it is very unlikely that paper money will be banned because it will be very difficult to fix the new system. This could happen but it seems very old and needs socialization to all citizens and make everyone believe in crypto money rather than paper money, if it can then it will work. I do not know the risks but the address error in the delivery of crypto currency can make money charred.

it's a pleasant feeling - to keep the paper money of your hands, because you can use them wherever you want. Bitcoin simply helps us to save more, so if we convert it to fiat, we can cash it and do whatever we want.

I don't think paper money will be banned, I think each 'concept of money' can coexist with no problem.
Yes me too. I believe that paper money will exist for so many years, I don't see any replacement for paper money in the coming years, the replacement of paper money by digital currency is  impossible. Becuase peper money is a part of our life, May be the use of paper money will decreased, But it will survive because a lot of people and country depended in it.

Scandinavian countries are already reducing their cash. Prefer non-cash payments. Less than 6% of all payments. Then they have more control over citizens.

Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

I really think that people would be still using paper money in the future. It is true that cryptocurrency is convenient, however, paper money still has advantages. With paper money, you have a physical proof that you have money, unlike cryptocurrency, the reason why cryptocurrency has it's value is because it can be converted to paper money.

I think that paper cash will be gone lateron. How educed it  s going to consider I'm not sure. Things are obtaining increasingly more digital and cash is among those activities. But it'll be a entire process getting rid of the document money.r i
If the government will decide to eliminate the paper money then they have to educated all people to use online transaction.
For me, that is an impossible task so that would not happen, until now there are still a big population who has not proper education or shall
we call them illiterate people, how can they use the online transaction?

Paper money will be banned entirely?  I think it will not be banned because fiat money has been there for centuries now and as medium for exchanges.
How long do you think that happens? If paper fiat will be bannd I think it will be because of too many counterfeit bills that every security feature will be hacked.
would it work?  NO, absolutely
What security and privacy risks would it raise? More and more hackers will be competitive enough to break into ever cloud storage or every system.

Paper money has been used for a while now and it is possible for it to be banned just don't see it coming though. Of course it would worked we are using somethings has money before the introduction of paper money, it may just take a while but it will work. Everything will be left in the hands of the monetary authority to decide and work on but seriously we are going to a state of cashless policy now in my country

Paper money is indispensable in our lives. It will always be present even in the future.  You cannot always buy things online and pay digital money.  For instance in our country,  we have such thing called "Sari Sari Store" or these are the small retail vendors where we buy our immediate needs in our neighborhood and ofcourse, it is small so they cannot accept money transfer for small amount.
in addition, paper money in cash turnover performs an auxiliary function. The basis is non-cash. And the emission of money is made only non-cash, cash is printed as secondary
moreover, people do not really understand online transactions. In addition, paper money also has some nominal, which can be used for various types of purposes, and its use is not troublesome. I think that this will always be used.

Paper money is also important especially in emergency cases where internet is not available.  Sometimes you go to remote places or and all they accept are cash and tangible paper money. Children or old people will find it difficult to use digital currencies online and will prefer paper money. The sense of security they feel when they have the money on their pocket knowing that it is the only form of monetary system for them.

For now, paper money is the most essential, but it's future seems a little bleak especially with the rise of cryptocurrencies. Sure, people are intrigued with online trading but not everyone has access to the internet, so we'll know when we get there.

I'm sure the future of paper money will disappear, perhaps no more than 50 years away all paper money in the world will be replaced with digital money. and the process of digitizing money is currently being tested in many countries.

Yes because there are a lot of illiterate people in this world who has no idea how to use online transaction.
Paper money is very simple, they can buy anytime and anywhere using paper money, that is the convenience of using paper money so as long
as it has benefits to people, it will remain in the circulation.

The paper money will be using till the end of this world because the implementation of digital currency is not easy everywhere. The countries which are less developed and are not afford the technology at advance level so how they will make arrangements for the digital currency but the advance countries will easily and instantly adopt the digital currency and online payments.

Who knows, some philanthropist might donate at those countries in need, just to implement the digitization of their money for the sake of saving the environment. Just think of it, US and other rich countries donate some old ships to those who cannot afford it or who are close to them, so it's possible that there are scenarios like that that might happen, if a certain country would love to convert their cash to digital form too.
