Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

Paper money has been around for a long time and has been accepted by many as an indispensable currency, but now technology has grown, and paper money is being used in the community. Electronic coins will replace this paper currency.

I think when  bitcoin is officially used as a world currency, paper money is no more to used. Because bitcoin will be powerful to all the world and will be used to any kind of electronic transaction. Paper money will not be used any more because will be the high tech money to all over the world. I think majority of the people will agree on this do easy transaction.

Paper money will never be banned and will just continue to exist. It is the most convenient way to pay and method of purchase and transaction. Likewise, it is the safest way to transact in the internet and even in physical environment. Publicly or privately, paper money is still the best option we have.

Bitcoin- in bullish time

Smiley :)Bitcoin can be a legitimate and widespread form of money but mostly in theory, for now, according to Goldman Sachs strategists. You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it. Smiley Smiley

This will be the possibility that we are wanting to see in the future.
It's still a long journey and good thing is that now we have already started seeing some country who are very supportive
with the bitcoin technology. Soon, the world will know about crypto and the positive side of it.
The world already know about the side of the cryptocurrencies but they are not yet ready for cryptocurrencies to accept it and implement as a mode of payment because the market is so volatile and the people who doesn't have a knowledge about the market will lose their money and it is very risky for average people so it is not yet for the world to be with bitcoin but in the future, it will surely get accepted.

The future of paper money will still exists because it has a support from the Government and for sure the Government won't allow bitcoin to take over fiat. Maybe paper money in the future would be obsolete but it will never gone.
The world will be develop . The technology is currently applied in practice a lot. And I'm thinking of a much better future. I for example: you go buy an item and you just hold a payment card over the internet quickly and conveniently and you like it? So I think the future of paper money may disappear.

It is only a matter of time when will first blockchain be used in bank systems an they are very  smart people and they will find their ways to reduce influence of bitcoin, this is certain. Nobody will watch this rise without interfering. This leads us to regulations and this is way of accepting of bitcoin so we all must vote for regulations.

If the whole world will become 100% dependent to digital advancement then of course the paper money will become obsolete. Some digital currency on the market at present there are a lot of risk, vulnerable to fluctuations in price, this is mainly because some technology did not focus on the application of digital currency in terms of retail payment, but becomes a virtual assets transaction.  Smiley

paper money will be lost? very far from the expectation of a possibility if the paper material has begun to run out of digital currency technology may be applied around the world.
The future of paper money is we will be stable even there are so many cryptocurrency that is existing in this world right now, why? Because paper money is still all people needs to buy there wants and need in life and paper money is still the basis to survive in this world.

I think paper money would still survive even in the future. People has been comfortable and paper money has been part of the global trading block ever since it's origins. I think what's more possible is the time when cryptocurrencies will have a healthy interplay with paper Money.

There is a big difference in the cost of Bitcoin paper as it is limited online and the supply is quite limited and inflation is not at all, considering some money in the field of investment, but we all are Bitcoin as a investment.

It will last forever as I see many country does have a places that has no such internet technology yet, so it is hard to be legalized in the way other people like me accept bitcoin to be our future money and I think it's gonna take time to make it our money like here in my country many people do not know bitcoin yet because of lack of internet knowledge that's why it's hard to explain to them where I get my money.

For me paper money in the future is no more worth more because it will replace by electronic money that is possibly used anywhere in this world not like any paper money that has limmitations as well as they are only for a one country not like electronic currency that can used anywhere like bitcoin. Bitcoin is the future money and the paper money was being no more worth for.

Paper money is the identity of a country, people are easier to recognize paper money than other symbols of the country, and this is certainly a big consideration for all countries to continue to keep paper money, so whatever happens I am sure that paper money is always there.

Yes it is paper money is the most constant of them all, it is used for the medium of exchange for goods and services within our economy and it our country's official, paper currency.
At least with paper money everything will be easy and it's lawful so there is nothing to worry.
Bitcoin is not that popular and you will be having a hard time using it in most of your needs, crypto as a whole will surely progress
but paper money will remain widely use.
The paper money is trusted, People are using paper money since centuries and they actually believe in paper money. They will keep on using paper money in the coming days as well. So I think Bitcoin will not have any kind of effect on paper money although people welcoming the digital era especially about cryptocurrency with full of happiness.

Some digital currency on the market at present there are a lot of risk, vulnerable to fluctuations in price, this is mainly because some technology did not focus on the application of digital currency in terms of retail payment, but becomes a virtual assets transaction. Virtual asset trading is not very good for financial services in the real economy.

Therefore, the research and development of digital currency should be carried out steadily and orderly, emphasizing financial services in the real economy, improving efficiency and reducing costs, and preventing products that become excessive speculation. In particular, for the major economies, it is necessary to avoid substantial and irreparable losses. In the development process of digital currency, it should be fully tested and reliable before it can be promoted.

The emergence of digital currency has the inevitability of technological development. Traditional paper money and COINS may gradually shrink in the future, and may not even exist one day.

the future of paper money will be replaced by cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. But now the cryptocurrency is being opposed and forbidden by the government. But I still have a strong belief that the next 10 years will be popular, replacing paper money completely.

Now that some countries banned bitcoin it still strong. What more if all country accept it ?
The paper money is still money that we can use for every day living ang crytpo currency can use for any store who accept bitcoin .
