The quarter final round in the FA Cup is played in only one leg so the teams will need to be extra careful. I wonder how many of these matches will end up with extra time or even with penalty shootouts. Maybe Chelsea - Leicester?
In the last round Chelsea eliminated Leeds by a last minute goal. Who knows maybe they might have more difficulties in this one.
Anyways the most interesting match is
Manchester United - Liverpool to me. Both teams have been dealing with injuries but the injury list is scarier for Liverpool.
However I'm still thinking of placing a bet on Liverpool to win. I wish Klopp rested Salah in the Sparta Prague match though but one way or another Liverpool can still be victorious.
The FA Cup has now entered the quarter-finals and the current team no longer has hope of getting a trophy in another competition, so I think the FA will be their main target at this time to get a trophy, besides that ten Hag will use the FA Cup as an outlet for their failure to compete in the Premier League and the FA Cup is one of the only opportunities for ten Hag to present the only achievement he can give to Red Devils fans this season, I think Ten Hag will field his best squad today to face Liverpool and maintain their chances of making the FA Cup final.
As for Liverpool, the FA Cup is not their main target this season after still competing in the Premier League and also the Europa League, I think Klopp will only field their young players in this game and at least keep some of the starting players for crucial matches, but although it is likely that Liverpool will field their reserve squad in FA matches, but for sure the game will be worth watching and I think Manchester United will win with no score More than one goal later in the match and made them qualify for the next round.
