Even if they want Independence, they should have to wait until Brexit is a little further along the way. It is uncertain, at best, what the effects of Brexit will be on the world economy. If this might be an event that tips us into a global recession, then, let's not hasten it, and let's not throw all our marbles on the ground, just because we spilled a few. Let's do this thing like we have some good sense.

But on the topic of national spirit, I see such a strong culture here that I don't perceive it will be subverted by the presence of Muslims. But, that's conjecture.

It seems to me that this is a mistake. After Scotland will secede from the UK it may face the same problems that Britain after a brexit. While they were part of the great state with them were considered and they were able to defend their interests. Who in the EU will have to reckon with the opinion of a small state?
