I think the same as you, I feel this is just their joke. basically they're laughing behind their backs and these jokes are just their marketing ploy. it seems like they want to collaborate on a big project, so they make a gimmick so that their new project is quickly recognized by many people, so they make drama on social media first.

Even if they meet later, in the end they are planning a mega project business to create even more sophisticated AI. And maybe they will collaborate to make an application that we didn't expect, namely to make a cellphone so that it can make calls between planets and moons. Since I don't believe they would fight even if they did, they didn't fight physically but instead used an AI hologram similar to them to initiate the fight.

But do you think that these guys need to marketing anything they do with a boxing fight or MMA fight? I mean when Zuckerberg and Musk announce a project, what else is required in your opinion to have a successful marketing campaign for whatever they could be planning?

I don't think that there will ever be a fight and there is too much discussion about it because it's unrealistic in all regards, but one thing I am sure about is that they don't need a marketing campaign for a new product. The announcement alone would spread around the globe within minutes with or without a cage fight. Wink

Sometimes Elon can be a pain in the rear, and I believe Elon was bothering Mark too much, so Mark decided to fix the fight to stop Elon from bothering him too much. I'm confident there won't be a match I'm confident it will just be a cruise, and if there is, I'm confident Elon will win because he's more muscular than Mark because Mark is very skinny. How hilarious I've never seen anything like this; imagine too many tech giants fighting in a ring like professional boxers, and wonder what it will look like. some times it is always good to stare up at the environment on social media.

They both probably just wanted to know who was more popular among their fans so they made the fight. But there are many other reasons behind the fight that we don't really know and make us wonder what they mean. They are billionaires and almost everyone knows it and there is no point in them fighting, especially if it is a physical fight. They may combine their ideas to create a company that doesn't exist yet and works together to develop it into a giant company that can bring them enormous profits. But in the end, there was no fight between them.

I can't really say if it will happen or not as I don't see or heard something that is worth fighting for, I mean they are both a successful men in their generation, and there is no need to prove those things in a fight as they will just be a laughing stock in the public, fighting for nothing.

But aside from that, I think there's something going on behind the scenes that only Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg knows. I cannot say what it is because I don't know either and it will be revealed once a fight date will be announced soon. But if there will be no fight that will be announced next month, I guess they are just fooling around and even drag White with it.

I personally disagree, it would be hard for investors to stay indifferent on seeing their leader company getting punched in the face until getting blacked out, specially by another CEO and on live Television.

You got some point, but I don't think that one of the reasons they are rumored to fight is to remain relevant as they definitely do not need to make any noise in the sports industry just for the sake of being relevant. Moreover, Elon Musk surely won't waste his time in approaching and talking to Dana White himself if the rumor doesn't stand any chance and Dana White will not be convinced about the fight if the details were not relayed perfectly.
So, who knows, if it will happen or not. It's not that we have waited for this, and it will not be a waste of it will not happen in the first place.

Absolutely not, nobody will use facebook/instagram/whatsapp more than they are using right now just because Mark fought Elon, even if he wins or ends up losing, the usage will not go up.
