Long time, brother.

Bitcoin may face some rocky moments this summer but I think it has too much money and momentum behind it to fail anytime soon.  Longer run is too hard to tell but short term, Bitcoin should sky rocket to unbelievable levels.  After this whole scaling issue is done with in the coming months.

I have a feeling bitcoin will be around forever, truly like some digital gold.
Some countries will embrace it, some reject it.
It doesn't care for patents, it can and will flow through borders.
And if you want to really remain a part of it, the day will come when YOU must move your arse through a few borders too.

I don't have a link to all the patents but NewsBTC just wrote a piece making Dr. Wright look evil like he's trying to destroy Bitcoin.  Personally I think he's gonna bring war, just like the stegankgraphic messages he posted which everyone ignored and laughed at.

NewsBTC talks about some of the patents and apparently Dr. Wright plans to go crazy and file for some 400 patents over the coming months.  Like I've been saying, it's gonna be a hot summer!!!

400 Patent Applications On The Agenda

[NewsBTC] - This past week, EITC Holdings Ltd – which is run by two of Wright’s associates – filed another 11 patent applications. Even if some of these claims were granted, it would be a significant turn of events in the history of Bitcoin. With so many financial institutions exploring this technology, Wright would make a killing from all of these patents.

Among the applications are projects such as an online content paying mechanism – similar to micro tipping with Bitcoin – and a blockchain-based IoT operating system. Some sources indicate EITC Holdings is planning to apply for a total of 400 different Bitcoin and blockchain-based applications in the coming months.

Edit:  It's amazing to watch those who worshipped and sucked the most Satoshi dick all these years are now the ones mocking Dr. Wright.  What a great way to come out; to allow the fakes to expose themselves.  I've never been a Bitcoin or Satoshi guy yet I immediately recognized what I saw as the real deal!!!

(Reuters) - Craig Wright, the Australian who claimed to be the inventor of bitcoin, is attempting to build a large patent portfolio around the digital currency and technology underpinning it, according to associates of his and documents reviewed by Reuters.

Since February, Wright has filed more than 50 patent applications in Britain through Antigua-registered EITC Holdings Ltd, which a source close to the company confirmed was connected to Wright, government records show.

[Cointelegraph] - As Bitcoin sees a stratospheric rise over the last few days, increasing by $100 in just a day, users have noted a corresponding increase in transaction confirmation delays.

More than 250,000 bitcoins were waiting to move at one point yesterday, according to tradeblock, currently valued at almost $200 million. Tradeblock’s mempool, which tracks confirmation delays, reached an all-time high (ignoring last summer’s capacity tests) of 45MB. Tens of thousands of transactions and hundreds of thousands of bitcoins continue to be stuck for hours or days.
