However, as we just saw, the building of new applications on top of the Ethereum blockchain will also drive up demand.Demand for Ether will be driven by one of two things. Either for its functionality as a currency that is built on a blockchain with several applications. Or as a possible investment that keeps appreciating in value. And for that I think the future of ETH will be brighter.

I believe the future of Ethereum is very bright. It has been one of the high potential altcoins over the past six months. It has also been getting a lot of investors attention over the past six months or so. Many investors have been selling bitcoin and buying Ethereum and its price is very low compared to bitcoin. Many people believe it would cross bitcoin in future. Last year, we have seen a lot of ICOs using Ethereum platform and this year the number of ICOs using Ethereum platform is growing rapidly. I think It has got a potential to cross 5k at the end of this year.
