Most times I do feel that they're actually engaging in all these frivolities because if the fact that they can't even help themselves since they're extremely addicted to gambling.
I there should be measures that will be created gambling companies to regulate the excessiveness of gambling so they can help limit their gambling engagements but sadly, most gambling companies doesn't not limitations for their customers to gamble

Gambling sites run their business so they design their site's algorithm in such a way that gamblers don't follow their gambling limits, instead they gamble for long periods of time and become addicted to gambling to the point where they act like crazy and even after heavy losses, they quit gambling and gamble more. Play to recover that loss. But if one has good luck then his gambling loss is less but lucky gambler is rare

That’s how addiction works. There is always the need for more. With a gambling addiction, there is always the crave for playing more in the hopes of winning more.
Some people who are addicted to gambling know very well how dangerous it is and how it’s continuously affecting them financially. It’s like a need that they need to continually get. They know it’s dangerous and yet they can’t help themselves because they’re already addicted.

I have been in that situation before so I can understand what you are saying. Gambling addiction is like a spell, until you are bankrupt, you will never stop, the urge is just too strong. It is really a helpless situation and worse when the gambler do not have steady flow of income.

As much as it is possible, we should not allow ourselves to be addicted to anything f even gambling, it never always end well. I am lucky to have overcame the addiction. Even though I did not stop gambling, I have limited my gambling participation by making sure I gamble within my limits.

Yes, they can't be blamed for inviting us to continue gambling, but everything will depend on the decision we take. And if we finally decide not to gamble because we feel we've had enough gambling, they can't do anything other than let us rest. A person's physical endurance will definitely be different and we cannot force ourselves when we feel tired or have had enough gambling so we should stop gambling and watch our friends gamble. If we really have good self-control, we won't be affected by the fun our friends get, especially when we really need a break. It's like you are exercising and suddenly you want to rest and you immediately stop. Your friends can still invite you to play, but will you continue playing when you are physically very tired? I don't think so.

It's okay if there are differences in opinions and that's normal. Everything is very possible to happen and even though we agree, there is something different that could happen, which is even beyond our thoughts. So don't think too much about it.

In terms of opinions everything have thier own explanations, it's true that somewhere along the way there's similarities and there are differences, it's beyond that gamblers personal experienced or basing from someone that they've known who expereinced it, you don't need to worry about it that much all you need to focus is to work on your own, if what possible preventions that you can have to avoid having that same bad expreriened especially those who got addicted and do things beyond their limitations.

and do you all think it's possibly to develop a better sense of control over time and with discipline, maybe meditation exercises and things that teach you to look inside and learn more about yourself, put you more in contact with your thoughts and emotions?

the chase for money, be it by gambling or even by work is not something that can be fulfilled imo, there's always a bigger number, few are the ones who are able to say "I have enough"

And one of the funny thing about gambling is that no matter how many times they lose, they always have the psychology that one faithful day they will win a big money, however making them becoming so overwhelmed and clouded there judgement to realize themselves of the things they are losing because of the gambling.

Indeed, that overwhelming hope push them to continue trying up to the point where they already doing things that they not usually doing, some are selling their valuable assets just to have money to use for their gambling while others are loaning and push every resources that they can have and some do illegal things that's how far a person can go when addiction triggered inside.

Selling of properties is actually the most common trait of gambling addicts because they are simplest things to do since it's already your property. I have so many friends who got entangled in this habit and till date coming out of it is a major problem that seems almost impossible without the help of the right specialist to guide you out of this act. In the minds of addicts, gambling is the easiest way for them to make money. They will not accept their own stupidity, but satisfying that need will only make them lose more. Only when the cost is big enough to make them look back, or there is no longer a chance to look back, will this end. The irony is that gambling addicts always like to promise, and remember to never trust what the addict presents, it is just a lie, but of course there will be a few exceptions. Which ever or what ever be the reason for this, the issue of kidnap is not something that should be joked with, and personally, I think gambling casinos should deal with their sh*t between themselves and not get poor workers struggling to make ends meet involved, it is completely inhuman.

And yeah, you are right and I completely agree with you, being kidnapped off work shouldn't be an office issue but a family issue, except on occasions that the worker who I kidnapped is one that is very much loved by the boss and he or she decides to help for the worker to be released.

Addicts will not feel satisfied no matter what, even if they win it will not close the possibility for them to stop playing let alone leave gambling, because they think their pleasure is in gambling, even though they lose they will still gamble by doing everything to be able to return to gambling as usual, this has become a major factor for addicts.

That's the thinking that exists in addicts, even though they always lose but they don't stop there, even though the losses he has felt so much but he doesn't seem to think about it, only thinking about the victory they will get at some point in the future, even though it is not necessarily with that victory. But it cannot be hidden however addicts will find it difficult to get rid of their addiction that has been attached.

It is a mistake if gamblers do not want to acknowledge or appreciate the money they currently have because if they can think clearly, they can use that money for other things that are more beneficial for themselves and their families. And if they are a gambling addict, they will not think about this and will instead use the money to continue gambling but that does not guarantee them to win.

And gambling can always make gamblers return to gambling and spend a lot of money. Gambling can tempt them by providing attractive offers to all its customers and more gamblers will come back to gamble. We must control ourselves not to gamble too often and not follow what other gamblers do because each of us has different responsibilities.

Of course you are right gambling addict are not always satisfy with what they make from there gambling because there mindset all the time is how to make a huge money or becoming wealthy through their gambling as such they will be willing to spend any amount of money even borrowing in other to continue there gambling levels.

And one of the funny thing about gambling is that no matter how many times they lose, they always have the psychology that one faithful day they will win a big money, however making them becoming so overwhelmed and clouded there judgement to realize themselves of the things they are losing because of the gambling.

A gambling addict because of the compulsive desire to win back his losses and the possibility of getting dopamine only in gambling loses touch with reality and begins to perceive money only as a way to get access to what he needs. And this applies not only to gambling addiction, but also to other addictions. I have observed several times in land-based casinos as people like crazy because they lost all the money, but they wanted to continue to play more and more. It's pretty creepy.

Indeed, that overwhelming hope push them to continue trying up to the point where they already doing things that they not usually doing, some are selling their valuable assets just to have money to use for their gambling while others are loaning and push every resources that they can have and some do illegal things that's how far a person can go when addiction triggered inside.
