usually youtubers have to disclose if they're doing paid promotions and youtube interface includes an option to mark there so they overlay a small sign in the video that says something like "includes paid promotion" but the truth is most of the youtubers don't do it

specially if the activity is a bit more shady or forbidden according to youtube guidelines for publicity.

That's right, I think it's mostly because lots of people don't really care about the hard work, or what happened behind the scenes, they just want to hear about the current winner, millionaires, successful people.

They're not interested in the day to day grind, the huge effort these people make. That's not attractive to most people because they realize they need actual work to get the benefits. It's a culture of wanting quick returns, and fast results, with no effort. Gambling is huge partly because of this. "Click a button and you can be a millionaire"

You are describing any addiction that takes lots of money, drug addicts are way more famous for stealing.

Those parents just have to do parenting. Not everyone wants to do that and blame tech or their childrens for addiction they are themselves creating by allowing too much unsupervised screen time. Some parents will allow their childrens to watch screens all the time because that keeps them quiet. And cutting that out for no apparent reason to child will be hard after they are addicted.

Addiction is never kids own fault as they are not responsible adults. And i don't need to mention gambling addiction isn't something that should affect to kids as they shouldn't be allowed to gamble in the first place.

Well, as the saying goes, "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king." As much as your stories are bone-chilling, they provide a good reason for us to gloat over our wise life choices.

You're talking about addiction as a result of personal failures, but let me introduce you to another perspective. Take a moment to appreciate how adept the human brain is at acquiring skills (like the kid operating a phone), albeit not always beneficial ones.

Still, tech addiction, really? Are we just gonna ignore all the marvels that technology has provided us? Without technology, we wouldnt be having this enlightened chat here, would we? Its all about how we use it, mate. Lets not throw out the baby with the bathwater.

You're right, people will only tells you the most interesting aspects of their stories by taking away the difficulty they experienced althrough the process, but i don't know maybe they usually do that to entice others or to push them into having same experience they've been through, i see it that after having both experience on the good and the bad, it is also expected that we take our personal decision base on the level of research we did, people are loosing in gambling but it will not be noised but when they eventually win luckily, the whole gist got aired.

People might trust streamers who already have a lot of followers because having many followers makes their reputation higher than other streamers. And that's what makes streamers able to have more people join using their referral link and easily share their referral link even with people who enter their channel. That's why we shouldn't immediately believe what the streamer says and look for more information before joining, rather than later regretting that we have chosen the wrong casino and causing us to experience prolonged stress.

We will not know whether the winning was real or whether they got it from another party who could make their followers believe and follow them to play on the casino site. But with his many followers who always watch his videos, some people will gamble based on what they see. And often, these people also want big wins like the streamer they watch. But sadly, it's just too hard for them, and if they manage to win some money, it's because luck comes to their aid. Otherwise, they would only lose a lot of money.

Yeah, I think that always has been the case with gamblers, now they are just doing the same online to try to get some money by promoting the casinos.

Most of the time you hear about the time someone won something, very rarely you will hear about the other times they ended up losing, which usually accounts for more than what they won.

Also streamers and other influencers are selling a false image of what gambling is about as they share their wins but they do not tell their audience that they were not risking their own money, and instead that money was given to them by the casino they are promoting, so they are literally gambling with free money, while anyone that watches those streams and tries to imitate them will find out they cannot get the same results as they are risking their limited capital instead.

It looks real and deceiving a lot of people since they tend to trust someone who's popular and trying out the game which they don't know they might get paid as an marketing strategy. And that's actually true most of the streamers uses their fame to fool their followers to try on that gambling game so once they click the link posted by the streamer then that's the time where they will earn money since referrals are huge in numbers, the more you invite new players the higher the bonuses. Not only that, they could just simply have an alibi if people tell that he's scamming by just saying he was paid to promote the casino or any gambling game and act like he's not aware from it. Just don't trust anybody you should do more research if you are interested in some gambling online.

The streamers attracted many gamblers to follow them by joining them using their referrals. The bonuses received by the streamers also became large, making them promote their casino more often. And when those streamers get big with lots of followers, they might find it easier to attract gamblers who have just watched their videos because there are already lots of people joining using their referrals.

And this is why the people who join the streamer must be able to control themselves because the streamer promotes the casino, while those people join because they are interested in gambling. And if they can't control themselves, they will only lose a lot, making them sad and regret it.

Unfortunately, the most reckless thing in this case is not robbing but committing suicide. Addiction has led many people to their grave by committing suicide. Alcohol addict may end up drinking to stupor, lose his mind and do anything stupid like driving recklessly that might lead to their death. Although, in the case of gambling addict, stealing is the most thing associated with them. I have witnessed where someone attempt to steal a bike, he was caught and burnt alive. At the end of the investigation, we heard that the victim was a gamble addict and we all assume that is the reason he tried to steal just to continue with his gambling addiction. That was not a direct suicide but more or less of suicide. Addiction is very bad in every aspect because the consequences is mostly negative and harmful.

The future generations parents have a lot to do to control their children from becoming addict. The advancement of technology seem to make it difficult for them already. I watched one video yesterday where a child less than one year old is already addicted to phone and he starts crying when her mother refused to give him the phone. He operate the phone randomly, play a video and start watching with utmost concentration. I don't know if the video was scripted, edited or whatever but that's the reality coming ahead of us.

that's how the current younger generation seems to not only apply in your country but also applies in my country, most of them start corrupt practices where their school payment money is used to play gambling so they have to lie to their parents that school payments have not been paid, this often happens in my country too because they are like addicted to gambling and end up doing things that are not good for minors to do.

It is important to teach children to stay away from gambling because of course their emotions have not really been controlled properly so it takes time to make them realize that when they eventually grow up they will regret their actions when they were young, so there will not be a good effect on their underage gambling other than committing corruption money to pay for school and skipping school.

It's like when you see a celebrity sponsoring a product. They most probably have never heard about it before and they are just doing it for the money, obviously.

People tend to buy things from people they trust, that's the whole point of "brand ambassadors" and things like that. Youtubers are doing the same, but in a more niche, localized way.

I'm sure several countries also have similar cases where many school children play truant just to go to internet cafes and play online games or play gambling games.
Many school children in my country do the same but the majority here prefer to play poker from local poker apps that have fiat basis.
But sometimes there is also control carried out by the authorities and then handing over the children to their parents.

This is the beginning of the breakdown of today's young generation because they cannot think properly for every activity that is carried out.

Addiction is one of the worst scenario in gambling, it's never an easy down path in the space. It's very difficult to deal with an addict, specifically pointing towards the direction of gambling addicts. These set of individuals are ready to gamble, ready to do anything as long they profound pleasure in doing so. Furthermore, alot of individuals have been really addicted to their phones lately, they can do without their phones, they carried it even to the toilets, I'm really grateful that I don't get involved in these listed addiction, already completed to see the brighter side of the world.

 The addition in gambling can make people do terrible things that would make people wonder why gambling was introduced into the society, the thing is gambling is not a bad idea but when you start doing it excessively that's when the it becomes a problem, because too much of everything they say, ain't good and one bad thing about an addiction is that it's very easily developed but sometimes very difficult to quit depending on how deep one has gotten into it,  and it could get bad to a point that when you lack funds to satisfy your addiction for it, it could lead you to do terrible things like stealing, selling valuable properties, taking huge loans from banks, or even killing, I've seen cases where people say they've been soaked into the act of gambling and there's nothing nobody could do to make them change those are the kind of people that could carry out dubious acts just to satisfy there addictions for gambling
 Also I've witness a case where a young lad was almost killed through jungle justice just because he staked on games for free in a local betting shop and since he was a regular customer the worker allowed him to keep playing thinking he would pay, he played up to 10k in my local currency but couldn't clear his debt and decided to steal the cell phone of another customer to wager and bet more, unfortunately he was caught and given the beaten of his life if not for some local authorities that came to his rescue, imagine how a young boy would had been wasted all in the name of trying to satisfy an addiction for gambling which made him to steal, that's beyond madness.

you are missing one type of addiction, that is online gaming, there have been many cases in my place where school children have skipped school just to play games in internet cafes and also bet online sports (fantasy sports) there

Whatever it is, the so-called addiction will surely lead everyone to stupid things, such as cheating and the most reckless thing is robbing

Sorry to say this  but you(not as in you that i am replying to) must be the most gullible if you actually believe all that you see or watch those streamers do , trust me when i tell you that most of those wins, and even the account balances are nothing but make believe, nothing is real, the winning is already programmed by the casino that the streamer is promoting, the account balance is also either inflated by the casino or is the casinos account, and the streamer was only given access to it for that stream.

Like you said, those tactics are just a way to motivate watchers of that live stream to create an account, if they don't already have one, make a deposit and play on the casino, in a bid to see if they can duplicate the same kind of winnings they just watched live on the stream.

There are some streamers who may be funded by the casino site itself and even the winnings are arranged, I've seen about articles like that that every streamer or influencer cooperates with casinos by making winning videos like that live or regular videos, so it's common and people know about it it's not a figment.

So actually it is a marketing technique where casinos can take advantage of influencers and streamers to attract new users to gamble and certainly will achieve their marketing targets, it's good that you don't have money at that time maybe if you have money of course you will be lured into gambling at that time and be influenced by the promotions they do through streamers and influencers.  

We can't tell if how those streamers set it up, but one thing is for sure,

They are doing it to attract gamblers to use their referrals and bring more people to use the site. It will bring them viewers
plus the ref bonus that they will going to receive from the casino itself, meaning to say, whatever it is money will flow for
them, that's what matter for them and they will continue to seek for those followers to earn more.
