Sadly, the fight Bo Nickal VS Tresean Gore is not going to happen, as Gore has an injury and withdrew from the tournament... He is replaced with Val Woodburn, a guy from same Dana White Contender series. This is gonna be Woodburn debut, and imho an unsuccessful debut, as his opponent is a real wrestling master, while Val seems to be a simply steroid guy.
It's sad that was an interesting fight to watch. About Gores replaciment I don't know much beside his name. Let's see can he bring a interesting fight but I doubt so since Bo Nickal is a really sharp fighter.

I doubt that both Gore or Woodburn gonna cause real trouble to Nickal. Both of his opponents are only trained for MMA and got around 6-10 pro fights, they dont have huge competition background as Nickal. Bo is from sport family, he has started training wrestling since 8 and got a huge wrestling background. Imho both Gore and Woodburn gonna be just another skulls on his record wall. Look at his record - 4-0 and all fights dont last more than first round or first minute. He'll choke those guys. Specially Woodburn. He does not look like a guy with huge stamina tank.

That is actually surprising, if it is hard for ufc to find enough fighters to close all the wholes in card. Wont believe there arent much middleweight fighters to fill every promotion division. Middleweight is is like an average adult  Grin finding a heavyweight fighter - well that is hard. Finding middleweights seems easy. Or the problem is that fighters dont want to cut?

^  And 185 is prolly the weakest of weight classes in the UFC rn followed by 205.  They need to get more talent in at the top 10 as fast as possible.  It's also why Magomedov who's unranked got a main event slot.

Anyway, I just got my picks in for the Multi Master and decided to mix it up a bit and got the underdogs that I think could win.  Wink  The UFC has gotten a tad unpredictable as of late.  :/

Here's the countdown vid.  They included Bo Nickal in this one.  I guess he's the next prospect they're building up.

Bo Nickal actually is a very promising guy in UFC. This guys MMA record isnt that much impressive, but his wrestling background is huge. As a middleweight division guy, he really can cause lots of trouble with his skills. Middleweight is full of good strikers, but lack elite wrestlers. Imho this guy is able to get in top10 easily in few years. With time he would get used to striking more and more, and watch out middleweights Cheesy

I think we are all OK in moving on with a new event this event was pretty much frustrating for me because of that worst loss I had, but the next event will be a real main event for the UFC,

UFC 290: Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez

DATE: 07.08.2023
TIME: 06:00 PM
VENUE: T-Mobile Arena
LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

This is the most packed UFC event that I have seen even the Preliminary Cards have a juicy fight that is likely a good watch from the main event and all of the main card fights are great, actually, I don't know where to start Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez will be the sure banger of the night, and surely Brandon Moreno will defend his title to Alexandre Pantoja, we have Robert Whittaker fighting Dricus Du Plessis, from Dan Hooker, and Bo Nickal the Main card is really stacked with an amazing fight while the Preliminary card was also a great banger of a fight, starting with Robbie Lawler,  Jack Della Maddalena, Jimmy Crute, Tatsuro Taira and Edgar Cháirez, Vitor Petrino Terrence Mitchell was all the fighters that I have an idea with, going with the event,

This time whole main card looks promising plus Lawlers fight from prelims Cheesy Another test for Volkanovski. How many title defences he has already made? Few more and new UFC record? Arent Volkanovski and Makhachev are planning to fight again? First they were not planning to do it, but later Volkan insisted on him winning their fight and media start to buzz again lately.

It really Is promising indeed actually this is the 2nd time seeing a UFC event this stacked and all fights look promising, surely Yair Rodriguez is a promising athlete while Alexander Volkanovski might don't want another rematch against Max Holloway because if they did, that will be 5 times, and now Yair Rodriguez will surely have a shot for the title this is a good fight to watch I really like Yair Rodriguez but for Alexander Volkanovski losing this match it is highly unlikely to happen for me I still see Volkanovski as the goat in the Featherweight division while the Makhachev rematch is on the corner maybe after Islam Makhachev's own fight in the lightweight division,

Maybe if Volkan wins against Yair. He will insist on that rematch against Mackhachev. Once he has the mic from the media, it's an opportunity to call something out and Volkanov did it.
Just looking at their records, Volkanovski is pretty much better than Yair, Volkanov must have been expecting after this fight as well.

When it comes to power and experience, it's still Volkanovski who will win in this fight. Yair may have some success in his unusual attack but Volka will defeat him.

UFC 290 is a banger of a card.  But too bad we lost Sean Brady.  Sad  He was supposed to fight Jack Della Maddalena.  That would've been a huge test for JDM but in Brady's last match, he was KO'd by Belal Muhamad.  The UFC knew what they were doing by matching him up with a guy with KO powerrr in JDM.

Another good match up that was pulled out is Fig vs Kape.  Fig supposedly moves up to 135 for this one.  Would've loved to see that one.  :/

But still..  Some good fighters I'm looking forward to.

Here's the countdown vid.  They included Bo Nickal in this one.  I guess he's the next prospect they're building up.

Sean Strickland VS Abus Magomedov ROUND 2 KO/TKO - LOST

I really thought that Abus Magomedov will win this he got all of the needed techniques to pulverize Sean Strickland

I did not expect you would bet on Magomedov. I think your attention was taken by his record and number of KO. But like I often post, there are overall and UFC records (you might notice that I add in brackets UFC record separately). Outside UFC Magomedov is good, but UFC guys are on another level when we talk about guys in top. In this fight I saw that Sean allowed Magomedov to try all of his arsenal, waited for round two, and showed him his boxing skill.

Surely I am aware of what Sean Strickland and Abus Magomedov can do, but I really don't like Strickland sorry maybe because of this I become very biased toward Abus Magomedov, that I was so blinded by his Dagestan linage, And I thought that he got his wrestling in his tool kit but he doesn't have any but maybe he doesn't have a chance to show it, but Sean Strickland have changed his game and style instead of his usual brawling method he switches to the defending mode, his defense was so much that all possible heavy shots from Magomedov was blocked, and pretty much Abus Magomedov doesn't see this and keeps on continue his barrage of punches but because of those defense from Strickland he made Magomedov exhausted, and this is the time for Magimedov to get a decent fight a high fight but still it was a win fo Strickland,

I did go for Magomedov as well. Funny how he gassed out not even trying to reserve some. He just covers and gets wrecked. Sad day that I allocate an amount for that guy. His attempts in the first round were all just botched.

He was successful in leg kicks, I don't understand why he stopped doing it, it should have been a good strategy to not allow Strickland to move by damaging his leg.  When during his first fight he won and took a long time he got another fight, this time he may really not get another.

He surely can not take the defense of Sean Strickland and this Strickland we are seeing right now is different after his fight with Alex Pereira he clearly trained and showed good boxing, and that level of defense he adjusted himself for this fight surely Sean Strickland came prepared for this fight while clearly, Abus Magomedov came the same and not ready for a ranked fight, I surely never seen that and this has given an eye opener and seeing Strickland from a different perspective, I still hate him though

Here are my results for the fight today on UFC Fight Night Las Vegas, in this fight, I never imagine that the Main and the Co-Main will be lost while Ariane Lipski could win like that,

Sean Strickland VS Abus Magomedov ROUND 2 KO/TKO - LOST

I really thought that Abus Magomedov will win this he got all of the needed techniques to pulverize Sean Strickland but it all doesn't go so well, in his part Sean Strickland truly has a good defense that he uses on the aggressive Magomedov, I was surely surprise I really thought that Strickland doesn't have any IQ at all in this fight, he has proven me that I am wrong I might have been too lazy to look for some flaws for Magomedov, I never thought that Strickland could also fight like these, I really don't like this guy and so I thought that Abus Magomedov would win this, but he handed it out to him Strickland has used Abus Magomedov aggressiveness against him it wasn't really a good sight for me,

Damir Ismagulov VS Grant Dawson ROUND 3 DECISION - LOST

I really thought that Damir Ismagulov has got it, but Grant Dawson has gotten most of those strikes it was a unanimous decision for Dawson because all judge's scorecard goes to Grant Dawson, there were 5 takedowns for Dawson and 3 was successful takedowns for Grant Dawson, and strike output also goes to Dawson, surely I really thought that Damir Ismagulov could make the output higher for him but it was Grant Dawson's takedowns that change and control the fight

Ariane Lipski VS Melissa Gatto ROUND 3 DECISION - WIN

Now I never imagine that fighting Kitty Lipski could win against Gatto, it was really surprising but all takedown attempts of Melissa Gatto were all defended by Lipski, all 7 takedown attempts of Melissa Gatto, I was really surprised by it because Ariane Lipski takedown Gatto 1 time and it was successful, for me I was really surprised but all I have said is I know that Ariane Lipski just have a great takedown defense that Gatto will have a hardtime going forward,

The result for my bet and pick for the UFC Fight Night: Strickland vs. Magomedov was a zero win for me

Sean Strickland (1.65) VS Abus Magomedov (2.24) - LOST

I was ashamed about the loss I get Sean Strickland adjusted to this fight and he surely learns from his Alex Pereira fight this time instead of engaging in the brawl he is waiting for Abus Magomedov to land his punch and defended all of it, while Abus Magomedov surely has explosive punches and his kicks were effective but all of that power punches was defended by Sean Strickland and so on round 2 when he got a chance on landing that punches that likely will rock Abus Magomedov it was KO/TKO win for Sean the Deutschbag Strickland,

Damir Ismagulov (1.89) VS Grant Dawson (1.92) - LOST

Grant Dawson really has a ground game for sure and he had handed it down against Ismagulov, even though the fight was a little close those takedowns from Grant Dawson was really the one that controlled the fight in his favor for gaining momentum with those strikes on the ground surely Damir Ismagulov has a great stand up but the game of Grant Dawson with those takedowns have really messed the momentum of Ismagulov,

Ariane Lipski (2.90) VS Melissa Gatto (1.42) - LOST

Another loss for me is Ariane Lipski did a great job in landing a takedown of her own while for me I think that Melissa Gatto got the striking output here those takedowns were suppressed by Lipski, all 7 takedowns from Gatto, which is why it was a score for Ariane Lipski those strikes and takedowns that she gives, but for me, I think Melissa Gatto has the most output but still she lost the fight,

today we have a lot of fights, but I decided to bet on the fights of the obvious favorites, I don't know if I'll get it right, but I decided to try my luck. I put Kutateladze in my multibet bet, Kutateladzevai will fight Brenner and in my opinion, Kutateladzevai will come out victorious in this fight, the odds for this fight are not very attractive, being that there is @1.14 in favor of Kutateladzevai, but adding on my parlay I got a decent odd. another fight I added was Joanderson's fight against Westin, I bet on Joanderson with odds of @1.07. I think that with such a low odd value and looking at the performance of these two fighters it makes a lot of sense to bet on Joanderson

Of course, with these very low odds in favor of the favorites, I had no choice but to add them to my parlay, but even so, I still didn't get a decent odd, which is why I had to put them together with the boxing matches, which are also many fights, I hope I can be lucky to hit this bet since there are many fights that I added. now talking a little about other fights that I didn't bet on, Karol against Yana, I see karol winning this fight, it won't be an easy fight because the two fighters don't come from a good moment, but even so I think that karol wins this fight

In one of the UFC threads here, Guram Kutateladze is also my pick well, it is on my full pick, and also Joanderson Brito, well I highly think that these fights will be a likely good match for those two fighters, I also like their odds, but I haven't made a bet on them I surely don't want to make a full pick and bet on the full main event because I really don't have that much money to make that bet for sure,

That's a bold bet. Looking at their records, Gatto seems to have the upper hand over Lipski.
I tried several times for Gatto by Submission or by KO but Stake doesn't want me to win, it always rejects my bet saying Maximum exceeded. No place for my bet there anymore.  To me, Lipski would be so lucky if she wins this fight.

With Grant Dawson vs Damir Ismagulov, I'm also picking Dawson. In the last 6 fights of Ismagulov, they are all decisions. I would consider it a decline of his MMA skills.

It really was a bold move for me to bet on Ariane Lipski because her opponent was Melissa Gatto a well-built woman that is highly great in wrestling but for me, I want to take my chances, Lipski also has a great takedown defense that she Shown against JJ Aldrich, so she could defend those takedowns and control the volume or output of strikes she makes this could also be a Decision win for her, and she also is a fighting kitty,

With just 1 loss, it could be a decline in his MMA skills, I really don't think so Izzy also has this kind of tendency every fight he takes now are all decision matches, but he still is the champion, for me he is just seeing some improvement but just wants to finish the fight without any flashing winnings,

Ariane Lipski VS Melissa Gatto

The Stake odds for this fight are 2.90 for Lipski and 1.42 for Gato, In this fight, we can see that Ariane Lipski had solid striking for me she will give better output in striking and will be better on her feet against Gatto, and has a good takedown defense her fight on JJ Aldrich she have used those takedown defense on her advantage then punishing JJ Aldrich on striking, while Melissa Gatto is much stronger because of her Physique so her takedowns could be easy against Ariane Lipski wrestling will be her main bread and butter in this fight she got striking but she can not fight this with the stand-up against Lipski, for me both of this girl is a fighting kitty, but Ariane Lipski has a much higher level in my list and in my heart, and I am torn on who's to bet because Melissa Gatto is one crazy lady, but I think I may risk it by going with Ariane Lipski

Here are the weigh ins and the face offs.  And judging from that, we could have more than the usual number of underdogs winning in this event...  Prolly around 6 of them.  That's 50% of the total match ups.  :/  Don't take my word for it tho.  Lol.  That's an easy way to lose money.  Cheesy
