Reading this forums to enhance your bitcoin knowledge and making useful comments will kill two birds in one shot (pay+learn) . I'm afraid its not enough to get rich but its definitely something to keep you going. The only way you are going to get rich is by betting, gambling, black hat stuff.
If you are just holding and always restore it to your wallet instead of spending it to gamble better to save it in your wallet while you are doing task here in our forum and receive bitcoin dont spend just always save it.. and expect for your future with bitcoin you can be still rich how you are multi tasker and hard worker..
Getting rich with bitcoins is impossible unless you got a big sum of bitcoin to start with or you will do illegal activities. Well one can earn money decently using bitcoin though. To answer Op's question I only earned a decent amount for 6 months using bitcoin enough for me to pay my tuition fees, books and have a pocket money for studying.
So far to answer ops original question i can say ive made a tidy profit so far, I wouldnt want to say how much exactly but its nothing life changing. Unfortunatly for a life changing amount i would need to purchase way more bitcoins than i can afford. Maybe if i could get 100 bitcoins then i would be considered as rich some day once the price goes up a bit more but im never going to reach anywhere near that amount of bitcoin. Id basically need at least 100k per bitcoin to get rich as it stands, so thats not happening either 
the only non-risky way of becoming rich by bitcoins is to buy them and forget about them for atleast an year. If you are willing to take risks try investing in new alt coins after reading about them (buying any new alt coin will just end in a disaster) . best places to read about new and trending alt-coins are bitcointalk and reddit , make sure to use both. Just stay away from cloud mining though !

1) the bigger group are those who want to get rich but do nothing about it except accumulating some small amount of bitcoin (maybe 1BTC at most) and then start wishing bitcoin to reach $100,000,000 so they can get rich.
2) the rest, who don't believe in magic
and believe in a more realistic price so they try to earn bitcoin by working hard for it, and investing in it buy buying bitcoin when it is cheap before it is launched to the moon, or making investments like trading, etc.
I try to be a part of the second group, how about you?

you must have the courage to invest with bitcoin. if you do not dare then you will never get bitcoin. I recommend not only save on the bitcoin wallet, because it requires a longer period of time. use bitcoin you have to get more bitcoin.
Aside from having courage, you must also have a decent amount of bitcoin to start with.
That's why rich people tend to get richer than poor people who have to climb their way up.

I`ve made a few hundred dollars in bitcoins for the last year.It isn`t much,but it adds up.
So far i haven`t lost any btc.I`m lucky i guess.

But really we cannot be rich by bitcoins if we are only low ballers in bitcoin because are income are not fix and it cannot make us buy what we want, but with bitcoins we can have savings to use in terms in rainy days or crisis and only who invested big money with bitcoin and own a stable site that can give them revenue, that people we can say that they can become rich in bitcoins.

Most investment takes time to profit also. Our enemy or ally here is Time. A good timing leads to a good profit and the dream of getting your dreams is not a far distant. But be carefull also to study all your undertakings to do as it mihjt also to lead to losses, and worst bankruptcy. Investment has risk too, remember that.

Investing in any form is a risk and so as in Bitcoin because we have no assurance of what will happen in future. Dreaming of being rich in bitcoin will still be a dream if you won't do any action to make it happen. Of course being rich is great, however, for me what's important is I'm earning it with mostly just using my time and effort as investment. Who knows, any dream can actually come true as long as you chase it and do something to achieve it. So I chose to invest in bitcoin and take that risk.
