No big team really played on top level on Nation League this year just because of World Cup and in order to prevent important players from getting injured they chose to manage some players or play them a fewer minutes than usual. Nationes League is not so attractive and it's understandable but for some low classified teams , this is a chance to catch last spots for Euro so yea...another factor of why we see surprises in results.

On the contrary, we saw many of the big team struggled during the qualifiers too, so it's not just because of the world cup they're playing really terribly, all these players are all going back to their respective club sides and have around 10+ games to play before the world cup gets underway, if they're having injury scare for just two fixtures now, how will they go about the over 10 matches to be played for their club sides ? and some of them have not even secured a seat in the world cup squad, so this is the time you'd expect them to want to impress their coaches to deserve a spot in their respective squad lists for the tournament, So, I really don't buy the idea of the big teams not playing to their beat strengths.

I dare not put my bet for France, right from the first phase of this league, I discovered that France are not interested in the league and they cannot hide it. It is purely written over their body. But I am thinking that France is making a big mistake. This poor performance they are recording now will surely affect them during the world cup. This is the only competition of the team before the world cup.
They can't play well in the Nations League and the reason is still the same as before because they consider this just as training and looking for the right scheme, but on the other hand this does not eliminate the fact that Didier Deschamps is still confused with the squad they have.
Betting on the Faroe Islands - Turkey match was very risky I think. Because Turkey already guaranteed the lead before the final matches and Faroe Islands had no danger of relegating from the group also. When it comes to today's matches, the most attracting one to me is Netherlands - Belgium. There is nothing ended for any team also which can make this match more attracting to watch. But Netherlands are in a pretty advantageous condition because they aren't losing their lead unless they lose to Belgium by at least three goals. However I don't think that Netherlands will even lose easily. While they are in a strong shape it is difficult for Belgium to weaken them very much mentally. It isn't easy to pick a result for this match when it comes to betting.

I'm really shocked now. I was really frustrated with Belgium's performance today. When they had a chance for the lead they should have tried harder to benefit from it. Of course it wasn't going to be easy but at least they would have got a win here. Instead Netherlands won by 1-0 and my bet lost as a result.
