At the moment, the cryptocurrency market is experiencing hard times. I think most coins will survive, but little-known projects will die.
Of course,replace the position of bitcoin in the future is ETH and NEO, both coins look guaranteed and many enthusiasts other than that ETH and NEO have a very good platform
Among the coins listed, probably ether and ripple have the closest support community to btc. Though i'm not saying it's close at all but comparing the other alts, these two would likely be battling for the number 2 spot. Of course btc will be the top coin for a long time.
The fact is that Bitcoin has reached such a level that no one can match it in terms of capitalization and pricing. Although there are quite weighty arguments in favor of ethereum, as the leader of the cryptocurrency market. This is a very serious application, and I am inclined to believe that whoever will be able to implement this opportunity in the future.But in reality, bitcoin is still number one, no one has shifted it, even though Ethereum and XRP are still fighting over possession.
We look for the future, and I still support if bitcoin still affects other altcoins.

number one crypto is still bitcoin right now because the price is higher than the coins below it, so there is no other crypto that can match its value until now.
Bitcoin will still be king for a very long time. But I personally also doubt about Bitcoin in the future. And in the future, everything can happen including Bitcoin which has decreased. And his position will be replaced by another coin.
bitcoin can be shifted from number 1 according to coinmarketcap, and I think that can shift it only ETH or maybe XRP with the manipulation of the marketcap

For now bitcoin is number one and it seems that for next few years btc will still dominate the market and continue to be at number 1. We might require some exceptional coin which have some of the unthinkable features to that coin which can boost the demand in the market and thus can come near or overtake the price of the btc.

in order to be number one people should pick one currency that they think would be number one. I don't think anyone can deny that bitcoin will continue to be number one but other than that I think eth has good following and support but its shaky.

There is some coins were available with much faster transaction and less fee when compared to bitcoin but the trust is heavily on bitcoin that others so if a coins want to create more hype than nitcoin then it need to be recognized more.

due to the fact that many users of cryptocurrency have lost their funds, since they invested at the end of 2017, that is, the opinion that Bitcoin is losing its relevance among investors.
