The games will be played without crowds and the most determining factor when National teams are playing for me is the supporting of home fans.If the stadiums will be empty there will be no real emotion and maybe the players will not feel that motivated.I don’t expect a lot of beautiful games from this league.
I agree. The games would be dull compare to the earlier games held at the stadiums and gymnasiums back when pandemic isn’t present.
There would be minimal to no audience because of safety precautions. I think the audience support and ambiance contribute a lot when it comes to the player’s performance, hence would make it a factor for winning or losing their game.
It matters to a player when you feel someone on the audience is cheering for you to bring home the bacon. On the other hand, i guess the players were well-aware about the situation and did their best to train to be able to win. There is no guarantee of winning just because someone is rooting for you. BUT it does help the players feel more motivated, inspired and dedicated. Determination to win whether there are audience or none is needed especially with what we’re facing right now.
Nonetheless, I’m hoping for the best with this upcoming league.
Such a high victory of Portugal is only the result of their great desire and motivation to win that match, and on the other hand almost complete lack of motivation on the other hand to prevent it. The heavier defeat was avoided due to the very good reactions of the goalkeeper Livakovic and the whole series of misses by the Portuguese in the first half - and it should not be overlooked that CR was sitting in the stands.
As for Modric and Rakitic, both of them are, as far as I know, completely healthy and ready to play - but the fact that they can choose which games to play and which not, is at least unfair to the country for which they play for and to their teammates. It would be fairer to say, as after the 2018 World Cup, that the League of Nations is not a priority for Croatia, so let only those players who invite themselves to the national team play.
If this attitude is repeated on Tuesday, France will have only easier training and a very nice goal difference after the game.

Wow, we (Croatia) really got hammered yesterday. It was horrible to watch, the quality of the players we have now but are getting old and the new ones coming in is huge.

To be honest, ever since the 2018 World Cup in Russia we haven't played a real, great game and we're struggling all the time.
Whether the problem is in the years of the main players, the shift of the generation, the lack of motive, I do not really know but we have not seen the "right" Croatia for a long time.
I thought after that disaster and the big defeat against Spain we wouldn't see anything like that again but I was wrong.
It seems we need to prepare again for years of waiting for new big results and a new big team.

Yeah true. Today Germany vs Switzerland is the best game although I suppose most people think that Germany will win.
There is also Hungary vs Russia and Spain vs Ukraine which are quite interesting and in which the final results may be less predictable imo

I am thinking of combining Germany with a 1X on Bosnia tomorrow vs Poland. I like the odds, and Poland without Lewandowski isn't the same team. It's going to be a high-risk bet though since Pjanic is also unavailable for the home team.

Today in the UEFA Nations League, Manchester united players dominated the headlines in a very boring and frustrating friendlies that is rewarded with a trophy lol. With Bruno having a man of the match performance for Portugal, While Martial comes on to win the Penalty against Lindelof in the match between Sweden and France which Griezmann blazed over the bar. Greenwood also comes on for England and they won a penalty kick. A good day for a Manchester united fan.

Odds for France, Portugal and Belgium wins looks nice, but as you said, in current circumstances these games is very tricky.
