Whenever I win, I usually feel this strong urge to gamble more and also increase the amount I'm using to gamble. I do fall for this urge most times and the result is always disastrous as I end up losing the money I won with great pain and regrets. The only time I can say I have won is when I make withdrawals and possibly use the money for something else. As long as the money is still in the platform, there is a high chance of using it to gamble more. I decided to create this topic to see how other people manage their winning in gambling. If I notice a better approach, I will switch immediately as I don't want to continue experiencing the pain of winning and later losing the money again.
Most gamblers can relate to this, including myself. I used to do this a lot, and I still do it sometimes but I have learned to control the urge a lot, and now when I reach the withdrawal threshold it means that when the wagering requirements are met and I know I can withdraw the funds I have and I have more than what I had initially deposited, I go ahead and withdraw it because I know if I don't do it quickly, I will be tempted to gamble a bit more and eventually lose the funds.

I know a lot of people who still do this, I see that they have managed to win some money that they can withdraw and use, I even tell them to withdraw sometimes but when they don't do it thinking that they can earn more money with it, they tend to lose the money back to the house and then regret.

The real winning of gambling is withdrawals.
For me, those who win in gambling are those who can control themselves and are grateful for the victory they achieve, right? That's the real victory in my opinion.
Very many of those who gamble lose control and carry out gambling activities brutally and greedily and are not grateful for what they got before, so they will end the game with losses and losses.

Withdrawals are another means of gambling, if someone can control themselves and win automatically, they can easily make withdrawals, Many people get caught up in re-betting wanting to win more, as if luck is on their side, otherwise the initial winnings will be a real loss.

the feeling of wanting to gamble again on the winnings that have been obtained is a problem that gamblers often experience, and many gamblers fall into this, perhaps because they think that they can get more if they gamble the money.  and this is where it is important for gamblers to regulate so that they can gamble more responsibly and not gamble more than they can afford.  if you have won, you should just withdraw immediately, because that is the best thing.

Well I'm also sure the majority of gamblers must have felt that way where when they managed to win in any amount then usually there will be something like a whisper into the mind that indirectly encourages them to continue gambling, and usually in these situations often gamblers feel that a bigger win is close, I don't know what the exact reason is but certainly that's what I feel when I'm in that situation.

And that is one of the temptations in gambling in the form of whispers that will usually continue to haunt the mind of a gambler especially when they manage to achieve one of the wins. In this case, in my opinion, a fairly effective solution so that you can avoid this is to maintain awareness within yourself about gambling where victory will not always be in our favor every time.

Almost all gamblers always increase their bets every time they are in a winning position, curiosity and the urge to get a bigger win always arises in the gambler's mind because they consider their condition at that time to be lucky, greed often forgets the loss which makes everything return to the dealer. Regret always arises when the money that has just been won runs out, at that time the thought begins to arise that if I stopped the game and immediately withdrew the money, maybe the money could cover other needs. If you continue like this, you will never taste victory. Change the way you gamble by securing some of the money you just won. If you lose and the money you bet runs out, at least you will have the money you just secured after making a withdrawal.
Completely agree with you bud, and this is exactly what I said in my last comment on this thread, for I have my own personal experiences regarding this matter.

I've one time played slot game on a telegram casino, I started the game with as little as 0.2 ton, after playing for a while, having minor winnings here and there which gradually increased my ton balance on the casino, I lucky hit a major win which 20 ton coins, I was very happy and was going to continue playing, but after some thoughts, 8 decided to first withdraw 15 ton to my private wallet, and then to continue playing with about 7 ton that is left. I continued playing and later on, before I realized what I was doing, I have lost all the 7 ton coins, I just quit the game and made away with my 15 ton which I initially withdrew.

Making a withdrawal of some amount of the money won, before one continues to gamble is indeed, one of the best strategies to secure one's winning so he or she doesn't end up gambling and losing it all back to the casino.

Making a fresh deposit each time is a pretty clever move. It creates a kind of mental reset, separating your winnings from your gambling money, and helps you keep tabs on your spending.

Of course, hitting it big is a rush, but it's not always about the money. Sometimes the best memories are made just by playing the game.

It depends. If, after winning, the gambler decides to withdraw his profit and take a break for some hours or a day before depositing a fresh amount to start again, that will create a fresh mindset and mental rest like you said, but doing otherwise will be contrary to what you said.

And that is why I usually argue when people tell me that everybody is actually gambling for profit-making purposes. To some gamblers, winning is not just a top priority, but the fun that they derive from it is of uttermost importance to them. All the time in the past that I went out to gamble with my friends, to be honest, losing was not really a big deal for us because, if it were, we would have been reckless or addicted because we would just be striving for winning, but that was not the case. I enjoy the fun more than anything else.

It's a trap that many gamblers can't get out. Those that can't move out their winnings have the urge to gamble again because they feel greedy.

At those winning moments, they'd thought that luck is still with them and that's why they think that there's no need for them to take that profit they've made for their bets.

It's hard to defeat our minds when we're solely focus on the money. Money and winning are two different things. But we do get money when we win but if it's the thought of winning, you really have to cash out and enjoy your money as you have taken both of it.

For me the real winning in gambling is when we are making profit then withdraw it because withdraw only but if we are not making any profit is not a winning Smiley
On the other side, however, I have to agree that there is always strong urge to bet more than what we used to be when we are on winning momentum.
I think it is normal as it is what we used to call it by greed, sometime greed may lead us into bigger winning but most of the time it leads us into a complete lost LOL.
What I used to do when I'm on winning is that I withdraw my initial deposit + profit but not the whole balance, then play with the rest.

Well, you are right that the real wining in gambling is withdrawal of profit and that is why I don't make the mistake of spending my small wins on gambling again. Any time I win in gambling, I will definitely withdraw all the money and spend it on something else and when I want to gamble again, I will just make a fresh deposit but that doesn't happen all the time, because I sometimes leave small amount in my balance and only withdraw the amount that I want to use.

But most times when I am out at a land base casino with my friends, we rarely go home with any money that was won because we will continuously gamble with the money that was won until everything has exhausted. It happened a long time now.
Maybe that's just considering winning over our egos in gambling, it's clear that withdrawing profits is not easy, it takes a lot of determination and decisiveness and of course, it was a success, but it could also be called a storm that only temporarily stopped, any similar victory soon became a failure when it once again returned to gambling. Withdrawing money does not completely give a perfect win, it is necessary to withdraw money and stop the game completely, that win will be more complete but it's not an idea that gamblers appreciate

It's crazy how the high of winning can make you feel like you're on a hot streak, even though we all know luck can change in a heartbeat.Making a fresh deposit each time is a pretty clever move. It creates a kind of mental reset, separating your winnings from your gambling money, and helps you keep tabs on your spending. Those casino nights with your friends sound like a lot of fun! It's great that you can enjoy the atmosphere and company even when the cards don't fall in your favor. And having a set point to walk away is a smart way to keep things under control without killing the fun.
At the end of the day, gambling is all about having a good time.  By setting limits and sticking to them, we can make sure it stays that way. Of course, hitting it big is a rush, but it's not always about the money. Sometimes the best memories are made just by playing the game.

Most likely you are not the only one facing this problem. This is a very common problem. I think it’s worth withdrawing some of the money right away and paying for the bill/buying something you need. That is, so that you can see the result of your game. You are right, the longer money remains on the platform, the greater the likelihood of losing it.
You need to develop a strategy that you will follow if you win, and which you will not violate even under the influence of emotions, and this is very important. Sometimes we create a strategy, but under the influence of emotions we violate it. In this strategy, distribute the part of the money that you will withdraw from your wallet when you win.

the title says it all mate , Have the same experience here like in Physical casino that when I still have this chips , i kept in betting this is why i go cashing out once my funds goes more than double.

I remember up to now I still have some small funds sitting in my casino wallets and yeah now I can manage to keep those there without the urge to gamble again.
Maybe this means I am mature enough to learn my lessons and knows how to control my urge .

I can understand; as gamblers, we get tempted to place bets. The best way to counter this is to set a profit limit or target. Once the target is achieved, make the withdrawal. If you keep your balance in the casino, then you will eventually get the temptation to place a bet and will continuously want to make more money. Hence the best thing is to just withdraw the funds after a certain amount is made in profits. Withdraw the initial amount you used, and if you really want, then gamble with the previous game’s profits.

that's right, If we just leave the money and what we earned in our gambling accounts, there is a great possibility that we will return to our gambling activity from time to time, unlike when you only have a set bank roll and only spend a limited amount, you will learn to limit your spending and placing bets. Withdrawing the winnings is really the best way to do so that we can monitor how much we have won. As a gambler, what I really do is I take all the winnings and I only leave the initial gambling fee in my account, it will helps me to handle my money in a very smart way so that I don't overspend or overbudget on gambling expenses. My strategy is how I will grow the initial money that I put in my account, so that there will be gambling in the next sessions because I will never deposit any fees again.

I completely agree with you, most of us are the same... when we win we start playing even stronger and we end up losing everything. Been there, and done that so many times. So definitely yes, winning is when we withdraw and do something nice with that money.

The only good approach is to withdraw when we make some nice profit, to not chase for more... that craziness that catches us when we get into the money. That means we need to learn to stop, withdraw the money, and give it another try when we cool our heads. Again with the starting amount. I try to stick to that, but I slip often.

Right, and maybe I would say one of the reasons about why the majority of us continue gambling sessions with various decisions that tend to be aggressive when we have managed to get a win is because of the greed that is sometimes very difficult to eliminate in the mind. So of course as you understand here that it is not a real victory if in the end they lose again due to applying greed in themselves, meaning that the real victory is only when someone has actually gone through the process of cashing out and has seen the amount of money in real or physical form.

Of course having the approach of withdrawing at the right time such as when winning is a good approach to gambling, because this is the same as you limit yourself to avoid some unwanted possibilities such as losing the amount you have previously won which is often experienced by gambling addicts which ultimately makes them regret and emotions lead them to make more crazy decisions without consideration and ability to accept the situation. Gambling is always about two things where if you don't win it means you lose, so obviously there must be a time for us to take advantage of the winning situation by cashing in and enjoying it.

It is a universal property of the human psyche that we love to get carried away. We may get a random win and it seems to us that this is not an accident, but a pattern. We believe that if we play a few more times, we will have exactly the same outcome as in the first case. We only believe in the best outcomes, and bad scenarios have to happen to someone else. We are simply fooled by chance. If you have a desire to play again after winning, then you definitely need to stop. Most likely the loss will be crushing.

...If I notice a better approach, I will switch immediately as I don't want to continue experiencing the pain of winning and later losing the money again.

It is only my opinion,.but if you believe losing money to the house or to the casino, then perhaps you should take a long break from.gambling or even consider to adjust your wager down, in order to relieve your grief on lost money.
Because, if we are honest we ourselves, as long as we continue to gamble, in the long term we are going always going to lose money to the house, even if we start to withdraw part of your  earnings... we will keep depositing eventually and lose more than those withdrawals.

OP, do not forget gambling is a business, usually big and luxurious casinos are part of such business and to keep such establishments going it is necessary for the owners of the casinos to guarantee they will have a constant profit off gambling.

I would understand of you do not want to quit completely, but consider those options I mentioned. What is the point of gambling if you are going to feel grief like that in the end?

If you cannot stop your urge to gamble, you better withdraw all your money after you win it; as long as you have cash in your account, you will always think of your bankroll and will always think of going back to try your luck, thinking that you can still win.
Those who win and can't stop believe in the saying strike while the iron is hot, something that a gamble should not follow as it will lead to losing what you have won; you are not always sure of what happens after your last roll.
