Paper money is a standard..
Exactly, that is why I believe although in the future the trend will be online or digital money but still majority of the people
are using paper money because it's easier and it's hard to educate people to use online currency.
This will only give us another option for transaction and digital currency really help as the world is moving fast nowadays.

A half of the world's population lives below poverty line - how can you expect all them to get rid of paper money and start using credit cards or even cryptocurrencies? I believe the world will be using paper money for a long time - 20-30 years, not less
I'm sure more than 100 years of paper money can survive, poverty will never be eliminated and can only be reduced, in addition to internet access and education becomes an important thing to be able to make money disappear paper.

Currency popular yuan on the one hand, it is people's dissatisfaction with legal tender spamming, inflation, on the other hand, the currency has a decentralized, anonymity, transaction convenient wait for a characteristic, the equivalent of a virtual gold.

Due to many governments' resistance to BTC and people's understanding of BTC, legal tender is the main way of trading for a long time.

The presence of bitcoin or cryptocurrency makes many governments worry because it will make paper money disappear, but I'm sure this will not happen because paper money is fully protected by the state, so the state will do anything to keep paper money.
As long as the cryptocurrency world doesn't effect the monetary system of the government, the government won't need to spend many capacities to ban the cryptocurrency. However, if the government think crypto is the enemy of their system, they will ban crypto.

Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

Paper money now plays an important role in our lives. But more and more transactions become non-cash. It seems to me that the paper money still existed for about 20 years

Most people don't understand that governments would like to ban paper money more than bitcoin!
All the reasons to ban bitcoin (it's untraceable, you can finance terrorism, you can make money laundering, ecc) is true also - and much more - for paper money.
So, even if they can't ban it directly, they try to convince the population to use electronic money, and - as someone already said - in Swedish in a lot of shops you can pay only with credit cards.
(btw, even in US if you pay much more than some hundreds dollars in cash, you become suspect)

So, in short time probably paper money will disappear, replaced by some kind of electronic money.

So, the real question it: this new money will be decentralized (freedom) or centralized(slavery)?

We'll see, but it's up to us to give a contribution to the war. It will be a bloody one.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

Probably in relatively short time paper money will cease to exist.
But this doesn't mean that there will be a general bitcoin acceptation. More likely, governments will try to force people to use electronic centralized fiat money, as in Swedish. But this is the exact opposite of crypto.
That will happen in the future for sure because the government cannot just let the cryptocurrency take over the whole financial market because they will try to do something also in order to attract their people or citizen to use their currency and that is by creating their own digital money but the only difference is they will make it as a centralized cryptocurrency.

I think it takes some time to change the paper money we are using right now to cryptocurrency. But we don't know will happen in the next 20 years..
You can change the system easily but it would not happen because people are still not gonna change.
This world is compose of a big population and part of the population are the people who are living in poverty which means they are far from
the development and they do not need an online money when they have convenience with paper money.

Just one reason, because of which paper money (if we speak about national currency) can disappear its lack of the resources that its have been supported by, but it's unreal, I think. If speak about paper money as pictures on a paper with a different protection marks - the whole world use debit cards and can buy and sell something with its help. Paper money can disapper after several generations, but national currency will be exist untill economy of different states exist.

You have a point that most of the people in third world countries are unbanked people or doesn't have access to credit cards because they need to submit lots of requirements but if you look on the other side people can easily access the internet, means that if blockchain technology was explain to them then they can adopt these new technology and use it as an alternative for credit cards.
