Bitcoins have a bright future, because more and more people are getting indulged in bitcoins now and soon it will be worldwide accepted. I think the only reason to see less growth or downfall is the jealous people.
btc fills a big need for people, it allows online transactions with simplicity and with no restrictions or high fees. I think depending on that it should have good success and increased adoption at least on the global transactions field.
Replacing fiat and being the only currency is a little excessive but I think it has the potential to make something pretty good, it can be one of the easiest method to transport money between countries rather than inefficient banking systems.
I don't think BTC actually replacing fiat someday in the future that impossible, I mean at sometime the idea of using a piece of paper in exchange of goods/services was ridiculous.Replacing fiat and being the only currency is a little excessive but I think it has the potential to make something pretty good, it can be one of the easiest method to transport money between countries rather than inefficient banking systems.

Bitcoin may not last forever in its actual form, but the fact that it isn't dependent on any government or institution will eventually convince a greater audience and further spread it's use

but its still hard sometimes to explain bitcoin to them that totally dont know about btc..but im sure one day they will understand.
