I think the name is irrelevant to the reason why bitcoin is number 1, there are a lot of cooler name from alt coins, the reason why bitcoin is number one is because it is the first digital currency, and now bitcoin got a lot of user which makes it stronger and becoming the number 1 crypto currency

Thats is plainly wrong.
This name Bitcoin is good, but its biggest value that it was brake trough technology. Thats it, it was first and revolutionary. Even if it was named ecoin or litecoin or anything, it would be as good as bitcoin because this reasons.

Bitcoin, this name for me sounds beautiful but I am sure many others will not agree and call it a lame name. Anyway the reason why bitcoin will always be the number one is simple, convenience, privacy, ease of use and low fees. Attributes makes something number one and not the name.
