City were already knocked out in the FA Cup, now we get the match between Liverpool and Chelsea. Normally Liverpool win that, but Liverpool do have a lot of games in these times, including the Champions League semi-final return and probably final plus last league games. That exhaustion could well be in Chelsea's favour. Just think of last year, when Chelsea were too strong for City in the final. Then City was also a high favorite.

Furthermore if Liverpool manage to score an early goal then I expect Chelsea will surrender the game quickly, and suffer a heavy defeat, but I sincerely hope that Chelsea put up at least some fight so we get to witness an entertaining match.

With the current form of Liverpool no doubt they are going to take this cup as well because as we have their performance in semi-final against Manchester City surely they are at their best and Chelsea is good side but still not capable of giving them good fight like Manchester City. Liverpool and Chelsea are back in the finals, before they played in the Carabao Cup final and at least just over a month later they will be playing in the final for the FA Cup. In the Carabao Cup Liverpool won on penalties and considering Liverpool's current performance can also be said to be very stable, I personally will still choose Liverpool to win in this tournament. I think Chelsea coach has learned from their past matches, to introduce more tactics into the team to ensure Chelsea embrace this champion title in this season. Chelsea players has what it takes to defeat Liverpool in this final because Chelsea defense is more stronger than any others defense in this tournament which will give them the opportunity to defeat Liverpool 1-0 for the favour of Chelsea next month. Liverpool has performed well in this tournament that made them to qualify for the FA cup but based on what we saw between Chelsea and crystal palace, show that Chelsea will not allow Liverpool to defeat them in this final.
