Francis is way heavier than Gane so for sure he will cater a better threat than Gane, and I wish the UFC and he could just make their difference on the side, just because Ciryl Gane was weak in wrestling but he still loses against Jon Jones and a loss is a loss it goes to show how really bad Ciryl Gane with wrestling and that he was outperformed by Jon Jones, it was 2 mins faster but it feels like there is so much Ciryl Gane can do in order for him to not get submitted but because of lack of knowledge with wrestling and the less experience he has in it this has happened, But still I like Ciryl Gane as a fighter but now against a wrestler I will never look at him the same as before he never caters a different style and it was always the same like he never learns from what has happened with their fight against Francis Ngannou.

To counter Jones, you need to be a versatile fighter, this became the main problem for Gane. I don't want to offend any of the fighters but Gane disappointed me, there was such a hype around this fight, but in the end it all ended very quickly, even too quickly.

Nganu would be a good opponent for Jones, and even though it's not possible right now, I think we'll see them fight someday. Although they had so many opportunities to have this fight while Nganu was in the UFC, why didn't it happen, can we say that John somehow avoided this fight? I don’t know what happened and how, but I would like to watch the fight of these monsters, in the first round it would hardly have ended.

That is why I dont like women MMA and their fights are always so unpredicted. Women fights are always a total mismatch on the paper, and a close fight in the octagon. This not the first time a woman fighter with 7+ odd wins. Zhang Weili was same underdog in her last fight. Dont forget Julianna Pena vs. Amanda Nunes upset. And I did not even started to google. I am sure I would have found more example. In men UFC, I can remember only how Leon Edwards make a huge upset to Kamaru Usman.

Congrats on our win over Alexa Grasso, that was a huge profit indeed, and sorry for your parlay that Viviane Araujo has broken, surely if I would make that Parley on this event my Parley will be destroyed by Jon Jones and Da'Mon Blackshear because I went for Amanda Ribas, but that was a huge win for Alexa Grasso, and going with her because I just got the feeling that she will pull an upset, even though Valentina Shevchenko always say that she had prepared for this fight I feel that she slacked off and underestimated Grasso that much, but surely that rematch will surely be a great thing for Alexa Grasso and to give her more confidence in her self because right now she was very humble that despite she is dominant with the stand-up, Well Alexa Grasso was really really humble, And no one has notice her at all, I think she surely needed to win in that rematch,

Thank you and congrats on your Grasso bet too.
I think many gamblers were destroyed especially their parlays. The Grasso fight versus Shevchenko might be the killer of it. No one really expected it for the odds were too far. It even added more to Grasso being the heavy underdog when the fight was about to start. I think the last odds were 7.60-7.80. Then, there's Jon Jones winning although he is the favorite.

She sure needed another win and that's to cement his position as the champion. Many analysts are still thinking she won't win in their rematch but if she can shut them up, then all these doubts will be gone.

Here we go again, a great fight indeed, and Merab Dvalishvili is one scary dude, beating up José Aldo and making him retire is one crazy feat, but Petr yan will be needing this win he does have 2 consecutive losses right now so he will be needing this win for sure

Petr Yan is in a tricky situation right now. Guess where Merab Dvalishvili trains and who he trains with. I will give you a hint - he is a sparring partner of a guy who already has two wins over Yan (or one win Cheesy). Dvalishvili is now on a series of 9 wins. So if Dvalishvili follows gameplan, he has all chances to win. Dvalishvili weakness is defense from strikes, head movement. But he is good at wrestling. Petr starts slowly, but increase tempo in last rounds. With takedowns and ground work Merab is able to take first round, survive Petr striking  and win 2-1 or 3-2 aka split decision.

UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Dvalishvili

Bantamweight: Petr Yan vs. Merab Dvalishvili
Heavyweight: Alexander Volkov vs. Alexander Romanov
Light Heavyweight: Nikita Krylov vs. Ryan Spann
Bantamweight: Said Nurmagomedov vs. Jonathan Martinez
Women's Flyweight: Ariane Lipski vs. JJ Aldrich

Here we go again, a great fight indeed, and Merab Dvalishvili is one scary dude, beating up José Aldo and making him retire is one crazy feat, but Petr yan will be needing this win he does have 2 consecutive losses right now so he will be needing this win for sure, and the 2 Alexander will clash, this is 1 interesting fight for sure, then Said Nurmagomedov I surely anticipated for him to fight because it is a long way up for the Bantamweight title but I guess Umar Nurmagomedov could be the 1st to test the champion Sterling, and then I will surely support the beautiful Ariane Lipski and the cancelled fight for Nikita Krylove VS Ryan Spann was moved to this event for sure this is going to be a great fight aswell,

I'll probably be having a break in terms of betting, the events coming up don't particularly take my fancy. I'll still get some predictions out. Obviously, the next big event for me would be Izzy vs Alex again. Izzy has some value there too, considering he was winning their last fight up until literally the final moments Tongue.

Well he gave Jon a swift kick in the bollocks. Does that count?  Cheesy
While, I might not be a massive fan of Gane, I've got to give him credit here. That's the best possible way to welcome back Jon Jones into the UFC. I thought that was quite funny, especially since Jon Jones is known to commit quite a lot of fouls himself.

After the success of the Alexa Grasso fight I am finding fights that have the same kind of vibe as that fight aswell in this event but still looking for some underdog fights for this event that is worthy and yes there aren't really many fights that are available, but surely a big fight like the Israel Adesanya VS Alex Pereira would be a wonderful sight to watch, and because it is way too far ahead and we just have this event right now and for me there are some juicy fight that surely interest me,

I started having doubts when I saw Jon Jones body and I thought he has the worst out of them but he proved that you do not need to look ripped to be able to become champion and he proved that you can go a long time out of competing come back and win a belt. I think Conor tried to do that and failed but the goat Jon Jones was able to secure it easily. I think he is the true goat of the sport and it is a shame that Khabib and Jones was not the same weight class because I think it would be a fun fight.
In heavyweight you can't judge from the physical appearance because their fat covering the muscle, so their body doesn't look strong in our eyes. Ciryl Gane is really have low grappling skill compared to Jon Jones, maybe this is the reason why Francis Ngannou choose to leave UFC because he would fight with Jon Jones.

Assuming if there's a fight between Khabib vs Jones, I believe the popularity and the hype is really low than Khabib vs Conor. The fight between Khabib vs Conor is making whole people who doesn't interested with UFC, become interested to watch them.

I saw people speculated that Gane hand was possibly injured before this fight so I expected to see Jon Jones winning this fight.
He is now heavyweight champion and Stipe Miocic is probably going to be his next opponent, unless something unexpected changes.
I am really impressed with Shavkat Rakhmonov, with perfect 17-0 record he is seriously aiming for welterweight title.

John Jones was supposed to win this fight. I think a lot of people good already expect that by just watching the physique of both fighters. The fight was a good one. John Jones was the deserving winner of this fight. At some times in the fight, it did feel like John Jones was actually fighting against an easy opponent. But that's just his class which is above many fighters even at the top level of MMA.

Rakhmonov is actually showing great potential to actually be one of the best in the fighting business. A great record of 17-0 so far. If he can be persistent with his hard work he will probably get closer to Khabib Nurmagomedov's record.

It's a decent Fight Night card with lots of familiar names for the regs of this thread.  Wink  Some of them are really close matches tho, so making a parlay could be harder than UFC 285.  I think lots of parlays were hitting at 285 if they managed to avoid putting Shev in them.  She's the pie shtter of the event.  Would've won three tickets if not for her.  :/

Anyway, this next one is tough but I'll still be making a my greasy lottery ticket nevertheless.  Lol.  GL to all your picks.  And congrats to the winners of 285.

As soon as Jon Jones returned, he had a belt around his waist. It was already empty in the belt. Cirl showed Gane so easily that he did takedown and guillotine choke in two minutes and made Gane adore him. I don't know why Gane didn't try at all. I was hoping to watch a good match. In general, most of the matches ended in submission. Heavyweight doesn't seem as fun to me anymore, or we haven't had a decent matchup lately. One side is always superior, yes that means heavyweight, but a little reciprocal fight is more satisfying for the audience.

The fight was really shocking indeed, and like I have said I wasn't expecting that to happen to me Jon Jones just got the experience and the power for that Guillotine choke because Ciryl Gane didn't struggle but tapped so fast and after that, you can see from Gane's face that he was in utter disbelief in what has happened for me it was a stunning performance for Jon Jones in getting knowledge in any kind of position he can surely submit any opponent he faced, he is like a heavyweight Khabib for me, and Ciryl Gane because of the low knowledge and experience with wrestling he doesn't have any answer to what Jones is doing while they are on the fence, but for you, I think you have expected to see some stand-up action but instead have gotten a fast submission of only 2 mins, but for me, it was really enough to say that Jon Jones really is the champion,

Had a similar acca fail by one leg too. But it was on the main event with Jones just destroying Gane within a minute of the first round. Mine was a 25x one with only 7 matches on it so not as lengthy as yours and on another bookmaker's site.
I stayed away from those fights I wasn't 100% confident in my predictions such as the Amanda Ribas fight.
This is actually how it looked in complete view.

It hurts so damn bad, that could've been my biggest parlay win in my whole life.  Grin

Well, I am trying to just forget it. Besides, I have some good wins in the Alexa Grasso fight and Jon Jones.

Both fighters won by submission and almost in the same style. It's amazing how that happens considering this is mixed martial arts and they could've won it in different styles.
Huge return from Jones, and then Grasso can celebrate now but she has to prepare again as Shevchenko already said she wants the rematch as fast as possible.

Jon Jones before this or rather in the past he didn't have a very big body in my opinion but he had above normal resistance to the point of taking a lot of hits, getting a disfigured face but the guy kept fighting and didn't show any signs of intention to give up and in the only good opportunity he had to immobilize the opponent he took advantage and did not let the opponent until he won the fight, with his current physique it will be very difficult for someone to beat him

before this fight started I believed that Ciryl Gane would have some chance of winning the fight, but during the fight when I saw the physique and the way Jon Jones looked, I soon realized that he didn't forget his old strategy, so I told I told myself that he would win this fight and I hadn't even paid attention that the video of the fight summary had the title that he won the fight, at which point Ciryl Gane was pinned, there was nothing else he could do but give up

He needs to be big and build up for this because this is the heavyweight if he is still weight as a light heavyweight his wrestling will not be effective against Gane, Surely after the fight, Ciryl Gane has already noticed what is wrong he had done, and this is not exploding more and there are a lot of openings and he doesn't capitalize on that he is dominant when it comes to striking but because Jon Jones is quite familiar with wrestling so much even though he can not get the back of Gane there are other ways to Submit him and because Ciryl Gane just have a few knowledge when it comes to wrestling that is why Jones has submitted Bon Gamin easily,

Ciryl Gane has the chance of winning this for sure, but he stops in giving pressure on Jones and always moving backward, and Ciryl Gane is like leaping backward so much like he was scared of being submitted by Jon Jones, he was scared of his wrestling, well that was it because of wrestling heavyweight division is never been the same,

I am disappointed with Jones vs Gane fight. I think I did not have enough of it. 2 minutes and it is over. This was too easy for Bones. It only showed that you can slack for years, get in the ring and win. I would say that this fight showed that Gane is way too weak against wrestling, isnt prepared, perhaps overestimated. This fight did not show that Jones is the greatest, or how some people say: "the greatest fighter of all time". If this was Ngannou in the ring, we would have seen a completely different fight.

You don't know how hard he's been training though. Being out of the ring for a while can be deceptive especially if you're sparring heavyweights multiple times a week and training hard every other day.

I do not know if the rumors are true about him injuring his hand but he did not look like the fighter he has been the last 2 years.

Well maybe he will have excuses or maybe he just got overwhelmed by a better fighter. Could even be both.

Jon Jones is the GOAT and I do not think this looks bad on Gane. I thought it would be more competitive but Jon Jones beat people easily when he was in the ufc 3 years ago. Gane will bounce back and will probably get a chance to take the belt from him and hopefully learns how to wrestle. There is no 1 else in the heavyweight division to challenge Jones so we need Gane to do his best to try and challenge him.

I do not know if the rumors are true about him injuring his hand but he did not look like the fighter he has been the last 2 years. He accepted the takedown and then got choked. I did not think it was tight and he just tapped. I wonder if we will hear in the next day if he had any injuries because I was expecting more from him.

I was sceptical that Jon Jones could come back after so long and take on someone like Gane but it was like he never went away. It's a real shame Ngannou has gone because who else is left in the heavyweight division that will be a challenge to Jones? It looks like they're trying to set up a fight with Stipe next for Jon but if he can take out Gane that easy in the first round Stipe wont be much of a challenge either.
