There were big surprises in both yesterday and today's matches. I was going to place a bet before the matches started yesterday, but I couldn't catch up, luckily I was late. I didn't expect Germany to be defeated. Hungary played these matches perfectly, but I expected them to lose somewhere. Germany was defeated at home and lost its chance to finish the group leader. If you're losing such an important match, don't be a leader anyway. Italy also took their leadership hopes to the last game by beating England.
Today it was a big surprise for me that Spain lost at home. They lost the lead to Portugal. Switzerland is a good team, but they weren't expected to react like this after losing their first three games of the tournament. They managed to beat both Portugal and Spain. Sure, it's a little late. They don't stand a first place chance in the group at this point.

After seeing the results yesterday I was ready for at least one surprising result today as well. It happened just as many of us expected. But truthfully I was expecting Portugal to stumble rather than Spain. This was unexpected for me. Spain played badly in the first half despite dominating in ball possession. They started to find more opportunities in the second half but Switzerland were still well-prepared for this match. This 2-1 loss caused Spain to lose their lead.
Portugal were much more effective than I expected. They really crushed their opponent by 4-0. I expected Czech Republic to resist them well and score a goal also. They were still fighting for not dropping from the league but their performance today was too bad. Switzerland have pushed them to the last position now. The final week matches will be quite interesting as both of them will be important for different reasons.

I still dont understand why no body is talking about Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic who scored a het-trick against Sweden today and is still playing at a huge level in worlds football. I still dont understand how he is playing for just Fulham and not some top european club its just a shame
England is having 5 games in a row without winning any of them and they also scoring very rarely lately and this is not a great sign at all before World Cup because I'm sure England always have the target to win WC or EURO. I'm also hoping that they didn't want to force today and they knew Italy will most likely push for a win and in it the end it worked but I didn't saw big determination from England squad to win as they were ok by making a blank draw. 
England will relegated to league B because their final position at the bottom of standings league although there is one more match against Germany but it wouldn't be effect their final position and i know Nation League is not so important because this tournament similar such as friendly games but England should be improved their performance and not ended with the current position and now with only scoring 1 goal and conceded 7 goals from 5 matches makes most people doubt with their performance for upcoming tournament such as World Cup because seems England players cannot showed their best performance while playing on their national teamit is a very unfortunate situation and i have no idea what exactly is wrong with the team England at this moment. you know, they have a lot of good goal scorers on their team. it seems to me that one of the problems they may have is that they have an average midfield. in my opinion, their squad is really good when it comes to defensive midfielders, but they lack quality playmakers who can feed the forwards so that they can score goals for the team if they are going to feed the forwards. in addition i think, their defense is quite okay with the help of their defensive midfielder, but the coach needs to step up his game to be able to solve this problem

You talk about Italy as if the fact that they don't participate in the World Cup finals makes them a weak team. After all, it is the reigning champion of Europe - the strongest football zone in the world. Well, do not forget about the status of the League of Nations where any result is normal

Ronaldo got a pretty bad injury to his face,his nose just bleeded blood everywhere and this might have had some effect on his gameplay but not on his teams mates. Swiss leading 1-2 with a pretty stupid second goal and looks like they are going to best spain in an away match.

So true and now they are beating Spain as well and this game Spain gave almost everything in order to win the game but we are still 20 minutes away.

Obviously and it's surprising for a tea like Spain. They seem to have most of the controls but, have been way too observant of the back line and isn't giving any too much of a dangerous attack. Switzerland on the other hand even with little contacts with the ball do there bit to push for an attack when the opportunity presents itself. Good for them they've got a goal although, I don't expect Spain not to try and equalize or possibly win the game in a 2:1. Perhaps the big teams aren't giving the league much importance as they say.

The title candidates for this year's World Cup in Qatar are not doing well at the Nations League this week. Yesterday Germany already lost to Hungary, and now Spain is also behind against Switzerland. They don't have a bad team. The Nations League results are too inconsistent and I think I know why it is like that. It is because the League itself for this year is also inconsistent. They play in and they play out, and it happening in the year of the world Cup. Since it is world Cup season, some good teams who can do well in the world Cup are not taking the league so seriously while some who who will not do well in world Cup or who didn't qualify are taking it serious.

I dont think that it will happen. Spain looks much more better and i think that Swiss isnt on that level currently to make a surprise against Spain in todays match. Also Ukraine won pretty heavily today and i was thinking that they werent even gonna win in this match
We'll see later mate, nothing is impossible in football. Don't you see Juventus being beaten by Monza who is the lowest-ranked team in Serie A? So, I think Switzerland have a chance to beat Portugal, even bigger than we thought. Ukraine didn't make any surprises in that game, it was a result they deserved as they faced Armenia who lacked good performing players there.
