this is a really crazy match . but really good for the fans in the stadium. the fans will see a lot of goals today.

I'm surprised that Italy plays so well. The team is completely new after failing to qualify for the World Cup. Only 4 players are still with them from those games. Wilfried Gnonto in the forward with 18 years, this is also surprising. But they are doing well, or better than The team in last year.

Results in Nations League are a turn off for most people. Very random!
Italy is leading with 2 goals vs Hungary right now with 20 minutes left in the game making Hungary comeback very hard.
I agree that Italy should try to win something and this league is an opportunity regarding how pity the performance of most teams..

I m even surprised seeing Germany scored 2 over England, and Italy 2 against Hungary I never expected this to be so but was wondering how England was given 1 zeros from my observation they aren't making move,  Germany plays more confidently without being in any pressure.

60 minutes of time passed and Italy now took the lead with a score that was quite difficult for Hungary to follow.
2 Goals from young Italian players Raspadori and Dimarco seemed to be the end for Hungary because it was difficult for them to follow behind with their current condition even though the Hungarian resistance and the games they played were actually always entertaining.

Think we have to understand that beating England post Euro doesn't really say as much about the qualities of the winning team more than it does about the English. Dropping your most creative players by far (TAA and Maddison) despite not being able to create a single goal in what will now be 6 games?

Hungary a decent team and being in League A is testament but Italy, while having a somewhat barren streak themselves, remember came on the back on an incredible run of form, and with youngsters lighting up Serie A.

I had no doubt that Italy would beat Hungary today, but I didn't risk betting on them to win because there's a lot of unpredictability in the Nations League in recent matches... Deschamps needs to get back the team to their best form because the recent results they're having is totally unacceptable by the fans. France have lost and draw several games even though it's not essential but they need to start winning games. Deschamps formation would have come into a well effective action only if he's favorite players were present in the games. The world cup coming up and I expect the defending champions to come back in actions because they still have the necessary number and qualities of Players.

Who knows... England haven't won a game in this group and with such crazy fan support they have to do it tonight! Although I also want Germany to win because it's not a big game for England, but I think tonight will be a battle... And I'm more and more thinking that FIFA and UEFA have produced a monstrous inflation in football - too many games, too many tournaments. A significant part of them can be removed and no one will grieve.

Southgate stated that the World Cup was the most important thing for the team and he wouldn't be put under pressure by England administration after relegating from their Nations League group by the Italy defeat. He is right actually but the fans don't think the same of course. He made another statement on this topic that he understood the reaction from the fans. I don't know if you are right about Deschamps' position on the importance of the League of Nations, but if you are right it is a very dangerous position. After a series of failures in an "unimportant" tournament, fans will expect the team to perform not just better, but much better in an important tournament, and it seems to me that if France does not reach at least the semi-finals in the World Cup, this will lead to Deschamps being fired.
Even in an unimportant tournament, such star players, simply due to their level, should have better results than France currently has. This is a sign that the coach is doing something wrong.

My expectation is a 2-1 win for England in this. Hence England win at 2.42 and both teams to score at 1.76 are my preferences.

Hungary - Italy is an even more difficult match to predict. Hungary have improved their performance incredibly much. They beat England and Germany both before but lost to Italy. Maybe it is time to have revenge on them now. Hungary would play a controlled game and look for benefiting from their chances in the best way. If they get ahead first it would be quite difficult for Italy to score against them. Because Hungary are very good at maintaining their score advantage recently. They are very durable. I'll still give both teams to score a chance at 2.14.

The English team had already been relegated so winning their match today in front of 90K fans at Wembley stadium wouldn't make a difference, they just needed to win for consolation and perhaps help Gareth Southgate to access as well as select his 26 man squad for the upcoming World Cup in November, this was a poor outing for the English team so far winless in five matches is absolutely incredible for a team whose players were selected from one of the best league in the world with so many quality players in their defence, midfield and attack yet the team struggle against country such as Hungary.
