some people is what has led them into becoming bad gamblers but in the real sense, what is really there to gain except just to hang out once in a while, which one can still even do without gambling anyway.

Gambling and at the same time avoiding the consequence of gambling is not possible for any gambler. Only possibility is start focusing into some other entertainment which will be amusing enough to enable people start forgetting gambling like making them never think about returning to gambling. When we are not into gambling then there will be no more worry of facing/handling the consequences of gambling

The consequences that we are going to face in gambling is a real problem that we must deal with, we must be prepared on what is coming. Losing in gambling will affect you mentally and emotionally, most of the time you are going to be aggressive because you wanted to win back that money that you have lost in gambling, you don't care what is going to happen next, what matters to you is that you continue playing gambling, and that is the worst thing that could happen, when you are not thinking straight because you are addicted.

You have mentioned some of the very harsh realities associated with gambling. This is true in any case as gambling is one of the immoral act and immorality always leads to an unrest in the society either it is at personal level or the social level. Anyone who wants to live happily by maintaining his or her relations has a strong need to find some reliable job instead of going for gambling.

That's sad. It's graving how most gamblers let themselves to be taken deep in gambling that they tend to forget about the reality. This is the more reason why gamblers are advised to always keep their state of addiction in check. But its also the responsibility of you his family members to help him out when he was lacking. You guys should have looked out for him at the early stage, that's why you are called 'family'.

This doesn't even make sense as it only depends on the person that gambles, how he takes gambling as.
Many people feel that gambling is easy money just after having a few successful turns after winning. But if they think like that and keep on gambling then they definitely loose in the near future and which is greater than the initial amount won by them and some starts chasing that loss and go bankrupt.
So everybody should keep in mind that you should only gamble that amount that you are willing to lose and after loosing you shouldn't chase the loss as once a thing is gone it never comes back.

I have never thought about it that way that in order to have a great control of yourself you need to trust yourself first. I think the lasting effect of gambling is the addiction to it. Some will not notice it, but the more we lose to gambling, the we are hooked. Gambling has its way of enticing us even if we already lost a fortune because of it. Maybe some people just want the feeling of losing everything and they never learn. I will never go back to gambling because it never got me anywhere.

But yes the harsh reality is that you always have to invest some amount for it and in other words risk your earnings only to earn more via less efforts .
