Yes, it' s my project.
Educational documentaries are good but when is someone gonna make one that excites people? Bitcoin/Crypto excites people and the potential is tremendous and exiting but so far nobody has tried to capture that for the audience. It's like buying school books, you do it a few times cause you hear it's important then realize it's a waste so you never do it again.
Totally agree, this was my first experience in a studio, watching the editing process, realising too late the value of questions I hadn't asked, threading together what we had to tell a story via this medium, and working with(?) a preditor. What I ultimately wanted was a quirky animation illustrating the world Craig described, parodying the characters I was surrounded by during the year it took to bring to the screen. THAT's where the story is.
Green to this industry, focused mostly on many private, local, national and world wide drama's playing out during the time it took to create, I was horrified to hear quotes complete with claims for creative right to MY IDEA. Apparently my value for money ratio was quite skewed, very funny considering that some thought bitcoin "hype/bubble/will never work", and were there for the story that captured it's demise. Left me thinking there has to be a way around the 'experts', especially the many that kept cropping up in bitcoin land.
I'm putting the project down as a learning experience, an extremely valuable one in many ways
