Hopefully that by claiming Ethereum as the most promising crypto investment than Bitcoin did not lose your investments as Ethereum price continue to fall down due to the current market condition. Rule of investment is that you should not put all of your eggs in a single basket therefore you should consider Bitcoin and other top ranked altcoins as adoring only Ethereum crypto currency is not good.
maybe I would say that long-term investment is an option when it cannot get a profit with a holding but short-term is the hope when the holding that we want is achieved even though sometimes, holding makes us hold it so we fall back 
Long-term investments are very risky. I have one and I just watch. For today, short-term profits (6 months, year) brought more profit. It all depends on the circumstances.
there is no real thing as a guid to long term investment in cryptoworld.. u can't be sure in it.. all works on day to day judgment of making better decisions.. if u keep urself updated on daily basis u will more likely stay in touch with the latest news and will b in a better position ot make profitable decisions else u'll blow ur investment..
Well the only reason about doing some long term investment is to gain larger and steady profits. And I suggest if you are doing long term investments, you should invest on Bitcoin or Ethereum because I believe that these to will rise up again by the end of this year 2018.

I completely agree with you. I think ethereums future is really bright and it will be really valuable in near future. Also with these scaling updates and limiting total supply these will boost ethereums price.
For me i kinda prefer for short term investment. Although long term investment has potential to multiple you money or coins. But when the short term investment you can easyly investment and sell and do again and again for just a short time. So dont have to wait for a long term.
At first, I dont actually like long term investments in cryptos. My reason is that crypto values are always changing and to maximize your profit, you have to trade everyday. Its like buying and selling. Buy low sell high. But currently, based on the performance of crypto market, I started to consider long term investment because the market is very low and still on the recovery phase.
Personally, I can't imagine. The project has put on a robe and hides from everyone what is happening under it. I certainly understand that internal problems should not be shown to us, but still this is the crypto sphere and we are all your investors.

You're throwing exciting issues ... nowadays the market situation has a lot of doubts. I believe Ethereum is the future, because it will be strong again. I have a lot of friends who bought it not only at the beginning than nowdays too.
