Dude everything is so expensive in Scandinavia and even if the Swedes were sourcing the hardware for cheap from China and granted the climate is colder up North regarding the heat dissipation issues of mining I doubt they could have lasted longer against the Chinese who can churn out hardware for pennies and use electricity for pennies literally at their doorsteps. Unless some mining farm starts harnessing the power from wind turbines or some other source of renewable energy I don't think that mining will gain any foothold in any other country in the world other than China any time soon.
Well, it's China. What else do we expect. They are always trying to overpower every business possible.
As far as I am concerned, in my country, most of the richest businessmen are Chinese, or at least has a blood of a Chinese.

That's not fair, in technology they have advanced much compared to most other nations. Possibly when they get benefited for the advancement in a short time period, other nations describe that China is taking control over every sector which is not true.
It's racial humor (I think). It's got to an American thing, although this forum doesn't have much in the way of a sense of humor.
In this forum we have people from all around the world.

Some claims are legit though, it could be dangerous if a single country controls 50%+ of miners. But there might not be a single solution to control this...

I don't know about Swedes but Jews are really now at back, the Chinese are trying their best to take control of the world business and world economy and from a few years I am seeing that they are getting success in the goal.

I guess everything is profit driven in China and with the strong background in electronic manufacturing (facilities, technologies and people!) I am not surprise they have the biggest miner groups! They mining sites are up and hashing away even before the cement is dried! Hunger for profit, efficiency and pushing to the limit are the force behind them!
Considering there is no welfare state and they had a 1 child policy from the late 70's until 2015, there are a whole generation of Chinese that have 4 grandparents and 2 parents to look after in their old age. They are going to need a hefty income to accomplish that. They don't have time to let the cement dry!!

Frankly speaking i would prefer Chinese control over bitcoin rather than jews or americans controlling it I.e if someone has to control it (mining).
Well, when you put it that way, I guess I don't mind having Asians controlling Bitcoin either. Chances are they are less likely to be bought and typically most have a bit more loyalty or a better sense of community (based on my interactions with them) and to be completely honest I think they'll be fine. Less manipulation should occur, and I'm fine with that. THey have my trust until they opt to break it. Jump to:
