although in the future will all be completely online, including payment. I'm sure there must be something that requires a paper money for payment, whatever that
I believe that the digital currency will dominate, but it will not make the papers disappear

Paper money will never disappear not in this century, in before the increase in the dominance of internet which makes the use of electronic money as such, it has not even reduce the amount of paper notes being printed by the Central Bank. Paper money has being with us for ages and centuries and for any kind of currency to replace it means it has to be around if not that long then close to that or else, the worse that will happen is that they both co-exist.

Actually paper money is now starting  to go digital. Just look at China it will release its prototype fiat digital currency this coming September. This signals a new leap in the banking system. Soon other countries will turn into a cashless society like china. Paper money will soon be history when fiat digital currency hits the road.
But I don't think that with this chinese adoption they will remain as cashless. The cash will still be there as in Chna there are some places where the society is not much advanced as it is shown on media so in these places fiat will be used.

Though people are started using debit cards, credit cards and other digital currencies; there are some transaction which needs to be deal in traditional cash only. Paper money will be always the main mode of payment.

Yes it will always be and there are people who are not even updated with these type of usage when paying because they really lack of knowledge about technology. There is always a need for paper money even the technology is becoming more good enough nowadays and we can transact everything using internet.

It will surely take time for people to accept it but i'm sure the day will come when the world will be completely digital and so will the payment systems, though we cannot say for sure that bitcoin will be the mode for that but governments might create their own digital currencies which will replace paper money system for sure.

You're entirely right. For the longest time people have been reliant on physical exchange of products for transaction and I can't really see that changing even with the rise of digital currency. Of course it would be easier for people to do online purchases but most of the time, everyday transactions and needs require you to use cash. It's possible that highly developed nations would one day use cash minimally but let's face it, there are a lot more second and third world countries that won't have access to digital transactions all the time so it would still be paper money that would mostly run  their businesses.

Its amazing to see a country working into the new era of money that should become digital, soon or later internet will be free for all instead be paid. Im curious to see how China will promote and handle their currencie, but im sure this is the future, bitcoin has pushed the future to a near tomorrow, with this i do hope to get all transactions clear, and know where the money from my work is being spent.

That's right. Paper money will stay the main mode of payment for many more years. Sometimes we forget that we, people who live in cities and who have a computer are not the biggest percent of people on the Earth. Those the biggest percent is going to use paper money for a long long time. And by the approximately calculation only 1 milliard of people in the final count will use bitcoin. But by my opinion bitcoin is money of future.
to me i think still paper money is important part of our life. i think most of the people are still depending on fiat currency, because i do not use or fiat in most of occasions,
No doubt, it's the most popular form of fiat money, with paper money, people does not need to use internet to transact like the digital money. It's very simple to use that's why it's popular as all of use can use it regardless of our educational attainment. It's like we are trading when we transact but personally.

True. Not everyone can afford an internet and they might also think why pay for internet if I could just use that money for another usage. Food or payment for rentals or maybe bills instead of wasting it for an internet. We cant erase that. Many people still thinks like rhat.
It's now not everyone thinks to perform transactions be digitally, but for the future? Very likely in future transactions are very popular be digitally. Because now became popular people doing transactions digitally (though not all). But according to my digital transactions only as an alternative, and paper money will always be used for face to face transactions because it is practical and efficient.

Yes it's good, why do we make simple things complicated? Whenever paper money still we need, up to this time all countries are still looking for ways to make the best technology from paper money. And of course they've got long-term consideration so that it will continue to use paper money.

Digital money including cryptocurrency technology can never replace paper money, because the State still need paper money and as one of the political policy.

Governments also prefer digital money over paper, because it's very easy to track transactions. Cash is the main form of money for black market right now, and it's also used for tax evasions and other illegal activities. So, I think people will be reaching towards crypto currencies as governments push people away frosh cash.
although the government would prefer the digital money in the future. but they will not leave the fiat. maybe they will make another version of the fiat that is digital form

They already have. All digital transactions are based in digital fiat. Any bill you pay online, any transfer between bank accounts, any time you use a credit or debit card, all these transactions are digital fiat. The government doesn't have to do anything "new" to create it, it already exists and t is already the bulk of transactions in western economies. Bitcoin is not going to replace that.

Cash has one, undisputed advantage comapring to any electronic payment method - it's completely anonymous and it's almost impossible to trace back transaction history. Of course, there are some entry/end points like bank account transfers, but still we can simply avoid banking system and use cash. It's even more suprising when some officials or journalists raise the problem of the using bitcoins in criminal purposes, when cash money can be used there as well. The main barrier for cash money usage is the distance - all transactions have to be made face-to-face, but in my opinion it would still have it's niche and it's here to stay, along with cryptos.

Probably not always, but I'm sure that paper money will remain with us for a long time from now, and not only paper but the metal coins too. Don't know about you guys, but I think life would be less fun without paper money and coins.

-Future of paper money, i think it is forever, not something that can replace it
-For years paper money has always been widely used and popular, can say say is immortal. I am sure you know that paper money is never lost

I believe somehow that paper money cannot be replace by some other currencies easily. But I also believe that nothing is permanent in this world.

So if that isn't going to make the paper money replaced, then bitcoin is not going to be permanent either or vice versa.

But because of technology, there is no reason that currency can be upgraded also and it is possible that government can consider bitcoin or any digital money.
