It will take a long time to paper money die and it's a steady progress but some countries already use more credit cards in compare with paper money.

The future of paper money is very good .. Paper money will continue to be used forever .. Paper money has a perfect support system that evolved from year to year that has been very attached to people's lives every day .. I am very confident if it will never be able to replace the money paper ..

actually bitcoin is better than physical money, and maybe bitcoin will also really be the money of the future. But besides that there are still many people who do not understand about digital money.

You can't blame them. There are a lot of people who do not really know what bitcoin is and other digital currencies. Some of them are busy to their lives, some of them are not interested in such technology and most of them are not really using such technology in their lives and are just using some like radios and mobile phones which I see most of the time in our place since we are just a province in a third world country.

Paper money will remain in this world. Especially for those countries who banned cryptocurrency in their place. But i think paper money will not use in the future in countries that start cryptos as mode of payment.

Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

Paper money will not be banned entirely because crypto or specifically bitcoin is still banned in some countries. I still preferred holding my money in my palm, the feeling is still different. Tho I'm not saying that bitcoin is not good.

It is hard to know for what will happen with the paper money and that can be very risky, but I think that paper money will have not that bad future later.
Many people are using now paper money, and you can of course see that there is not more people using Bitcoin and that is because the world is becoming more digital.

There is no possibility that paper money will disappear in the future, there are a lot of people that is still using it.

most likely, paper money will simply disappear as useless. governments will try to keep them because it is such a convenient tool for control. but the progress will not go away and it is already clear that the age of paper money is coming to an end.
But I think paper money will survive until whenever because the paper money has existed since long and easy received by all the, different with money digital that not everyone could accept because it is not a bit of those who do not understand the digital don’t even know at all the existence of paper money would not be replaced and will be the main as a tool payment
It's the government creation so definitely it will survive because if not the world would not be a better place to live.
Online currency are invented to fast track online transactions but we cannot deny that majority of the population are still using paper money for their
daily transaction.

I prefer paper money to transact directly because it is easier to use than digital money. perhaps my opinion represents some people who have not understood the technology. Digital money will work but it certainly takes a very long time to completely replace the digital money..
Yes true, for direct transactions certainly paper money more quickly and practically, let alone do not need the internet so the transaction does not need to wait. besides that many things that can not be done with digital money for example is a transaction with a small value.
That's true because transacting online is very expensive, maybe the blockchain is the solution but we need to see the lower cost
of transaction fee now, until this will be solve, this would not be useful for the majority of people.

Paper money in the future will not be totally eliminated but there will be reduction in its usage.

Like in India, the country is not aiming for a "cashless society" but instead a "less cash" country.

The US is more on cards, most of their transactions are processed through cards.

Digital currency like bitcoin has it flaws like transaction charges, security and bank risk where your account is in.

Digital money might replace major cash-based transaction but not totally.

Agree with you mate. Right now when not much of the people are aware of the digital currency it would be so hard to use it. The people are used in using the paper money. Shifting to digital currency may take some time but at least we are going to that direction. In the near future, digital currency will be a common thing and it would be easy to use.
Yes true, even so the paper money will continue to survive even though the volume is very small, I am sure that all countries will not prohibit the use of paper money even though the dominance of digital money is very strong.

I am sure that the future of paper money will continue to improve although the use of digital money continues to increase, this is because all transactions can be done with paper money but not all transactions can be done digital money or cryptocurrency, for example is a transaction in the forest or the middle of the sea that no have internet access.
The future of paper money is fully safe and secured. The paper money is used by the whole population in the world.Paper money can be given used by an illiterate. It does not require any internet connection unlike cryptocurrency which is operated by internet.Paper money is also supported by the government and Central Bank as it is centralised and sable. All the transactions are done through the paper money only and it is accepted internationally.Paper money can be used be used anywhere and anytime.

The future of our money, I think, it will dissolve. As we can see, bitcoins and other form of virtual money invented fast and fast. We can consider now that our paper money will be obsolete and we will having a new technology for our next generations of new technology.

In reality, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency are not still introduced all country throughout the world to be used for our daily life. Their still nation bans the cryptocurrency, so I conclude that paper money still the most powerful currency. It will be time to replace the paper money, or we have three kinds of the payments. Paper money, Credit or debit card and the last is digital currency. We just continue to believe and trust the cryptocurrency, and we shall see the future what will happen on this matter.
All of the nations should first regulate cryptocurrencies in their country. There are still countries that are not recognizing bitcoin as a money. Bitcoin will not become international currency if there are countries are still banning bitcoins.
I did not wait this future, Bitcoin can not become an international currency, because it can not provide enough capaty to confirm huge transaction from all people on the world. Only hundreds of thousands transactions made the Bitcoin network congestion, I do not hope much about the Bitcoin future in monetary system.

Paper money will slowly but steady die. It will take a long time and it's a steady progress but some countries already use more credit cards etc. over paper money, so I guess other countries will follow that aim to replace paper money in the future. Cryptocurrencies also help with that goal. My biggest concern about digitisation of our money is anonymity. Paper money is easy to use and anonym because noone can track your expenses. A lot of governments are interested in transparent citizens who cannot hide anything so it's just a matter of time paper money will die sooner or later.
