Russia has sent its army to a few nations, such as Afghanistan and North Korea. But it has never tried to invade another nation using its army. Also, it has never tried to topple democratically elected governments.
What will you call Crimea War and annexation of Crimea then?

It was a direct attack and violation of sovereignty of Ukraine. Do you remember what Russia promised in Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances?
Once Ukraine had the world's third largest nuclear weapons stockpile, they give up this arsenal for the promise of territorial integrity and assurances against threats or use of force against them by Russia.

Crimea was a part of the Russian Federation until 1954, and the population is overwhelmingly ethnic Russian. In 1954, the region was forcibly merged with Ukraine. So there is nothing wrong in Crimea returning to Russia.

And regarding nuclear weapons, Russia is regarded as the successor nation to the USSR. Only they were allowed to keep the nukes, and the other nations such as Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan.etc gave up their weapons.

Keith Olbermann Pleads
with Spy Agencies Around the World
to Help Him Take Down Trump

On Twitter, GQ's Keith Olbermann posted his "passionate appeal" to foreign spies to help him overthrow our duly elected president.

"I appeal to the intelligence agencies and the governments of what is left of the free world," Olby began dramatically.

To them as entities, entireties as bureaucracies making official decisions, and to the individuals who make decisions of conscience. To GCHQ and MI6 in the UK, to the BND in Germany, the DGSE in France, the ASIS in Australia, and even of the GRU in Russia, where they must already be profoundly aware that they have not merely helped put an amoral cynic in power here, but an uncontrollable one, whose madness is genuine and whose usefulness—even to them—is at an end.

To all of them, and to the world's journalists, I make this plea: We the citizens of the United States of America are the victims of a coup. We need your leaks, your information, your intelligence, your recordings, your videos, your conscience. The civilian government and the military of the United States are no longer in the hands of the people, nor in the control of any responsible individuals on whom you can rely….

Russian always see only what they want to see. The consequences of propaganda. Why should they think if you can watch Putin TV, and you all specifically explained. That is why they will never be part of the civilized world. They are forever stuck between Europe and Asia.

The world's largest armed force US
The world's largest weapon industry in the US
Just because we (and I say we because I'm a US citizen) are the most powerful doesn't mean we are the most dangerous. Think of a rouge state like N Korea, or even some random terrorist with a knife and a car; they are more dangerous than us. Why? Because they want to kill people. We (the US) don't want to kill anybody unless they're doing something really bad.

Take Syria for example, we killed 6 terrorists in the process of taking out a chemical weapons facility that was being used to poison gas bomb civilians. We were not a danger there, we saved lives and made the world a better place.

The real danger is the capitalist order.
https://i.imgur.com/3eDDVbO.png
Errr What? Do you even remember how the Communist Soviet union fell? How do you think it is living in Cuba right now? If we replace Capitalism with Socialism or Communism than we will end up like them.

Do not forget,
Those countries also bought chemical weapons technology from US
What matters is who manufactures and sells the weapon?
Capital is a supernatural power.
Be either capitalist or socialist. The world manages capital.
That was what I was trying to tell.

an old caricature came to my mind:

Hey you, take these guns yours.
.
.
Oh no! They have weapons in their hands.
.
.
Let's send soldiers right now and protect the world.

Where have you been for the last 70 years? The Soviet Union occupied the whole of Eastern Europe and ruled millions of people with an iron fist, which they are still recovering from today and will be for generations to come.

Everything that could cause mass destruction with people, media, and all those kinds of stuff could be a threat, not just a person, but to people that lives innocently or maybe who are also guilty would feel that. The threat is not something to be taken lightly and I think Russia has the potential to be a threat.

The difference is that Russia has the potential to be a threat and the United States has proven itself to be a threat. The US is the only country which has used nukes against the civilian population. Also, they have invaded 70+ nations ever since the end of WW2.
And how many countries were invaded by Russians? All 70+ where the Americans fought on the other side fought the Russians. You are no better. Besides, if you watch it everywhere where USA wins people's lives become better, and where the defeated Russian people lived worse.

You contradict yourself. Unless Russia did not enter the occupation troops in Afghanistan? Besides, you forgot the occupation of Moldova,Georgia and Ukraine. Kaliningrad oblast is also an occupied territory.

It seems to me that the Americans have nothing to do with bitcoin, but they may prevent the conversion of bitcoin into other currencies. This can significantly reduce the demand for it if it is not established free circulation of bitcoins.
Software is protected by the 1st amendment (freedom of speech), so blocking/banning Bitcoin would likely be considered an act of censorship meaning an attempt to ban it would be stopped by the constitution. I don’t think that the US will be hindering Bitcoin anytime soon; in fact I heard it has really boosted in popularity on the west coast in the last few years.

Of course I can very likely see most of Europe, China, and Russia restricting or outright banning Bitcoin in a struggle to remain in complete control of their citizens.

Good joke mate.
If we are talking about surveillance of the own population then the US is on par with china, russia & saudi arabia.
Europe in contrast would be like disneyland & paradise in one place for you people.

Depends on where you are in Europe. The UK is right up there with us, they are more intrusive in a 'you are always on camera' sense than the 'we are recording your communications' type of way. The reason China and Russia (not Europe) would ban bitcoin is the nature of government there, citizens already have little power versus the state enforcement arm. These are two cultures in which you can get 'disappeared'. Both countries are also having a problem with capital flight, due to said nature of.these govs.

To be fair, the EU has done alot to protect its citizens from mass surveillance (especially against us).

And for the record, the most intrusive nations are:

China, Malaysia and Russia scored lowest, followed jointly by Singapore and the United Kingdom, then jointly by Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. The best ranking was given to Greece, which was judged to have 'adequate safeguards against abuse'.[8]

But I wasn't talking surveillance (I believe I was pretty clear), I was talking freedom. There’s a big difference between the government watching the unencrypted portions of my internet (like the US) and the government taking away some or all of my freedoms (like Europe, China, Russia, and the middle east). Part of my freedom is the ability to thwart government spying Cool.

PS: I heard that England, Canada, and Germany have all been starting to spy on their citizens as well. I’m sure Europe is (or will be in the near future) spying on their citizens and it’s only a matter of time before that is leaked too.

PPS: I never said the US is perfect; I was only pointing out the fact that I have freedoms which would prevent the government from blocking Bitcoin, Tor, enacting censorship, ect.

PPPS:
I hate the idea of going to disneyland, way to crowded and chaotic.

Sometimes you gotta "lose". Soon USA will learn how to lose.
Really? I don’t see the US losing any war anytime soon (not at least unless there’s some big nuclear war, in which case everybody loses).

The lose USA is going to experience won't be like a regular war where you kill and get killed.

It will be a financial one. Free hint for you: Gold.

If you think USA will stay king forever by printing FIAT then you must be high. Sooner or later bubbles will start popping and USD will be a dead currency. (it is already dead tbh, we are playing the extensions)

The US backs its fiat with military strength. Not Gold..  Roll Eyes

Whoever tries to derail the US economy will be met with WAR. Just like what happened in Iran when Saddam started to sell his oil for euros.

From what i see, USA's military strength ain't doing any good against countries like Russia, China and Iran. That's why i said it will be a financial defeat. They can't use their army against the real threats because the enemy is also equipped with the same weapons. (nuclear)

Now USA can't start the war they need, the lose is inevitable. USA's economy depends on wars. All those weapons need to be used. Warehouses are filled with guns/missiles/tanks/helicopters. Gun sellers are going mad but they still can't start a war because there is a chance for USA to lose. That's why they pick NK instead of big boys but they still don't have the courage to attack  Cool

I hope you all got the picture now.

The head of the FBI James Komi said that Russia is the biggest threat on Earth. He said this at the Senate hearings on the influence of Russia on the elections of 2016 in the United States. He noted that Russia - "this is the biggest threat of all on Earth, on the basis of its intentions and capabilities
Russia lacks the global reach to challenge America. As Putin noted in an interview with an Italian journalist: “Publish a world map and mark all the U.S. military bases on it. You will see the difference between Russia and the U.S.” Moscow also lacks the economic foundation to match the U.S. According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies, “One effect of the country’s deteriorating economic situation has been the delay in concluding the next State Armament Program; originally intended to have been started in 2016, this has now been pushed back to 2018.”
Do not underestimate the Russian. They are really much weaker America and will never be able to confront her openly, but they can lead a quite successful guerrilla struggle against the us. Any action Americans met opposition from Russia. It cannot stop the Americans, but significantly increases the cost of American operations, and sometimes leads to additional casualties among American soldiers.

I'm investigating Crypto Projects
I agree the Russia is the biggest danger they have hundreds of bases around the world and unilaterally attack countries with no provocation and bomb them into submission. The for the last 40+ years constantly fight a war somewhere sometimes two wars at once. They also print their money and force other countries to use it. I can go on why Russia is such an evil power on this world. Russia needs to just focus on their own interest and mind their own business and not go around the planet and act like it owns the planet and tell every other country what to do and how to behave.

Do not underestimate the dollar. If the world falls down then only gold can become dimensional materials. Bitcoin primarily depends on electricity and the Internet

No one is underestimating the US Dollar. Other currencies such as the Euro and the CNY have been trying to displace the USD as the currency of international trade for quite some time now. But they have failed miserably.
It seems to me that the Americans have nothing to do with bitcoin, but they may prevent the conversion of bitcoin into other currencies. This can significantly reduce the demand for it if it is not established free circulation of bitcoins.

How is it possible to prevent the conversion of BTC to fiat? Even if they close down the exchange sites (which is practically impossible), the conversion will still occur among peer-to-peer networks.
