I would also prefer btc over alts as this is best option which provides you future guarantee of returns while all other altcoins maybe out of the market at that time.The community and demand is strong which carry on the price with it as whenever term crypto is heard the first thing that comes to anyone mind is bitcoin so you see how popular it is.Secondly if you are new and have not researched about lot of altcoins then why risk with them as many are scam also so for newbies this bitcoin investment is the best option with little risk.

Bitcoin and some top altcoins are indeed profitable to hold for long period. Bitcoin is the primary coin and should be our focus when we invest in crypto, but we cant deny that some altcoins are also worth it to invest in. Diversifying is not a bad idea, just make sure that you dig deeper to avoid shitcoins. Because if you're greedy to earn huge in snap then you might end up investing in wrong coins. Nevertheless its a must to know what you're getting into so you can understand the nature of the investment.

Well, choosing the best coins to make a profit is really a good idea and that is why the majority had chosen Bitcoin out for the other cryptocurrencies. Yet, we can't just put everything to a single investment like Bitcoin, and simply spreading our funds to altcoins is much more preferred. But, it wasn't just all about choosing the right coins and choosing Bitcoin, it all matters on how we manage our investment because even choosing them couldn't guarantee a profit if we make bad decisions.

You are right, if you have a strong hands to hold then Bitcoin is the best investment for you, I will also suggest to also have another investment from altcoins which show high potential last year 2021, I prefer on investing on other coin also so that I will not be bored on waiting for Bitcoin to rise up soon.

Indeed, bitcoin will be the best and most suitable cryptocurrency for those who are into long term investing and for those who are willing to hold and have the patience it takes. If someone ask me why bitcoin out off all dozens of other coins, then my best answer is that bitcoin is the most reliable coins on the market now to invest in since it was created a decade ago and it is already proven overtime that it will always recover, so you're are guaranteed that it won't go to waste if you could just handle it correctly.

I have been working with bitcoin for so long now, bitcoin is the most reliable coin and safest coin .I can invest in bitcoin without any panic and I am used to bitcoin in different states of the market values, not that other altcoins are not good or profitable ,their are good altcoin but I can't compare any coin to bitcoin.

I make investment in altcoin but I do more investment in bitcoin because of how reliable bitcoin is, other altcoin are just clone of bitcoin, in the cryptocurrency market bitcoin is in charge.

Not decrease for a long time? Are you sure you are ready to invest in bitcoin and other crypto currencies? Back in 2017, bitcoin went up as high as 20k and went down back to 3k. The same thing can happen again. In fact, the price went down from $60k to $36k. So always be prepared for the price to crash.
Most of the top altcoins shouldn't be disappointing you unless you have decided to invest in one of those shitcoins that promised you a lambo.

Agree. Bitcoin is the best crypto for investment, moreover for long term investment / holdig. We have known the value of Bitcoin, the trust, and also the worth of BTC itself.

Thousands of alts have been abandoned and exited in this market, and yet, bitcoin is still maintaining its top position. It is more than a decade that no coin or token has replaced bitcoin, and I think, no alt will ever replaced its position for the next 5 years or so. This is why if you are a beginner in this market, better explore the bitcoin market first and then, just go with other alts once you are equipped with knowledge that may aid you in making a mistake with alt investments.

I wouldn't advice the OP to invest in altcoin especially that he is disappointed with those alts he have invested before. He should stick to his plan and buy more Bitcoin when he have the chance. Hodling Btc is the safest thing you can make in investing to cryptocurrency.

Unarguably yes, btc is the most reliable invest than any other coins you can think of, with btc you don't have to fear of what will happen to the project long term and your funds, btc price can fluctuate but the fact remains it always recover and do better than the previous price, after so many years of btc price movement there is no need for people to panic a lot during times like this, it is a matter of few months and the market will come back up.
