Gambling is very addictive but don't know why people don't notice quickly. It will start gradually before progressing to something you can't handle. Someone addictive to gambling can go to any lent in order to achieve his aim either by using all his saved money, school fees, and other Money kept for necessary things.

I thank God for removing the addictiveness of gambling in me, I remember those days I used all my money to gamble to the extent I have to use my school fees and at the end it was a sad story (I lost the game with just one cutting it)

The best advice is to go far away from gambling, once you are into it you can't have money to do other things except gambling. Though some people make money out of it but only few,

Well, congrats on getting you life back on track and order. By the way your English is good enough to understand what you are trying to say, however, it would be great if you checked those words you are not completely sure about, that would help you a lot.

If you don't mind, could you tell us a little bit more on how you managed to get rid of the impulse of gambling and risking money? Did you get professional help from a psychiatrist or perhaps some spiritual aid from your community? Your experience could help some people here by chance.

do you think gambling companies shouldn't exist, their use should be more strict or people should have their freedom to use it if they want but we should provide more educational resources for people to learn and protect themselves so they don't fall victims of their own lack of control?

interesting to think about it.

I think gambling companies are difficult to close if they have become a necessity for someone's life, but as you said there should be limits or socialization for players in the future so that users can limit their games so they don't become addicts.

of course there are measures the companies could do to help users not to get addicted but since this goes directly against their business model the best way is to each person to learn how to protect themselves and always be alert to not fall

addictions don't usually happen overnight, they take time, thoughts become habits...

excessive frustration lead you to be more aggressive and instead of quitting or stopping it generate the kind of mindset that you needed to proceed and continue, more time to gamble can convert into more money to deposit, the moment you realize that you are doing wrong decision making is when you already emptied your bankroll together with your save money or money that's not supposedly for gambling and supposedly for more important things that it was saved or prepared.

Yeah, that is the typical scenario of a gambler that believes they can be the lucky ones that will get the big wins if they keep playing the games.

Truth is that the math tells you that moat likely the gambler will end up with less money after they gamble.

With the person who are just using it as venue to have some entertainment and not a casual or a regular gambler they will just spare that money and will move on without trying to chase their losses in case after the session they lose everything that they allocate for that particular gambling participation.

But if you are not that kind of person, most of the time you will after those loses and you will try to find a way to recover your money, leading you to more potential amount of money to lose and leading you to do something that's not usual worse things that no one expect that you will do.
That is the right thing every gambler should do so that they will not try to chase previous losses and also not think about chasing wins. Maybe it will be difficult for those who are used to gambling to make money but that's what they have to do otherwise, they don't want to experience many losses from gambling. And if they still do that to win, they will experience a lot of loss, making them frustrated with their losses.

We must be able to prevent ourselves from experiencing something like that, especially if we have learned to control ourselves. We must prevent ourselves from experiencing excessive frustration because we have experienced so many losses. After all, it will affect our mentality and our relationships with the people around us.

At the end the problem of gambling is a personal thing, it is almost impossible to help someone that wants to continue gambling.

They will continue gambling until they lose all their money, and sometimes people will even loan money to try to recover their losses, only to lose it all all over again...

It's a dangerous addiction that can destroy many lives

actually there are various types of gambling addiction, and I actually call myself a gambling addict so I can't just get away from gambling but I don't really spend the money I have and I always use it sensibly because I can control myself and can set limits when I spend money to play I've also had experiences where I can't control my money when I'm having problems so I run to gambling to entertain myself but the gambling uses up my money very quickly and makes me more in trouble.
But as time went by I realized that if this continued to happen to my life I would not have a good future and I slowly started to be disciplined when gambling.
However, there are also gambling addicts who commit violence against friends or family when they experience financial difficulties or are experiencing continuous losses. This can cause someone to experience mental disorders and if this continues to happen it will cause unrest in society because it has created chaos in the environment where they live they live so they need help to help their addiction.

I think that the trick to all this is that there should always be something like autocontrol, it is known that in the game when a Person plays in the long term, his tendency will be to lose, but why? because the casino has an advantage, and it is huge, a casino is a business, it is a company that needs to win, and the way to win is through fun and they always implement the old classics, hence the house always wins, then we as players must be clear about this when playing, that we are giving money to the casino knowing that this money can be Multiplied or lost in its entirety, that when we lose and continue putting in more money and more money You are entering into a possible case of addiction, and that is the only thing that should always be avoided, I think your case is too good for you to have Brought it here, or what I think happened to you and because you reached a level of maturity, and that brings with it a lot of knowledge and experienc e, that you will have gone through many Processes to know what you know today, so that is something Pretty Good.

When we are comparing certain ways of thinking with what we call professional players, they are because they have very different playing habits, first because a person who has a lot of money, well I consider him Professional if he bets close to the value of $1M, for me that It is a Christmas, truly processional, but in the event that things are not done that way, the diction is not only for the followers of a relatively low economy, or economically bad, there are people who are very well, who do not like them. They hate Spending other People's money Because they know they will be left unemployed, so that type of Player can also be addicted, and there have been Many cases like this, where they have become so decapitalized that they no longer care, as I said, always in all Parts of the World. There are people who don't mind losing their Money , as long as they get some Happiness from the Game, well, Everything is Fine.

Casinos are meant to benefit the house. The odds, games, and atmosphere are all for their benefit. Players want thrills, you're right. However, control is essential. Self-control always matters. As you noted, constant donations may lead to addiction. Thats trap.

On to professional players. Your point is valid. They can still be addicted even though they bet more. The thrill of the game draws you, regardless of the stakes. Playing clever makes you think you're immune. Are you sure? Thats the hundred-bitcoin question. Always recognize the dangers and never gamble more than you can afford to lose.

The madness isn't limited to gambling addiction; it's all about addiction, not only gambling. In my opinion, addiction is some kind of extreme thing, even if you are addicted to good habits. This addiction to gambling does not have an age limit. Months ago, a sixth or eighth grader lost all his father's millions of savings. A public servant took a long leave and gambled for months, and he lost both his money and his job. These incidents seem stupid, but not really, because it's shocking to know that without any age limit, people can access these websites. Apart from gambling ads, we should give some awareness ads too.
Well, shit happens.
I don't think people who cannot control their gambling problems should have that much money in their accounts or in their pockets. Worst, he is a public servant which I believe should be a good figure for everyone. I guess we cannot really tell what a person is thinking especially if money is related.
It's true that gambling advertisements should be controlled because there are too many kids who are watching sports now because they like it, especially football. But, this type of problem is challenging to control simply because they are paying enough to be advertised and local television will definitely bite it if it can somehow make profits for their business.

Yeah, at the end of the day what matters is how much money you made minus how much you paid for the games.

A gambler will be addicted of they think they cam earn more than what they pay.

The hard truth is that the odds are against the gambler and the gambler, based on the maths, will eventually lose all their money against the casino
If the money we use to gamble exceeds the amount we win, we still lose. But we will find it difficult to recover those losses because we are gambling where the losses will come and be even bigger without us realizing it. A gambler will not think about how much money they have used for gambling because they just want to enjoy gambling as usual. But they should start calculating how many wins they got and compare it with the amount of money. That is if they want to reduce their gambling activities so they don't become a serious gambling addiction.

Really, addiction is a pretty awful thing. Addiction to anything, but especially to gambling, is bad. It's incredibly difficult to get rid of . The majority of men who are gambling addicts will even steal to play. It's hard for me to hide the fact that I'm a gambling addict before. Even when I didn't have any money, I tried to find some so that I could continue playing.

Thank God for my life, I don't gambling again.
Addiction or using it excessively is not good. But we as humans have the desire to get more so it is normal when we see many people becoming addicted to gambling. But we have a way to prevent gambling addiction from coming to us. We must control ourselves well while gambling and have no desire to chase bigger wins. If they cannot resist that desire, they will only experience loss, resulting in them experiencing frustration and anger because they have experienced that loss. And if you are no longer a gambling addict, you must be truly grateful and never repeat things that could make you become a gambling addict again.

Exactly, if they already affecting other people and they are messing with them, that's another level of addiction, and we all know that it can really push a person to something that they are not doing in a usual way, something that most the time surprises those people around them, they are unable to figure it out if why that addicted person manage to go that far and do things unexpectedly.

Yes, the problem starts with the gambler but it can quickly escalate to people connected to the gambler, like family and friends, and people that actually depend on that person.

It is a tricky thing, but sometimes people end up in a bad situation
It is true that if we have friends who like to gamble, of course we will be influenced by gambling, as well as the relationship between the gambler and the closest people or family will tend to follow in his footsteps, because what is shown is the victory and enjoyment experienced by the gambler, it is impossible for the gambler to showing his defeat in front of others, that was absolutely impossible. And subconsciously those who follow it will face new problems in their lives, because they assume that gambling will get the same luck as the gambler, even though that is not necessarily the case.

The addiction on everything leads to the bad output. If the person is addicted to the drinking,So he won’t controlled consumption of the drinking. So that person will spoil their life and their wife life. The drinking addicted person will do the fight in their home daily, they also spoil the peace of their environment.Likewise the gambling addicted will start to involve in all the crime to get money at the time of no money. The gambling addicted also start to get loan to play each game and which leads to big economic problem to that gambler.

Addiction is tough, really tough. All types of addiction have the potential to ruin lives. There is help available but sometimes people have to hit rock bottom before they really feel the urge to change.

I wouldn’t wish any type of addiction on anybody. You can break the cycle though, you just have to really want to.

The thing is, those people are really in need of help because they cannot stop their actions especially when there's no one with them that can advise them. I was there before and it's not a laughing matter like how others see it. that's why it's really good for someone who suffering from this kind of what we call a hidden disease which only someone other than those who suffer from it can see. If you have someone who is sincerely advising you to stop this kind of addiction, consider doing everything he said because it will really help you a lot slowly leaving your addiction. I really that no one will ever suffer this kind of problem anymore.

Indeed. Anyone can prevent, avoid, and recover from addiction. You just have to be willing and determined to do so. Because without those, you can't survive the gambling industry. Gambling can bring so many benefits if you'll use it to your advantage, but if you are irresponsible and isn't disciplined to make it work for your goodness' sake, then it's on you. Since anything done excessively can ruin you, just do it moderately.

Be reminded that prevention is always better than cure. But it isn't impossible to cure and treat addiction. Only that, it will take more time when you already developed it compared to preventing it from happening to you. It will be costly too. So I guess just choose your hard.
